I have my SMS backup on google drive, but now when I restored it to a new phone, it only contains messages from 2016 and prior. any suggestions? BTW, the call history wasn't restored at all...
Android 10 , Samsung S20 Ultra.

1. You’re using the same phone number and Google account that the backup was created on.
2. There's enough memory on your phone to restore the backup.
3. You have Google Play services installed on your phone.
4. Your phone’s battery is fully charged or plugged into a power source.
5. Your phone has a strong and stable internet connection. If restoring using a cellular data network doesn't work, please try Wi-Fi.

Hello last time i had the problem with app. I couldn't edit photos cause i got error about resources is not avaiable or sth like this - i don't remember error message. At the moment i had another problem. Error message (i have internet connection active, i am online):

Last time when i had this problem at home it works after few mins cause i had wifi connection and google+ photo download these resources. But now when i am on mobile data it is impossible to use edit tools, still have same error message.
Any sollution?
It is possible to use it offline? and don't work in "cloud"? Without any update?
Ps. I just reinstall google+, cleared cache, uninstalled updates, removed and installed again from play store. Still not work.

Hi all,
It took some time but I finnaly got MarshMellow via OTA.
Ofcourse I installed it without making a backup via Smart Switch but with some luck I wouldn't not run into any issues.
I want to start over and reset my device but not after a backup with Smart Switch, it is a perfect program and I like the back up of it, saves a lot of time to move my music, photo and video files from and to my computer.
However, since the new MarsMellow update we got the new permissions feature and ofcourse this is not perfect in this update.
I run into the following issue:
Whenever I want to make a backup I open Smart Switch, connect my phone and press "Backup" after a few seconds the next screen pops up:

And nothing happend; according to that message a pop up has to appear on my phone about permissions and I have to accept them but nothing happens.
So my question: are there more users with this issue?

I recently updated to MIUI 11.0.2 (Global), and since then have noticed several problems.
The most serious is: MIUI Sync (Mi Cloud Backup) doesn't sync my text messages and call history.

So, I'm concerned that if I were to lose my phone, and get another Mi phone, and then recover from my saved backup, I won't get my text and call history back.
My Questions:
Is there a fix for this syncing issue?
I also have something called "Google Backup & Restore" which is enabled. Does this backup all my Android settings (including which apps are installed), or just Google's apps / services.
Is there some way for me to ensure that my text messages and call history are indeed backedup / synced to either Mi's cloud or to Google's cloud?

I recently put android 5.0.1 on my Note 3, rooted it, and deleted much of the bloat with titanium backup. It has come to my attention that I probably deleted an important process/package without knowing (of its importance) and didn't back it up. Is there a way I can get the package back without redoing the whole phone?
The process android.process.media (the phone will say that this process unfortunately stopped working whenever I plug the phone into the computer. Also, here and there Touchwiz will stop working. Seems to happen when I visit certain parts of the settings. Lastly when I go to the gallery it's "frozen", I have plenty of pictures on the phone accessible through the file manager but gallery won't update/recognize any of it.)
Help would be appreciated.

Hello,i'm very sorry if this is the wrong location for this question/problem..
I have a Lenovo Android tablet in my car that use as a multimedia device. Now i want to install a backup camera by using usb web camera. Everything is just the way i want it..i even bought a app called Usb Camera Pro that starts on its own when the signal appears,and turns off when the signal is not there.
Only problem i'm having is when i connect the device (web camera,Easycap..whatever) it always asks for a permission to use that usb device..so every time i want to use it as a backup camera i need to click on screen and than start the app on my own! When the signal is not there the app turns off on its own.
I even tried a custom Rom today,and it's the same.
Can someone please help me to turn that off?
I asked the app developer and he told me that is the problem with the system,not his app,and that he don't have the solution.
