When I use my desktop clock in full screen mode, I have white ribbon across the top of the screen. Very annoying at night. Is there anybody that can help?

I have recently replaced a broken screen of an apache with a new one and when i turn it on the screen turns on and is white, when I look at it side on I can see the devices screen is working but it is faded, e.g the today screen is there but very faded.
I was wondering what could be the problem?
I replaced my screen recently as well and had a similar issue. Make sure the ribbon cable coming off the screen is attached correctly - you'll need to raise the black bar on the connector, push the cable all the way in, and lower the bar to make full contact.

I can see the lock screen image and the phone unlocks but the home screen is black and blank. Icons of signal and wifi are also there but there are no tiles. When I touch the buttons I can feel vibration but nothing happens on the screen.
I looked all day today but couldn't find a solution.
Anyone had a similar problem?
Anyone else notice if u lock screen while still in landscape mode when u turn screen back on the image on lock screen has light grey bars on top and bottom..Just wondering if anyone else notice it and if anyone knows why it does it?

Some parts of my touch screen not working for few days. White dots are dysfunctional areas. I can't swipe notification panel etc.

The weird part is as you can see in the image, upper left border is not working, but when I'm in a phone call, I can use the green border for return back to the call.

So I hope it's not hardware issue.
Any help/suggestion will gladly appreciated.
Maybe thr screen protector is the reason?
When I touch the screen a blue or red circle appears where I touch. Sometimes this circle stays on the screen and the only way to get rid of it is to restart the phone. Anyone else experience this and what do you do to remedy it?
