Nobody knows if the model G930-F can be used in some way also in dual sim modality?

Single SIM version has no SIM-2 pins present. So can't convert it to Dual SIM version by flashing a different firmware. But the opposite can be done I guess.

So, is there no hope? Are you sure that 930F model hasn't SIM-2 pins?
Do you think the differenze between F and FD models could be in the phone and not in the slot?
I don't need the Dual SIM but would like to have Indian language pack and other Stuff on the S7. Becasue it's a gift for someone and i bought it in Europe.

So, if I insert the slot of FD model in a F model, do you think F model will work with two sims??

Nope. If it's just that why didn't Samsung sell all the phones with a DUAL SIM capability. FD versions have the pins for the SIM-2 where F doesn't have it.

Honor 8 - FRD-L02C432 < India & Europe ?!?!

Hello everybody. I am from Europe (Bulgaria) and I am going to buy Huawei Honor 8. I found a guy who bought Honor 8 from his mobile vendor (Telenor if it matters) and now he is selling it but the strange thing is that the model of his phone is actually for India. FRD-L02C432. I know it sounds strange because the phone model is for India (L02) but the build number is for the European region (C432). Do you think it is a good idea to buy this phone? I need a suggestion.
PS: Another bulgarian person bought Honor 8 from Telenor BG and he also got L02C432 and he is stuck to Android MM.
Is there Nougat update for this specific model?
LXX in Huawei does not specify regions, it does specify the number of production series. L02 would mean it was in the second batch produced, nothing to worry about.

There is no logic in your words. So L19 which is the european model with 64 gigs means it is the 19th batch produced, isnt it?

You asked, I answered. Sorry, you don't like it. Ask Huawei directly if they even care to answer your adolescent question buddy.
L02 definitely does not stand for "For India ONLY", that's for sure.

Well, sorry then. Be happy.
Pretty sure it is for region not batch number and I have yet to see anything else.
There seem to be only assumptions about this though, as far as I know.

LXX is indication for the number and kinds of bands the phone supports. It might be region-related but not necessarily. https://www.frequencycheck.com/comp...nor-8-standard-edition-dual-sim-lte-a-frd-l09
That would definitely add to the confusion. I'm assuming C432 is the region code then. That doesn't make sense then though since the supported bands differ depending on region only.
Well i guess they do lol.
Huawei isn't exactly very straight-forward in their naming process.

Here you have the specs for L02.
Your Firmware is European.
Note:
1. L02 has nothing to do with India. Yes it's the only selled Honor 8 in India but has nothing to do with the country. It's because the frequencys of the signals is compatible in india.
2. Your device COULD be debranded. Check online with your serial number if it is a L02. (Maybe there's a webpage that does that)

I found a B380 FullOTA update for the L02C432 in the Firmware Finder app. I am not sure if it works, though. I have my phone from carrier in Slovakia.I hope the update comes soon officialy.

moving to another carrier, what about future firmware updates?

I'm moving my SM-920V from Verizon to Tmobile. My baseband version is currently specific to Verizon so when I switch will my future firmware updates be coming from Tmobile and will the baseband version change to reflect Tmobile?
I guess what I'm confused about is if I were to manually download and install a future firmware would I be looking for one that is Tmobile branded for my phone?

if you are going to change just sim card then you will never get updates from tmobile but if you change your cell phone to tmobile variant then you will get them.

That is what I was mainly wondering. So it sounds like it is safe to download the tmobile firmware for my model of S6 and install that firmware when I move to Tmobile? Or did you mean if I change out my actual phone (hardware) to a Tmobile variant?

I found sammobile but you have to pay for the download of the firmware, is there another source that doesn't have a thousand click bait ads?

Thanks, while it's downloading, I'll give it the good college try to try to find a current version online too but so many places are full of clickbait links that they're worthless.
I would *consider* signing up with sammobile but I hate to give any cc info out to online places like that.

I would recommend downloading from SamMobile. As they are the most reliable source out there for downloading Samsung firmware. Here is a direct link to where you can download firmware for your phone.
Yes, it was there, but not for my model, and the question is whether the others roms are compatible ?!
