Cant get Mi Unlock to work on Redmi 6 - General Questions and Answers

Have a china model with locked bootloader, most current official Chinese rom and a giffgaff sim. Been trying to connect to the servers for about 3 months. Always get error 10000 on the unlock app. Have got usb debugging and OEM unlocking on in the dev menu and have logged in and out several times which takes forever waiting for xiaomi verification txts.
I can receive confirmation txts from xiaomi ok using there apple like txt over internet service but the sim never seems to verify properly. the cloud services also refuse to backup which is something thats supposed to be running for the unlock to work.
Any help highly appreciated!

Strangest of situations about Bootloader

So i have been battling to unlock my bootloader since i got the my phone(end of august). I have not been successful at all and i cannot figure at a solution. I have emailed emuifans and [email protected] to send me my bootloader code to no avail(mailed them about a month ago). So i decided to try and connect 14 straight days just in case this works. I downloaded the chinese APK HiApp and logged in 17 days in a row. I am still faceing the 14 days id wall. So i came here in search of help cause if i expected anything from Huawei i would be a goner by now. So:
1)Is this the correct way to get the bootloader code or i was hitting my head to the wall all this time?
2)Is there a Update i could do so i can get to an unlocked bootloader state?
3)Once you unlock the bootloader and you change firmware is there a possibility that it will get locked again through an update(without you explicitly locking it)?
So far my experience tinkering with this huawei hasn't been the greatest while my previous(p6 and U8800) has been phenomenal. I have a Dual sim DL00

Mate....if you have a registered account then go here
1. http://emui.huawei.com/en/plugin/hwdownload/download
2. Login
3. At the top you will see unlock bootloader, click this
3. Tick yes to terms of the unlocking agreement
4. Fill in your phone details correctly and the unlock code will show up in a matter of seconds ( there is no need to wait 14 days)
good luck

Went, logged in,pressed bootloader, filled the phone details AND it still asks me to wait 14 days. If you see the attachment on my first post you will notice its the website and says it needs the id to be logged for more than 14 days.
Ok....for me it happened straight away...I registered via the PC and it was instant. Your other option is to use HCU Client app and pay 4 credits and you will get it straight away.
Mate....if you have no luck, If you send me (PRIVATE MESSAGE) all the info required ( view the image from the link I shared in Original response to fine what info is needed) I can enter the details via my account and send you the unlock code. I have used my account to unlock two different imei codes and I don't think there are any limitations to howmany I can run through my account....some one else may have an opinion on this however?
Any way just an offer, you may feel nervous about sending on your private phone details to total stranger, I would....totally up to you, I certainly would delete and make sure they were never made public ...offer is there.

Im considering using the DC unlocker option since i can get nowhere with huawei but im afraid if the phone will relock if i flash a Huawei rom again. Thus my 3rd question in the original thread.
I used Dc.unlocker with the app from same author. Its a bit less expensive. Once you get the code, its for life. Write it somewhere.to not loose it, or keep the mail receved.

Unable to flash stock android nor Successfully unlock phone.

Good evening,
Hate to bother everyone since you're all busy, however i've been trying for 2 days now to do a couple things with this new phone. This LG Aristo 2 was handed to me by a sister in law (not purchased from swappa); What we've been trying to do is have the Phone unlocked and used for T-mobile however it appears that no matter how much we try resetting the phone, booting the unlock app and being greeted with a "Unlock failed: Phone already unlocked" screen and using a different SIM. The phone will pick up the signal, turn to 'searching...' and then connect to the network again but not allow calls/data to go through, The APN settings are also correct.
So plan B is to reinstall the stock android software (kdz) from https://lg-firmwares.com/lg-lmx210ma-firmwares/; Unfortunately i'm always greeted with an error saying that it cannot complete. Unsure what else to do at this point, Any recommendations?
To clarify, the reason why I'm trying to ensure the unlock has been successful is because we plan to use for calls and data. Texting seems to work, the APNs are correct but data services and calls don't seem to go through, unsure why.
To unlock it via app, you can spend $7ish on eBay. It would take 2 days to get it unlocked.

