Read the whole OP! Be respectful to each other and don't ask for ETAs, it's considered as being rude!
AOSP Extended is an AOSP based ROM which provides stock UI/UX experience with useful customizations. Being based on AOSP it provides a smooth experience. We have added useful customizations from various other open-source projects and have tried to keep our things simple. A ROM by a user, for a user. #BeExtended
#ExtendYourDevice Here are the Extensions! on top of AOSP! We are constantly trying to update the list. Our aim is not to provide all the features available on earth. We aim to add important features that we think should be here and also what you think. For the addition of more tweaks or features, head on to our Telegram community and post the list of features that you want! Features with commits will be more helpful!

Spoiler
-Why no "Incremental/Delta updates" Support?
->The updates we provide monthly are heavily changed and modified than the previous builds. New stuff is merged and added. So we don't provide incremental updates and recommend a clean flash.
-How do I root this ROM?
->We recommend Magisk
-Will this ROM relock the bootloader?
->No.
-When Will Be the Next Update?
->No ETAs, please. ROM Will be updated whenever the new build is ready by your maintainer. We generally provide monthly updates with the latest security patches and new features.
-Adaway is not working
->Download it from here Adaway
-SElinux Linux mode changer app is not working nor Busy Box installer app is working.
->Everything is good with the sources. You should try other things first and then contact your maintainer.

Double tap to wake has always been hit and miss on custom ROMs as far as I'm concerned. No issue so far with AOSP Extended but it'll probably fail sometimes too. Will see.
Very good ROM regardless!
Can someone link me to where I can download the latest oos firmwares ?
Great work from dev. My only issue is when you head to Settings > Extensions > Statusbar > Misc Extensions for the first time, the rounded corner antialiasing overlays suddenly disappear and become all jaggedy and that stuff, probably because of the corners setting down at the very bottom of that page. Might as well nuke it completely as our device already has moderately rounded corners and is fundamentally useless
This issue persists through reboots
Would also be great if there are any ways to solve this problem without formatting the entire device.
Logs if needed vvv
https://del.dog/yubivungom
Update 06-17-2021:
If you get this issue, untick Use framework values in misc extensions and run this from adb shell or rooted termux shell and corners will return to normal
Code:
settings put secure sysui_rounded_size -1

Here, 11.0.1.1 for both GM21AA and GM21BA
i couldnt install this rom. i am on dotOS. i used it's recovery but when i try to sideload i get status 1 error.
edit: i flashed with fastboot and it booted fine.
There's something that I don't know if it happens to anyone. When you block any app with the native applock (for example whatsapp, telegram or youtube), if you share a link on you browser, fingerprint disappears very quickly and doesn't let me to share. Thanks in advanced and amazing job.

Gotta say, you really have sharp eyes, it took me a while to understand what you were pointing out. Will drop that feature from next build. Thanks.

Ok glad you solved it, i'll include aex's recovery from next release, for easier flashing and also to make sure that OTAs don't mess up the recovery.
Can anyone activate VOLTE via PDC?
Wow, thank you so much @ishubhamsingh! AEX has always been one of my favorite ROMs, and so happy to see it here I did have have one request if there might be a way to add the option to the clock settings to be able to move the clock to the right of the statusbar, rather than just the default left. Additionally, not sure if I was doing something incorrectly, or if I was reading the description of the option properly. For the rounded edges everywhere, I set in the customization to 1 instead of the default framework values in hopes that notifications, the QS background edges, and possibly the search settings box would be square rather than rounded, but it didn't seem to change even after a reboot. Like I said, maybe I am confused if that setting does that.
Thanks again for everything, and bringing this awesome ROM to us!

regarding your issue on rounded edges, that option won't change anything related to UI/dialog corners—it's intended to add rounded corners on devices with little to no HW screen corner rounding (and also does nothing on our device since we already have a custom rounded corner overlay for that, dev will nuke it on next build). If you want to lower the UI corner radius, you can change the icon shape in customizations to square/squircle or use something like substratum overlays
if you're wondering if this rom uses sdcardfs or not, it doesn't, so flash non-sdcardfs kernels like Dora or Galt's Gulch
I would also like to add, since this rom uses the default perf+ kernel that OOS and lineage uses (both are sdcardfs-enabled ROMs), I've found it to cause issues that using a sdcardfs kernel on non-sdcardfs ROMs like:
storage usage in settings not properly counting files usage (stuck at 0.00GB all the time)
eventually getting my data corrupted when restoring a magisk patched boot.img with default kernel after having flashed a non-sdcardfs kernel
(maybe unrelated) weird issues arising when using f2fs depending on the recovery you format on, either you have completely broken write to sdcard (example: google's sound picker crashes when you try to download new sounds) or it straight up won't boot at all. So far haven't had any issues with ext4 at least using this TWRP to format and using a non-sdcardfs custom kernel
I would recommend inlining any of the non-sdcardfs kernels out there for future builds, because I'm kinda fearing i'd completely corrupt my data when flashing any of the new updates since I use fkm to flash my kernels and I'd have to boot with the rom default kernel momentarily after updating.

