Question Little rom choice help - Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro

Hey I recently purchased poco x3 pro and wanted to get rid of miui, can anyone suggest the some good roms to flash as I am a beginner, my main priorities are looks and gaming

My main ROM nowadays is cDROID 7.7
it's almost perfect

i use ARROW, got around 7-9 hours of SOT

Im also trying to choose a rom for my x3 pro. I come from a One plus with cdroid and that rom was amazing.
People talk very good abot Arrow tho, so i cant choose aha

I used arrow because it was what was avaliable at the time, and had the most comprehensive guides and development.
crDroid seems to be a good option too. I'd try it, but I don't want to lose any data so I cant really be bothered.
I had dotOS on my Mi 9T (davinci) and it wasn't very stable nor versatile in my experience. I dont know if it is much better on X3 Pro, but I've chosen to simply avoid it.

ArrowOS is not that good in this aspect.
ArrowOS is simple and fast, but lack of some stuff like customization.
Other ROMs may have more customization, but can't know if you would be satisfied or not. This is subjective.
If that ROM don't meet your need, switch to try other ROMs. (Backup your data before switching between ROMs)
Try and error.
Life is just like this.

I'm using DOTos, it's the first ROM IV installed on this device and gotta say it's smooth and no issues so far.
Roms are subjective and I don't play games on my phone either so just install some and try for yourself

I've used ArrowOS, DotOS, Xperience and crDroid. I didn't like DotOS and ArrowOS that much. Xperience is very good but lacks customization. I am currently using crDroid. I am very satisfied. If Xperince was like crDroid, I would undoubtedly use it. If you want customization definitely crDroid. If you don't need much customization, definitely Xperience. Good luck.

Just go with the arrow os official it's the best for gaming and looks

How does Arrow compare to lineage? I've been quite happy with lineage on past devices and have a black Friday X3 pro arriving tomorrow.

best custom rom for this device

I want to know what's the best custom rom for mi 5s plus
There is no such thing as best Rom, that's very subjective.
I personally like the Nexus Experience ROM the most as it ticks everything I want.
Some others may say LineageOs or MIUIPro, or maybe MIUI...
What is your personality like? I always want the newest os so i use the Lineage 15.1 Oreo 8.1. But i really like customizable roms, if you like it either i can say ResurrectionRemix official is the best, for my oppinion. and don't use the official rom, it drains your accumulator really fast xd Other ways its good but if you need a good work time i don't recomment it.

What is the best rom for me? S8+

Hello, I am a new here but I recently got into modding my galaxy s8+. But there are so many roms out there and every one of them has something different. I am looking for a fast rom with many options to personalize the os. While also having nice features. I have checked out Havoc OS and I quite like it but I am open for suggestions. Thanks for helping a new here...
I personally use bliss Rom for s8+. It's the best for me. The customization is super rich! Battery is good. Have a few minor bugs here and there but it's nothing major. Havoc is also good.
Honestly, havoc or bliss are the best. Tried both and both were running perfectly but bliss is a winner for me because it has more customization features.
what about a camera, it is good or bad in custom roms?

Maybe read the threads and make up your own mind.
ONE seems interesting but it's mostly a miui clone imho..
I really loved CRdroid on my F1 so it was my obvious choice for the F2.
Just installed it and so far without any major issues imho.
Too bad it's such a pain to get it installed.
Well it's depend on every person. For me, i totally like stock-aosp but with extra features just like EvolutionX, so that's my options.
If you're not satisfied with just one rom, then try it all. That's for me.
Is there any custom ROM with selinux enforced?

Moving from Pixel to Poco?

Hi all!. I used to be flashaholic guys and when they released Google Pixel series I immediately fell in love with them. However after using Pixel phones my flashaholic side seems to be gone because what I now want it GCAM for decent photos, + Google Stock ROM/Pure Android ROM. Long story short, I had to sell my pixel phones and currently I cant afford to buy new pixel phone. So that's when I saw this device Poco X3 with good XDA community where I can find pixel + pure android based ROMS. It would be really great if you guys can help me out with below question.
1. Are there any almost perfect/bugless pixel/pure android based ROMs for android 10?
2. Is there any perfect/good GCAM port for this device?
Like I said before, I highly appreciate you guys input and I asked those questions because I need to make a decision. I have high respect for the devs and the community.
Hey,
I have exactly the same story, always been flashing custom roms, kernels and stuff. But then pixels came in, i always loved stock android thus usually flashed aosp based roms, so pixels came in i got myself a pixel 2 and didnt flash a single rom on it to date, had been using it for like 3years now (since release date till this week)
Now i wanted a good phone but didnt want to spend a lot of cash so got myself a poco x3 because i saw developers community was active on xda, it has already got few roms and i think gcam port will be available soon but honestly for me the stock camera is pretty fine
It is a good phone, i like the camera too. For my usage which is social apps and books usually, it works fine. Havent faced a major bug so far except for that my camera switch was taking 2 - 3 seconds, cleaning the camera app data fixed that too
I think it is a good buy, gives a premium feel too. As

No problem
I haven't tried all roms but this far Arrow OS seems pretty nice, I tried both Pixel Experience 10 and 11 and I can't say they're good yet, 10 gave me a headache with Play Protect not being certificated and 11 has poor performance, Arrow on the other hand is really really smooth and looks clean, I flashed 'Fixy' kernel as well and performance wise runs so much better than MIUI with also better battery autonomy, you did a great buy, the Poco Is a great phone, the only thing I miss from my old OP5 is the oled panel.

Hey, i'm in the same boat. Recently my Pixel XL battery died (too old to repair) and was thinking of getting the Poco X3 due to buget. @crazykas did you buy one, would love to hear your feedback, especially from a person switching form pixel to poco

I'm so sorry mate. I didn't see your post and seriously don't know whether it is good time to reply back considering the time. Anyway I had some other urgent matters to fulfill , hence I couldn't buy the phone. However I'm planning to buy it by the end of this month (hopefully) and will let you know my experience if you still have not but the phone. Again I'm sorry for my late reply

Question Do you recommend this device?

Hey everyone, I'm thinking of upgrading from my run-down Redmi K20 Pro.
Do you recommend this device in general? How's thermal performance? How's the custom ROM scene? Do you have any regrets?

I'm using One plus 9 for 4 months and I really like it. The performance is good compared to other flagship phones and I didn't change the custom ROM till now. There is no problem with the ROM but my only regret is the battery drains faster when I see high-quality videos from Youtube.

I have the OP 9 from launch, hoping it would have the same custom ROM support as its predecessors (I've been sn intermittent OnePlus customer from the original OnePlus One).
Sadly, when mauronofrio departed the TWRP scene, the community never recovered. The lack of a fully functional updated TWRP has caused the development community to essentially wither away, with maybe 2-3 viable custom ROMs standing. That's terrible compared to the past.
Bottom line is that I migrated to the Pixel 6 Pro, where I hoped to find a more vibrant developer community. Same thing here. No TWRP. It's relative desolation. Sigh.
I like the device overall sure go for it, but still if you have a great deal on a SD865+ phone, buy that instead. The SD888 is great and all but only on paper, it heats up quicker than 865 and 855 and then whoosh all the great performance is gone.