Unlocking Bootloader

Looking for a little clarity on the bootloader unlocking procedure -- maybe I'm getting old, because I'm a bit lost.
No, not maybe -- I'm definitely getting old...
I've just received my Mi Mix 3 with MIUI Global, updated to 10.2 Stable OTA this afternoon, and my SIM card is inserted and working.
I have a Xiaomi account -- set it up when I got some of their Yeelight light strips a year or so ago -- and I can log in to the account at https://account.xiaomi.com. I've gone through the initial setup on the Mi Mix 3, adding the Mi account on the phone, and it shows I'm successfully logged in. I've enabled developer options, and in the developer options settings I've enabled both USB debugging and OEM unlocking. When I go into Settings -> Developer Options -> Mi Unlock Status, I'm prompted to agree to the necessary permissions for Mi Unlock to access my account, and I agree. The page then shows "This device is locked/The phone is secured" with a blurb about why the device should remain locked, then the steps to take to unlock the device if you understand and accept the risks. The steps it displays are:
1. Insert SIM card -- done
2. Turn off WiFi and use mobile data -- done
3. Tap "Add account" button to associate Mi account with this device -- done, with a success notification
4. Download unlock tool from website -- and here it gets iffy...
I go to http://en.miui.com/unlock, and click the Unlock button, then download the Mi Unlock Tool. I unzip into an empty directory, and run the miflash_unlock.exe as Administrator. In the app, I agree to the disclaimer, and enter my account details, then watch the spinner while the app checks to see if my Mi account has permissions. After a few seconds, I receive the error:
Account application area query failed
This repeats indefinitely if I accept the application's offer to "Try Again".
Does anyone know what this means? Does it mean my request to unlock has been denied? Maybe I'm stuck in the 72 hour waiting period I've heard about (though nothing on my phone, on the website, or in the unlock application indicates anything about a 72 hour wait)? Or is the app unable, for some undisclosed reason, to access my Mi account information? I'm a little stumped, here.
Looks like _maybe_ I've figured it out... Downloaded an older version of the unlock utility (v3.3.525.23). Gets me past the "Account application area query failed" error. Now, when trying to unlock, I'm getting this:
Couldn't unlock
After 71 hours of trying to unlock the device
Which I'm interpreting as meaning I just have to wait the 3 days.

Yes, sounds like you have it working, its just a waiting game now.

Unlocked bootloader Redmi Note 10 Pro, privacy and security: none

Why would I unlock? To debloat and install different ROM for security reasons.
Problem with this was, to unlock the bootloader, you have to make an account using emails, passwords, telephone number and logging onto the phone, giving them phones UID datas, thus removing the reason to do it, for the security and privacy.
Installing Mi Unlock tool on the computer, give them more system details, and then you have to wait 1 week (or 2?) just to unlock the bootloader, to 'apply' for an unlock. Which meant I couldnt use the phone for a few weeks, whole point of getting it...
Was rather upset in having to do this, as there shouldnt have to be a reason to do all this for a phone unlock. Now theres a nice row on Chinese databases with phones unique id, telephone number and emails, which will never disappear...
Phones are totally locked nowadays, anyone else upset/annoyed with all these systems?
bit of a rant as im rather annoyed still.

Issues unlocking the bootloader

Got myself a used poco x3 nfc. Wanted to unlock the bootloader to load lineageOS on it. Instead, I got a boatload of errors just trying to unlock the bootloader.
The device is fully functional, wifi, data, calls, SMS, all work.
I have a Xiaomi account that shows the phone in the "devices" section of the account, but when clicked, doesn't show model or name.
OEM Unlocking is enabled, but when I go to Mi Unlock status, pressing "add account and device" will either "succeed" (3/4 times), "network error" (1/4 times), "request parameter error (rarely). In all 3 cases the button is still clickable. The issue being that even if it succeeds, when I go to actually try to unlock the bootloader, the unlock app on pc will error out with "Please add your account in MIUI's settings>developer options>mi unlocks status"
Even putting that aside, getting my PC to detect the phone in fastboot is another issue on its own, working only 1/4 times roughly.
Not sure if relevant, but the poco X3 NFC doesn't show up in my carrier's device list (this is my 3rd device using the same sim card, the other 2 being pixel 2 and samsung A03s), though as mentioned earlier data, calls, and SMS all work despite this.