Thanks for the info, although i do remember i disabled sdcard fs in los kernel's defconfig. Also the storage count issue you mentioned, is it showing 0.00GB for all the files? since i am able to see the size count of images, apps, system and it is also showing the total count correctly for me, so i am bit confused if that's what you meant.

Well if you flash a kernel that has sdcardfs config enabled then it cannot read data properly. However that should only apply for custom kernels where the user flashes incorrect version.

About BlissPop
Bliss Roms is dedicated to creating one of the most highly customizable ROMs that one can find. For example, if there is a cool feature available we have it, or we are working on getting it. Team Bliss consists of experienced Android developers with a wide range of skills. With the combination of features we support and the experienced developers we have, this will create a truly blissful experience for all.
About me
I am android enthusiast quite happy to share my own build of BlissPop with the XDA community. I thought it would be a nice breath of fresh air in environment polluted with all those cooked Lollipop TW roms. I have successfully built other roms from source for my private use. All of them were available as nightlies or previews, officially supported by the devs (Slim, CM, AICP, Vanir, etc), so there was no need for me to post separate thread.
Why Bliss? I was very impressed by its speed and stability. And the fact that for the first time I have built a rom that is not officially supported for our device. I like the cool dark look as well.
About You
I am not a developer, just a wannabe and this is me doing rom for my personal use and sharing it with you guys. All props to Team Bliss. If you do not like it, thanks for trying and good luck elsewhere. There are much better supported roms out there. If you have nice feature from other rom, please give me a source (git, gerrit) and I may consider it. But I will not deviate too much from the original as I think it is already very feature-packed.
Standard Disclaimer
No one besides yourself is responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in the products you find here before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you. Your warranty will be void if you tamper with any part of your device / software. That said, I have tested this, and wouldn't post it here if I thought you would have issues from using it.

What about battery life? Every CM12 rom smokes the battery away like a small joint. What about this one?

I think this is specific to TW roms, correct me if I'm wrong. This rom will have all the features of all other AOSP roms combined. At this moment it is difficult to find rom as customisable as this one.
On other note: I had great first day of usage, battery flatlined during the night. Zero crashes/reboots. *pats himself on the back*
Hello. And first, as always, big thank you to the dev for the hard work. Now to my issue. I am performing a full wipe....3 factory resets back to back to back....then 3 wiles each of system, data, dalvik, and cache. When attempting to flash this rom however i am recieving a error within TWRP. I am, and have been running full lollipop roms previous. I cant remember the exact error message but could retrieve it if necessary. It is a red error that shows right after i swioe to flash.
I am on a 900t. Thankyou

There were lot of changes from CM in attempt to separate the international note from tmo one, due to nfc issues. This is probably the issue for you, your phone id doesn't correspond to international version. I will try to build tmo-specific one, I am just waiting for someone to ask.
Edit: I was right, getprop script asks for one of the following: SM-N9005, SM-N900S, SM-N900K, so basically your phone isn't recognised.
It was in one of the feature in cm11 and i dun use tw rom on the beginning of mine note 3. It was active display if i not wrong.

Yeah, so it seems. I'm sorry for that. You can use whatever package you like anyway. I just used most of the old thread template.
Fast, stable ROM.
Offers nearly every customization option you can think of!
I like it!
But how can I access Adaway? I see that it is installed but I cant find a way to open/enable it?

From my knowledge Adaway always had some issues with Lollipop. I don't use it so I don't know much.
Due to the fact that we don't have official support (yet), I can't do much regarding the ROM features. I applied as a maintainer a while ago and still waiting response. Until then I just used Google and found this.:

Hope I was of help.

