Flashing Instructions:-

1. Download TinyFastbootScript
2. Download the ROM named *Images*
3. Unpack TinyFastbootScript and the ROM into the same directory
4. Run the bat file for TinyFastbootScript
5. Choose latest fastboot version
6. Place device in bootloader mode
7. Run the command for flashing custom firmware
8. Done!

It does have a LED, it just isn't enabled by default.
The GApps is a standard package you will find on stock.

Unfortunately not. You can uninstall the apps with magisk.

As you're aware, OnePlus started Pie closed beta days ago, and there're already leaked builds. I made a new Lineage build with blobs from one OOS9.0 leak, installed and updated firmware. On first boot after fw update, when boot animation was done, unexpectedly, I didn't see my launcher desktop as usual, but an "Decryption unsuccessful" warning telling me that my data was corrupted. Undoubtedly, after rebooting to TWRP it failed to mount /data thus I lost everything on my internal storage.
After several experiments I finally figured out the cause:
If your data is encrypted and bootloader is unlocked, after upgrading to Pie modem firmware, there's 100% chance of your data to become corrupted, and probably no way to restore them. The cause is on firmware side, probably something wrong with key migration, so there's no way for 3rd party developers to fix it. Note that which ROM was in use pre-upgrade doesn't matter at all, i.e., if bootloader was unlocked and you were upgrading from OOS 5.0.8(enforce encryption by default) to OOS 9.0, you'll lose all personal data after reboot from recovery installation. Interestingly, everything works as expected if bootloader was locked.
I couldn't comprehend why do they apply diverse low-level strategies to locked and unlocked bootloader. Arguably this is a bug and should be fixed when they started rolling OTA updates to the public, but it's also possible that this is by design and aims to restrict "unsafe" operations. Regardless, always be careful and backup your data before upgrading firmware in the near future.

Unfortunately they still didn't fix the issue in the OxygenOS 9.0 Community Beta released hours ago, in contract their PR claimed "SW team is aware of this issue" during the early closed beta stage. Given the fact the issue persists in both public H2OS and OOS build, I highly doubt if they're actively working on fixing the issue or they'd even gaf. Ofc it's still possible but very unlikely for them to fix it in future builds.
Now I'd like to know your opinion on migrating to Pie firmware. Device owners with encrypted data and unlocked bootloader MUST either backup data or relock bootloader before installing new firmware, others are not affected. Please vote.

The same happened to me also. I'm encrypted on f2fs coming from OOS with a clean install.
@dianlujitao could you please add in the OP that it needs to be installed on an unencrypted phone - assuming that the reboot to recovery is caused by booting on an encrypted device.

Additional information about the recovery on this device:
First of all we should make the basics clear: On our Z3 Compact we have got a bootloader update which can boot a recovery from powered off state by pressing volume down and the power button. Because we haven't ever had this updated bootloader and not all sony devices received the update, there have been some intelligent people who brought a special init binary which can handle recovery boots during a normal boot. This means when using advanced reboot from the ROM or pressing a volume key while the sony logo appears at boot. https://github.com/LineageOS/android_device_sony_common/commits/lineage-16.0
To make this work there is this method to extract the ramdisk: https://github.com/LineageOS/androi...eage-16.0/extract_ramdisk/extract_ramdisk.cpp which uses zlib to decompress it. So far so good, zlib can decompress the default compression for recovery ramdisk which is gzip. However LZMA is more effective to reduce the size so we took it's advantage: https://github.com/omnirom/android_...mmit/885b01223a460d3f2500155ea415bdc8573679bc in order to fit recoverys compiled from recent environments (android-9.0 in my case) into our small FOTAKernel partition.
According to this change the init_sony can't handle the recovery boot anymore because it can't decompress the recovery's ramdisk so nailyk and Diewi (as far as i know) added support to decompress LZMA compressed ramdisk's with this chain: https://github.com/sonyxperiadev/device-sony-common-init/pull/20/commits
However these commits have never been merged into the LineageOS/android_device_sony_common nor the sonyxperiadev/device-sony-common-init. Since your ROM, CarbonROM, is using a fork of LineageOS/android_device_sony_common is missing these commits the recovery boot fails with a kernel panic, like this: https://del.dog/egawososux.htm
So you can either use a recovery which doesn't compress the ramdisk with LZMA (for example the one from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/z3-compact/development/recovery-twrp-3-2-3-0-aries-t3837192 or ask your ROM developer to pick the according commits into the sony_common tree/use my fork of LineageOS's one https://github.com/z3c-pie/android_...mits/fa85dfcc07f42d73f9a1abf1f4c82d8bf0486a93 which would enable you to use recent TWRP builds with a LZMA compressed ramdisk.

To be honestly I can't follow you. Do you mean that you don't know how to update the build? For this case you have to download manually and flash it in TWRP. There are no wipes needed.

Thanks for the ROM, I am using it right now, everything is working good except the camera. Can take photos, but video is not working. When I'm switching to video, the app is freezing and stuck. I tried to use the stock camera with magisk, it can't take photos or video neither. Tried manual camera too, it can take photos but no video.

