[petition] I need the UBKPD (2.3.6) official rom

Hi people, i'm looking for the firmware UBKPD (2.3.6) wich is the one that is the update from UBKB1 (2.2.1) by kies in Argentina. I would like to get the official and unbranded, but in the official roms threads of sammobile or sampro.pl it didn't appear yet (like the XXKPQ in sammobile).
If anyone get it or if is possible to get it from Samsung i would be pleased.
On the other hand, if anyone can tell me if it's possible to extract it from a updated phone and to make a .tar file to flash to others it would be helpful also.

Hola,tambien soy de Argentina, pudiste conseguin el UBKPD para flashear desde la UBKB1? estoy con el firm 2.2.1 y el kies no reconoce un nuevo update, no tengo ni idea de esto, si me ayudas me haces un favorazo. Gracias

If you know someone who still has a device with 2.2.1 you can get the tar downloaded by kies. When you are upgrading your device kies downloads the .tar file and stores it in a temp folder (something like tmp**.tmp) in yuor user temp folder (C:\Users\*\AppData\Local\Temp if you are using Windows 7). You just need to copy that folder.
You have to copy that folder only the install process begins (not before) and you have to do it quickly because kies deletes it when the upgrade process is finished.
I suggest you to clean your temp folder before doing this in order to easly recognize the temp folder.

Thank you for you answer. I will try, but unfortunately Samsung has stopped the update with kies for no reason and althaugh you use 2.2.1 the update it is not available now.

No need of root
If you install custom rom then you don't need root as it always pre-rooted i recommend cm7.2

I was try to root my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 SM-T230NU (Wi-Fi only), but it got stuck at screen saying " Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again" .
I also used Kies for "Firmware Upgrade and initialization" after entering the model number and serial number, it takes me to next me next screen when I click on "Start upgrade" it download the firmware and then give a message "Cannot upgrade your device".
Please help to resolve this issue.

are you able to get into download mode? most likely will have to flash stock rom from there then.

i have the same proble since yesterday, but not, i cant enter in download mode because when i turn off the tablet and try to get download mode, turn on in the screen: firmware upgrade encountered an issue...... in the cases like cellphones, said that need to quit the battery, but in the tablets, how can i quit the battery??? at this moment is just turn on in the stuck screen to get die the battery and maybe, simulate like in the cellphones, quit the battery.
anybody else with the same problem?

Para apagar la tablet necesitas hacer la combinacion de teclas de encendido(power) y(+) vol -... ya hay 2 versiones nuevas de firmware para esta tablet pero la mia esta rooteada y los sistemas con raiz(root) no pueden actualizarse por la misma tablet o kies3, intentare por odin ya que consegui las nuevas actualizaciones en otra pagina, no te deja actualizar porque si rooteaste con vroot solo que no cambiaste la aplicacion por superuser o superSU

Edited a zip bootlogo of, but not worked, not now on more already tried to install stockrom but still in trouble same. Help.

I have the same problem black screen with my phone bricket or something i fixed with odin and firmware ZTO sm-j700MUB2ape1 (MM 6.0.1) from sam mobile it gonna be last firmware if you dont gonne flashed the last firmware you have sw chek failure 2 binary 1 and param.bin , sboot and bootloader fail i hate knox

amigo soy de méxico me paso el mismo problema con android 6.0.1 pero lo solucione, primero instale en mi pc un programa que se llama smart switch de samsung es:
samsung.com/mx/support/smartswitch/
y vas a seguir los pasos de este video por que ya una vez instalado el programa lo usaras y el ara toda la magia:

y quedará listo, probado en un samsung SM-J700M
