How do I connect a video game controller to android headunit? - General Questions and Answers

I have a Dasaita 10.2 PX6 Head unit and I was just curious is there a way to connect an xbox or ps4 controller to it to play games? I've tried Bluetooth but it won't connect just phones and wired doesn't do anything as well as far as I can tell. is there a developer option you can access like on an android phone or regulars tablet in order to "Activate it"?

Wifi game controller for WM5?

Once on youtube I saw a video of a wifi game controller connected to a Dell Axim. I'd like to purchase a wifi game controller that I can connect to my WM5 phone (WS003SH) but I would like to find out what software is necesary and if any wifi controller can work with any WM5 device. Thank you all for your help!
Anyone familiar with this hardware/software? Can I connect a wifi video game controller to a WM5 device?
No one is interested in playing games with a wifi controller?
not sure what you mean but a wifi controller
never come across the term before the wii cntrls and ps3 i belive use bluetooth
never heard of a game controller which operated using wireless eathernet as protocol
There's a bluetooth gamepad http://www.tangshop.com/bluetooth-game-pad-bgp-100.html a little expensive for my taste though.
Ah, I should have figured it was a bluetooth controller. Thank you all for your help!

[Q] could you, in theory, connect a bluetooth game controller to an android phone?

with the software for it of course. I was just wondering if you could plug the phone into a TV, and control it from the game controller.

[Q] Razer Onza compatibility

So I know that XBox360 and PS3 wired controllers are compatible (mostly) with Transformer. Problem is, I can't find a wired XBox controller on sale anywhere in my city and I don't really like PS3 one. Since Onza is XBox compatible does anyone know if it will be compatible with Transformer in the same games as vanilla XBox one?
It doesn't work, I just bought one
in my experience controllers with nonstandard layouts or extra buttons do not work such as the onza or the Logitech F310 if they are in PC mode (direct input) but they will work if the extra buttons are disabled in xbox mode

Question Adding Xbox Bluetooth controller doesn’t Work CC3

I went to the App Store and downloaded Xbox app
looks great on the CC3
but it says to tie a Bluetooth controller to the tablet,
everyone one else can see the bl xbox controller, but it doesn’t even show up under the add Bluetooth "….?
any ideas
The BT is locked down on these units to force you into buying the sellers OBD etc so I doubt, with Teyes being the worst offender for locking out other bit of kit, you will connect to an X box controller.
Weird, I’ll drive down the street and see everyones tv but my Xbox controller blinking like crazy and plugged into the usb….. nope, can’t see it
Consider a generic FYT uis7862 unit

"Discovering" something is different for several BT devices on these units. Sometimes you see them, sometimes not at all. However, like @kommando says: BT is completely blocked and paring will only succeed with a few allowed devices.
And then you say "... and plugged into the usb ..". That is not BT, that is USB, but also USB is completely blocked apart from mass storage and phones and again, a few reseller sold devices.

As such I agree with the statement, but a T'eyes CC3 is also a FYT unit although not generic. Buying a generic FYT unit won't help him for his BT and USB wishes.