Using adaway with this ROM w/ no trouble. There's no icon, but there's a settings option, either in Dev options or in Blisspop options. Click it and adaway will open, and choose top box, 'download files and apply blocking'.
Ah, thanks!
Found it in the Dev settings. This ROM has so much options that I just couldn't see it.
Thanks guys
I hope it won't take away Nutz Dual Recovery post installation?

Camera and Video works like charme.
But I have had big troubles after I postinstall the m5 kernel again for some new recovery options. I bricked My phone and got bootloop at Sony Logo with no recovery or flashmode. I managed it install a kernel via fastboot to install a rom. So My question. Witch kernel supports the build in cm recovery. No other recovery options so far. Only the stock cm recovery. Any idea?

I think so that there are recovery in m5 kernel. In this Rom only cm recovery.
For flashing recovery I always use the FOTA img for Z1c (= TWRP recovery) and flash it with the app Rashr.
Always works like a charm

The same issue occurs with Mx player too, on Resurrection Remix rom. I think it's a common CM bug. And the Camera on CM is absolutely average, and in low light is totally pathetic.
High time all Rom developers should collaborate on mind blowing common camera app that beats the sh*t out of OEM, can they?

Sultan-ized Resurrection Remix is a project which was started in 2016 initially on bacon that had a motive of providing people with builds based off sultanxda's sources for better battery and camera along with a touch of featured environment.
Your warranty is now void (or not). I am not responsible if your phone turns out into a high-tampered mutant or a brick to play lego with. Do some research if you don't have any experience in flashing ROMs as you will be needing it,apparently. You are choosing to flash my build yourself, I have not compelled you to flash it. If you ever say I am responsible for anything happening to your phone, I will just sit back and rejoice the new season of Game of Thrones.
Resurrection Remix ROM is based on Lineage OS, Slim, Omni and some original RR features which creates an awesome combination of performance, customization and power.
Almost every customization available out there is included in Resurrection Remix.

Folks coming from Android 8+
You might have to format /data completely (includes internal storage) to use nougat ROMs, due to new FS changes by google.
So basically, after a factory reset:
Lowkey85 said:
reboot to twrp --> format data --> yes --> reboot to twrp --> flash firmware 4.5.1, rr 7.1.2, gapps(optional).

If you're using f2fs and are having issues viewing /data in TWRP, flash arter97's twrp!
So I tried the following.
Format to f2fs in official twrp, flash oos with arter's kernel, encrypt with a pattern, reboot to twrp, decryption successful but /data is empty.
Boot into arter97 twrp , decryption successful - all OK.
Reboot to OOS and remove the password.
Clean flash my latest build without formatting data - boots and all OK
Boot to official twrp - not OK. Seems the way the kernel handles f2fs on first boots makes it impossible for official twrp to mount /data even if decryption is successful. You will need arter97's twrp.
DCI-P3 enabling module: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=73523028&postcount=401 No need as it's enabled in livedisplay settings.

Where are the extra alert slider options?
DroidFreak32 said:
Some notes about this update:
Due to a recent commit in the kernel by Sultanxda, the old commits enabling extra options for the alert slider no longer work.
I can always revert it to make it work but I don't want to cuz the main aim of this ROM is to be as close to his LOS + few extra stuff.
If someone could point me to new commits which would work on top of the new kernel, I will look into adding them. Until then I'm sorry.

No, i just use greenify and i greenify every app except of Whatsapp.
And i use the option to automatically deactivate mobile data, if the screen turns off.
I also deactivated underclocking with sultans patch.
Nothing else.
But i got this results with 06.22 build and i need to check now, if i get the same results with 07.09 build.

To deactivate undeclocking (only for OP3!):
https://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=24192
Greenify is on Playstore, but i also recommend to flash Magisk 13.0 and the Magisk Module "App Systemizer" to systemize greenify to get previleged permissions for greenify (activates greenify boost mode without xposed).
#update:
Oh, and i forgot to mention, that i uninstalled google play music app and deactivated Google App, because i don't use them and both apps are high battery drainers according gsam battery monitor app.
I also installed the magisk module "Enable Doze for GMS" to increase batterylife. Only disadvantage of this module is, that fast fingerprint unlock doesn't work with it.

Comes with Sultan's Snap Camera Mod with HDR and I also installed OOS Camera Port v8 without any other HAL enabling zips and HDR is functional.
Now this is a thread :good: happy to try out.
What firmware I should install ?
Does battery drain happen too in this ROM? Because it happen on sultan's LOS build. TY for bring it up this ROM. RR with Sultan's inside of it, amazing!

