First go to fastboot mode and then connect your phone with original mi usb cable(must n should original cable reqired) please check your pc weather phone is detected or not.if not connected then check device manager in pc and check if there any warning signs found on your driver or not. And also check in mi flash.,there is an option to install driver/check drivers.please install that if you didn"t install.

[Q] Disabling MTP Mode and enabling USB Debugging while Phone is Off

Dear Experts,
I Unlocked the Bootloader of My Xperia L using the official Sony way. But after the successful unlocking the Phone is not booting at all. It gets stuck at the Xperia colour theme loading... I gone through various posts and found a solution that I have to Flash my phone using flashtools.
Now I instaled flashtools as well as the required drivers. However when I do the flashing in flash mode, the device disconnects automatically and flashtools says that "make sure you are not in MTP mode". I remember that My phone was in MTP mode when i was unlocking the bootloader and the USB debugging was always on... Now after unlocking bootloader the USB Debugging is showing as off (can be seen in the attached file)
After reading couple more posts about MTP ... I understand that I can't successfully flash unless the phone is out of MTP mode, and USB debugging is on. As my mobile is not booting, I can not go to the settings and tick or untick any of the two.
Please help me with a way to do it. I am attaching a screen print of the flashtools for Ref....
It will be a great relief to me....
Thanks in Advance...

Every Time I connect the phone in flash mode. once it starts flashing process, the phone automatically disconnects and comes on in normal mode.

how to connect in flashmode without using the buttons?im stock in sony logo and i need to turn on usb debugging to use flashtool
1, the adb drivers aren't installed correctly in your pc
2, don't worry about usb debugging
Just connect the phone to the computer in flash mode by pressing vol down and then plug-in the usb cable to your phone.
Flash tool will recognise it automatically if the drivers are installed correctly
3, then reinstall the stock ROM with flash tool
That's it
You said your device is being disconnected while flashing so
When you start flashing from flash tool start the flashing process
(Without connecting the phone to pc)
After the FTF is extracted flash tool will ask to connect the device
Then just connect your device in flash mode

Hello,
Do you know how to install fastboot or flash mode drivers in Windows 10? Also, the flashtool for me is stuck on "please wait until the end of process", how to make it work?
Note: My device gets recognized in ADB when booted up, but does not when in fastboot or flashmode. (Plugging in cable while pressing vol. down)

the drivers will be on the flash tool folder just open the app then tick drivers for Xperia L (thoshan) and general fast boot drivers.
and use the latest flash tool if you can ( Now I am using a Mac so I have a flash tool which was made for apple. but I used to flash my phone using windows and this is the version of the flash tool "flashtool-0.9.18.5" and this worked fine for me ).
if anything else is needed just reply

Infinix HOT 3 X-554 , encryption unsuccessful after updating recovery with fastboot

Hello,
I need help regarding the INFINIX HOT 3 X-554
I downloaded the phone's custom TWRP recovery (I can't post the link but I got the recovery from androidhq254), and put the phone in fastboot (download) mode, then flashed the recovery image using the following command (fastboot)
fastboot flash recovery recovery.imgThe process was successful , but when I rebooted the device, I got to the encryption unsuccessful screen with a reset phone button. Pressing this button reboots the phone but it only shows the infinix logo and nothing else.
What I have tried.
Tried the Volume down and power combinations to boot into recovery with no avail ( stays at the infinix logo forever)
Tried detecting the device using fastboot and adb and can't see it (while its in the encryption unsuccessful, screen)
Tried using SPFlash tool on 2 PCs (win8.1 and 7) to no avail. (using original USB cable)
Help
I don't understand why I can't get into recovery in this phone, any help in getting the recovery up, or any hacks or tips are appreciated.
I think that the device is still "great" as it charges and indicates that when powered off and connected to charger or cable, so I am positive this is not a brick
Note
The phone charges normally when connected to charger or USB
I had never booted into the stock recovery
USB debugging was enabled when I did the fastboot flash recovery command
I did install VCOMM drivers on the two PCS I tested with, but SPFlash tool never saw my device, (I followed instructions to turn the phone off, play with removing and inserting the battery etc.)

