I tried to install Havoc 4.6 (Android 11) custom rom on my Moto g3 2015 phone using TWRP recovery and somehow corrupted (deleted) the data partition. Now it says that the \data partition does not exist. Can't mount it or format it as it seems to have been deleted. How can I recover this partition? Can it be done through the TWRP recovery. If so how is this done. I have installed many other custom roms (Android 10) on this phone with no issues.

I'm planning on re-flashing my Moto G XT1031's custom ROM since some things with the ROM have borked.
As my thread's title question asks:
How do I do a "fresh" wipe or a "full" wipe of my Moto G for a clean install/flash/re-flash?
How do I go about this without losing TWRP?
And, apparently according to my friend I can re-flash via ADB. I've already got everything backed-up on my laptop.. Since obviously I won't be able to re-flash via TWRP after nuking my Moto G which would likely also nuke the ROM and gapps if I put those on my Moto G's internal storage.
You should be able to re-flash TWRP in fastboot.
You could use TWRP to do a full wipe of data, cache, Dalvik, system, and internal storage. Then use TWRP's mount function to copy the custom rom to the internal storage, and flash the rom.
While flashing a new ROM i mistakenly erased data while iwas trying to erase internal storage
i tried sideloading ressurection remix ROM it doesnt work, it says NO OS installed!
Please HELP!
Use fastboot commands to flash TWRP. You can then boot into twrp, mount the data partition, copy over the ROM using a USB cable, and flash the ROM.
I recently bought Redmi Note 7 , i installed twrp and flashed Orangefox recovery. I flashed CR DROID ROM ANDROID 10 , i got bootloop so i decided to wipe all the data and changing system , data and , cache partition to EX2 and changing it back to EX4, but suddenly i can't mount my internal storage , it appears in orange fox recovery , i can access my internal storage but i can't mount internal storage
when i flash rom it now boots in bootloader
i've been searching a forums related to this but all the guides do not work on this phone.
ps : the reason why it got bootloop is because i did not installed firmware update
Try going back to the original firmware that came with your phone, and then re installing the recovery
I have Redmi note 7 pro Indian Version with unlocked bootloader and PitchBlack Recovery. I installed Xaomi.eu beta 12.5 rom. Due to some reasons I wanted to change the some other Rom.
