[Request] HTC Exodus 2.45.400.2 boot.img - HTC U12+ Questions & Answers

I wanted to install Magisk on my HTC Exodus but I couldn't find a download of the firmware for 2.45.400.2 anywhere.
Alternatively, is there a way to get it from the device itself? It's stock besides an unlocked bootloader.

[Q] Rooting help

All,
I have just bought a 'new to me' Rogers HTC One X. It already had JB 4.1.1 installed.
I managed to unlock the bootloader via htcdev without issue and managed to flash TWRP 2.3.3 installed via Hasoon2000's tool however it is unusable because the touchscreen doesn't work within it. Is there a work around for this?
I also cannot root the device through the various one-click approaches listed here.
Any help you can offer on rooting it and getting a recovery manager working would be appreciated.
If you need any details from me (various version numbers, etc.) please let me know. I've been out of the Android world for a while so you may need to tell me where to look.
Cheers!
SOLVED
In case others run into this I was able to flash TWRP 2.4.0.0 to the device - touch screen within recovery now works. Once that was done everything was gold: Flashed SU, Viper, and the Viper boot loop fix.
As you have found, root using one-clicks or Hasoon2000's toolkit is not needed on any version except the AT&T variant.
For all other variants (besides AT&T) just unlock bootloader, install TWRP, and flash SU or a rooted ROM.
The problem was the version of TWRP it pushed. I could never flash anything until I updated it so touch worked again.

[Q] HTC One M8 not properly rooted!

I am now able to run CyanogenMod 12 on my HTC One M8 however apart from Coolify, all other root apps on my phone indicate that I don't have root access or that I'm not properly rooted, what should I do?
Hi sam,
How do you get cm12 on your m8?
Do you flash with recovery ?
If so, download su.zip from chainfire and flash it in your recovery.
If you dont have a recovery anymore write here and we try to flash a new one.

Unable to get OTA Updates installed on TWRP - Need to go back to stock recovery

Hi All,
Background:
Installed TWRP recovery to downgrade to KitKat from Android ver 5.0.2 / COS 12.0 YNg1TAS17L
( I guess the changes in lollipop made me to do so).
But after installing TWRP, for some reason or other I did nothing and now the issue is the OTA are not getting installed. From other similar thread I know that we can download the OTA zip and install through TWRP and I am not looking to get into that...as I am giving this device to my family.
Help Required:
1) Is there a way to uninstall TWRP and go back to stock recovery without losing any data?
( Is it as simple as flashing recovery image from the Stock ROM?)
2) Using the OnePlus tool kit can we flash the stock ROM which will also restore the stock recovery?
(If so is it possible to flash the latest ROM 5.1.1 or CM12.1)
I just need guidance here with steps on what will be the best and safe approach without frying up my device.
Please suggest

Numerous other threads on the same subject... I don't understand why you are not ready to flash the OTA through TWRP but you are through stock recovery... It's the same thing... Don't use toolkit, they are the ones, in 99% of the cases, that "fry" your phone... As soon as TWRP is installed no OTA will automatically, you will have to flash them manually.

[HELP] Does anyone have the stock recovery img for 1.62.161.2 or the RUU?

I install TWRP on an HTC One A9 and it broke Android Pay. What do I need to do to restore it back to Official Status?

Custom recovery TWRP

Hi,
I rooted my device HTC one X9 dual sim by Supersu with custom recovery TWRP.
I want to change it to magisk and i got an error code 1 in TWRP while flashing it.
As i searched on XDA forums, i found that flashing with boot.img from stock ROM will fix the issue.
But HTC is not providing Stock ROM on their dev page.
Any idea?
Thanks in advance!!!
it is very simple
just tell me which version of supersu you have installed