Stuck at logo/Bootloop with locked bootloader

My Redmi Note 6 Pro Global version just rebooted itself out of nowhere and now its showing MI logo and rebooting every 3-5 seconds. I didn't unlock bootloader and had MIUI 10 latest stable version installed. I can still enter fastboot mode. What can I do to fix this?
UPDATE
Over the last few days, these are the things that I've tried:
I can enter Fastboot mode and connect to my PC, but can't enter recovery mode.
I was able to unlock my bootloader (I was in the process of waiting for the 360 hours)
I tried flashing fastboot rom with MiFlash, but when MiFlash causes phone to reboot towards the end of flashing, the bootlooping problem occurs again and it cannot complete flashing.
I also tried flashing TWRP from fastboot, it says that it's successful, but when I try fastboot boot twrp.img, the same problem: MI logo and constant reboots.
I also tried to use fastboot oem edl mode and my phone is recognized as Qualcomm device, but MiFlash can't flash in this mode, saying that hello packet is not received.
At this point, I don't know what else to do and wondering if this is a hardware problem. Any ideas?
Did you tried to press VOL UP + POWER BUTTON after you flash TWRP? If flashing TWRP doesn't work Try to flash Official MIUI RECOVERY 3.0 That's all you can do. Otherwise you should give it to Mi customer service for faster solution.
I have the same problem, did you manage to solve this issue?
hello guys,
here is a solution, open your phone backpart and put your phone to edl mode by testpoint pinout,
then try to flash latest stable rom if fail then flash latest dev rom.

Hello All i have the same problem stuck on MI logo
I have tried to wipe through Mi recovery but no use

Please help
Try another flash tool i.e. Qfil_flash_tool
Hi, I have even tried EDL mode to flash latest rom (android 9,miui11.0.4) using Mi flash tool, still facing the same issue.
It constantly reboots while on charging, and it doesn't turn on otherwise(2 Sec of that logo and then it fades away).
Please Help
any one find solution for this?
Hi, my problem is simpler, so is there any suggestion.
after last official update, due to the internal partition was encrypted, update wasn't finished and I am stuck on MI logo when restarted the phone.
bootloader is unlocked and I can enter to (orangefox) recovery, yet I am not sure what is the best way just to return phone to the bootable state? I presume some wiping is to be done, which is not the problem, just to have as short procedure as possible, preferably without need to re-flash clean ROM from recovery?
regards

Hi, i'm in the same situation as you. How did you solve it? with the miunlock app I can't unlock it because it tells me that I have to select something on the phone first, but if the phone doesn't start I can't select anything ..
Try to remove hardware buttons from board and try
redmi 6 pro (bootloader locked)
same problem...
tried methods :
1) using mi flah tool ( error occurred : )
2) edl method (showing: device is locked)
........still stuck on miui logo .........

Redmi 6 continuously vibrate after install wrong recovery

I have try lot of thing to boot redmi in fastboot but it's only on long vibration while screen stuck on black as not boot.
when i attach it with my pc windows detect it but on next moment its disconnected ,
miui flash pro show no device connected
Remove battery and boot fastboot mode, if that doesn't work use this https://github.com/MTK-bypass/bypass_utility and use SPFlash to flash stock rom
Spflashtool+mtk driver+python+mct mtk+ fastboot rom
100% solved insyaAllah

can you get into fastboot? if so, you will probably have to start over. choose the right carrier. if you don't know it or aren't 100% sure, select other. You could also try this one.

The standard things to try when the device is not recognized are:
1. Update drivers
2. Make sure you are using the latest version of platform tools from https://developer.android.com/studio/releases/platform-tools
3. Try different USB ports and cables, preferably USB 2.0. USB 3.0 may not work.
4. Try a different PC.
Are you using "fastboot devices" to detect the device? "adb devices" does not work in fastboot mode.