Installation instructions
1. Install EU Q Stock Rom onto your phone , follow some tutorial you can find in this forum
2. boot twrp_universal.img by using "fastboot boot twrp_universal.img
3.Goto wipe -> format data -> type yes --> reboot bootloader --> redo step 2
4.Copy over the LIneageos zip and flash it with install button
5. reboot to bootloader once more and redo step 2 with the twrp_universal.img for Q
6.flash the mods like gapps and magisk u want using twrp

WOW, just WOW Josh. Thank you for your amazing work. I found the problem with GSI ROMs that Apps would just crash. I'm definetly going to try it on the weekend. Your contribution to the LG G7 community is just amazing, keep up the good work and I'm for sure waiting for Resurrection Remix
The status bar clicks to open dac and then returns to cancel.
I love the rom, the only issue I have is with screen blinking after unlock. Other than that, amazing. Keep up the good work!

define not full working QuadDAC please , do u mean the preferences in the settings ?
its a leftover from lg v30 where this dac panel comes from , u need kernel changes in order to have the settings working and i didnt include that yet for a good reason , bcs we use a prebuild kernel image the ones i build from source take way too long to boot up (10-15seconds vs like 2 minutes)
RayOS v2.0 for Samsung Galaxy A52Pretty straight forward, I took OneUI 3.1 firmware, debloated it and added a few features. But I mean very FEW features. Samsung didn't really disable a lot of things on the A52, I'm actually impressed.
I didn't really put a lot of effort into this, I don't think I'll keep it up to date because I am a very lazy person but who knows, stuff happens.
I will include the stock kernel for the newest security patches in the thread, because Samsung obviously tinkers with it and may include some improvements brought by Samsung themselves. Doubt you'll see custom kernels based on it until Samsung releases the source code (which sometimes takes up to 2 weeks).
Anyway, enjoy.

Instructions!
Add zip to either internal memory or SD card
Flash via custom recovery
Wait a few minutes, pay attention to the screen after 5 minutes, because it will ask you if you want to delete extra apps
(Recommended) Wipe data so you can begin with a clean installation
When installation is finished, just reboot to system
Total installation time can take up to 10 minutes

Extract RayOS ROM (in .xz format) with an unzip program and copy to internal or external SD card. (Warning: Do this step before even booting to custom recovery. This super img is about 6 GB of size and I believe custom recoveries have a size limit on files you can copy over MTP.)

Thanks for pointing that out, I will update the thread to show that it works on both SM-A525F and SM-A525M.
The [F] variant gets updated first, so I took it as a base. My phone is actually SM-A525M (I think this is the latin america variant) and the firmware and kernel work excellent, so there should not be any problem

First Custom rom for A52, Nice Jobs!
I have tested this rom, it may be not better than previous, there are still many bloatware and marketing ads. bug: adb die

I haven't updated it to latest security patch because well, there really isn't anything added other than "the security of your device has been improved".

Prequisites
TWRP or OrangeFox for Android 11 installed
Being unencrypted (recommended)
Instructions!
Add zip to either internal memory or SD card
Flash via custom recovery
Wait a few minutes, pay attention to the screen after 5 minutes, because it will ask you if you want to delete extra apps
(Recommended) Wipe data so you can begin with a clean installation
When installation is finished, just reboot to system
Total installation time can take up to 10 minutes
Spoiler: Instructions to install older versions
Extract RayOS ROM (in .xz format) with an unzip program and copy to internal or external SD card. (Warning: Do this step before even booting to custom recovery. This super img is about 6 GB of size and I believe custom recoveries have a size limit on files you can copy over MTP.)
Reboot to custom recovery
Install extracted ROM as "super" image in TWRP
Install stock kernel as boot (optional)
Reboot to Recovery
Format data if you are coming from Stock ROM.
Flash multidisabler (this is required always)
Flash Magisk v23.0+ zip or apk (required)
Reboot and wait patiently

If someone can help me, install "LineageOS 18.1 for A52 4G" and now I want to go back to RayOS v2.0, but when installing no boot, it locks up and only goes to recovery. I have to reinstall LineageOS, can someone help me what will be the problem?
In one place I see that they say install stock kernel, I don't know if that will be the problem, someone help me, thanks

You gotta go back to full stock first through Odin, then repeat the process to install RayOS.

Flashing Instructions:-

Make sure to wipe userdata
1. Download TinyFastbootScript
2. Download the ROM named *Images*
3. Unpack TinyFastbootScript and the ROM into the same directory
4. Run the bat file for TinyFastbootScript
5. Choose latest fastboot version
6. Place device in bootloader mode
7. Run the command for flashing custom firmware
8. Done!

Some people on Telegram have reported both sims working by flashing Evolution X, then flashing to los-modded 19 without wiping. Your results may vary though

HOW TO INSTAL MAGISK in this rom
1. download TWRP 3.5.2 and magisk 23.0
2. command <fastboot boot twrp.img> in bootloader mode
3. command <adb push magisk.zip /sdcard> in twrp
4. flash magisk.zip file
5. reboot to system