You tell...
FAQ:
Before using the ROM:
Q. Can I have an ETA for the next build?
A. Yes, just look here to see what day your device is built on.
Q. Does this ROM support custom kernels officially?
A. No. You can still use them, but discussion should go in the thread of the respective kernel. We don't offer support for bugs you might encounter while using them!
Q. Why doesn't this ROM support Xposed?
A. Xposed is a hack that is geared towards AOSP. Custom ROMs modify the framework a lot, so Xposed can cause a ton of issues on custom ROMs. Now it might work for you, however it is not to be discussed in this thread, and you should refrain from posting bug reports.
Q. Alright, but I still want to flash Xposed, so which version do I need to install?
A. Xposed is not yet released for android 10.
Flashing the ROM:
Q. What do I need to know before flashing?
A. Check the flashing instructions...
Q. Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A. Yes, however make a nandroid backup first as there is a chance of getting a bootloop or encountering bugs. Also bugs may only be reported on a clean flash.
Q. How do I 'dirty flash' builds?
A. Wipe the System, Cache and ART/Dalvik cache. Flash the ROM, GApps (only needed if you wipe the system), your preferred root solution and reboot. Or just use the OTA app to preform that task for you.
Q. How do I flash kernel builds?
A1. If it's a .img file, boot into TWRP and go to the install page in TWRP, in the bottom right corner select "install image", select the desired kernel, then select "boot" as the destination, then swipe to flash, then go back to the install screen and install your root method again, if you don't want to loose root and reboot.
A2. If it's a flashable ZIP, you can flash it together with a ROM update or separately. Go to the install page in TWRP, choose the kernel zip (or add it to the flash queue right after the ROM zip). Then add your root method to the queue if you don't want to loose root. Now swipe to flash and reboot afterwards.
Using the ROM:
Q. I installed a bad theme and now I'm getting a bootloop, how do I fix it?
A. In TWRP, flash the substratum rescue zip that's in the substratum folder on the internal storage.
Q. I'm having issues with WhatsApp, how do I fix it?
A. Read this
Q. Do I need to provide a logcat if I'm reporting a bug?
A. If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a logcat. (Note: Please just link the logcat from your GDrive, Dropbox, etc. and do not post the content here. Thanks.)
Q. How do I get a logcat, what type should I get and more questions that can conveniently be answered by my pre-determined answer?
A1. Read this thoroughly. Also, here's a good app for getting logs: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog (Root needed).
A2. If you are already rooted, you can use the built-in feature to make a logcat and provide that. Just look into the others section in the AICP Extras main page.
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android 10. You don't need to install any Add-ons, simply download the latest ROM and GApps, then follow the flashing instructions and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM Zipfile.
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup (or with any backup/restore app) as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug, restoring regular apps is fine though.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
Flashing Instructions
1. Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device.
2. Boot to recovery (Ofox Stable/ Pitch Black recommended).
3. Wipe the System, Cache, dalvik, vendor and Data (you might need to format the data partition!).
4. Flash the ROM Zipfile.
5. Flash the GApps (optional, needed for e.g. Google Playstore to work).
6. Flash FCRYPT (Optional)
7. Reboot your device.
8. Enjoy n Profit
The procedure may vary depending on many things please check tg group for latest updates and support.!

The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once! This might differ on AvB Devices.

With the re-brand of CM to LineageOS (LOS) we became LineageOS based with some tweaks from AOSP, for Android Pie we based on the "Ground Zero Open Source Project" (GZOSP), and now for Android 10 we are fully based on AOSP
Stucking on redmi logo
this happening because of gapps if u boot this rom without flashing gapps it works fine so ultimately this bug is in the ROM because same version of gapps works fine with other custom roms based on android 10 for this device.
and belive me without gapps this rom is of no use

As we know that build is free of cost for you but guys building ROMs needs building server so we have to pay every month $3 / ₹200 . And as a student it is quite difficult as it goes from our own savings. So it will be really appreciated if you donate us and help us to to keep regular updates on time and little donation or help will motivate us for more amazing updates for users.
NOTE: READ THIS CAREFULLY U WILL UNDERSTAND. As a student it's difficult.
GooglePay: [email protected]
PAYTM UPI: [email protected]
PAYPAL: https://www.paypal.me/uglykid24
A little donation or help can give someone motivation to work more hard and bring the best for u
Even a small amount will be appreciated Because frankly speaking that we all are running out of server and without server it means slow or delay in updates although there is server on some developers but they don't want share so we are trying to contribute and buy a powerful server.

Im curious too regarding the display OC, as someone who was part of the modding community of korean monitors way back when IPS/PLS panels wouldnt go beyond 60hz on even desktops, this isnt exactly a matter of if its working or not, but also if its ACTUALLY working. You need to do several ghost tests and see if you are losing any frames etc. Not to mention that you probably are pushing higher pixelclocks then intended, this can put alot of constraint and generate more heat of several components and will damage the display/components in the long run. If you or someone else more educated can chime in with their 2 cents or simple correct me if Im wrong, I´d appreciate it.
May I ask if this is a mod taken from something more established around the forum, preferably from a Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro (Tulip) project? If someone has proven it in the past with success, I would be less skeptical if there is any longterm tests/users of this out there
As far as the rom goes, I unlocked the bootloader, flashed twrp via fastboot, bypassed the forced encrypt after some trial and error and I did a complete clean wipe (system, data, cache, dalvik, which was all successful, no errors) and after booting for awhile after the kernel bootsplash (aka showing the OS bootanimation, which is really sleek btw! :good, It kicked me back to the recovery instead of booting into the OS...
I tried the exact same steps for Havoc OS from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-6-pro/development/rom-havoc-os-v3-0-t4000939 and it worked like a charm. Am I missing something here, should I have done something differently or might it be something on the development end?
Im reluctant to flash your new version until I get some more information regarding the display OC, but Im down to doing a backup since havoc works just fine and try again once someone has eased my mind. (Also: If it was my phone and not my gf, I would have just gone for it, Im a tinkerer at heart and I´d love to contribute to your project, but since my girlfriend is very dependent on her phone working, I´ll have to take a step back this time.
Btw, Its great to see Gcam Go as default camera among the changes, but may I purpose to atleast try it head to head against onFire´s 7.2.011 gcam apk from here: https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/dev-onfire/ (Fire_2nd_form_7.2.011.apk) and maybe implement that as default if the results is good? We took it for a workout yday and It works great from our testing. You can read more about it in this article: https://www.cyanogenmods.org/redmi-note-6-pro-gcam-7-2-60x-zoom/
Keep up the development & may the force be with you!

Hey bro!
Regarding display OC, it's a kernel tweak. It won't cause any heat. It never happened to me
It's strange that it kicked you back to the recovery. You followed the right steps. Can I ask to you which gapps did you flash with ROM?

Not to be rude, but that's like saying that hanging off a cliff won't cause any harm because it has not happened to you. Also, that's exactly my point, its a kernel tweak, its the core of the operating system, It´s where you do most of the low-level communication to tell the hardware what to do, so it's actually a terrible argument. I stand by my previous statements.
Well, for your rom, it clearly says that gapps are built in so I didnt flash any. For havoc I flashed the latest opengapps for arm64 and android 10 (micro).

I'm sorry for my answers. I said that never happened to me. Also many users are using this rom and they didn't report any issue to me. They say that's so smooth, doesn't heat and doesn't drain battery. That's why I said this.
By the way, I'll remove this feature on next build, because most people are worried and I understand all of them.
Regarding the gapps, it was a mistake on thread. Mostly, I use telegram to communicate with people, and there I said that I won't build the ROM with inbuilt gapps. For XDA, I took a thread, I copied and modified it, but this lines (gapps inbuilt) escaped me. My fault!
Anyway, this shouldn't cause problem on booting. That's strange that it kicked you to recovery.

So are you refering to this specific rom or the rom you built it on? Because I dont see any credits linked to it and also if thats the case, what have you exactly added/what is it based upon and whats your goal with this rom, simple a star wars theme or something else? Afterall, you posted this on XDA, so telegram is irrelavant to me.
To begin with make your thread from scratch is my advice or based on your own templates, Im not saying not take inspiration from other threads, but litterally dont copy and paste features that dont even exist...
Btw, Use xda's rule #12 spirit: If you are developing something that is based on someones work, ask them for permission and/or give them credit.
Also, this goes without saying, if you dont really know what you are doing, just leave it out preferably. I´ll try to flash it again when next update comes along
Take care!
Sorry for delay. I had network issues in these days.
