Since the last update, the IP of the network changes every time I turn on the hotspot.
It is possible to set the network's IP of the hotspot?

I've two WiFi set in my house.
WiFi 1 in channel 13 and WiFi 1 in channel 6. Each router is separated, both have same SSID, encryption, security password, etc..
On my nexus 5 I've no problem, phone switches to the best signal in range router automatically. One plus one just connecting to channel 6 router but not working with channel 13 one.. I've tried changing WiFi region to USA but no luck.
I enter WiFi passphrase and it tries to connect so fast I can't even read text. Then it's says "saved secured with wpa2". I've already tried to forgot WiFi, reboot device, etc..but no luck.
Any idea?
Changing the Wi-Fi setting to USA would make it NOT connect to channel 13. It would only connect to channels 1-11.
Try changing the country to one that supports channel 13 or just change your router's Wi-Fi channel to a USA supported channel.
I am running the latest stable cataclysm and have uverse home internet. I can use the search for business lookup when I'm on data and work WiFi but it won't work on my home uverse. Are there any settings I should look for to change NAT or IP?
Well I figured it out. The new router that was supplied to me by uverse had ipv6 enabled by default. After switching to ipv4 I had no more issues.
Hi,
i use 'Private internet access' VPN. It often disconnects though. So i added a L2TP/IPSec PSK VPN manually.
It disconnects when i switch between Wifi and mobile Internet. So I want to use Always-On VPN.
Does MIUI 9.6.4 with 7.1.2 Android have an Always-On VPN feature? I can't find it.
If not, can i solve this problem with another app? My phone is rooted.
Thanks
I have my OP7P (GM1917) on Verizon for 3 months running on Oxygen 9.5, everything was working fine. today i decided to upgrade to Oxygen OS 10.0.GM21BA and was successfully upgraded.
I am experiencing an issue with tethering after the upgrade to android 10, where USB tethering only gives me an IPv6 interface to use, IPv4 addresses is not assigned automatically, so i need to manually configure in Windows 10 a static IP in the 192.168.42 range and set 192.168.42.129 as the gateway.
WiFi tethering works fine.

How are you tethering wifi? My op7pro doesn;t want to do it
Try adding these lines to buildprop and reboot.
ro.tether.disabled=false
ro.bluetoothtether.disabled=false
net.tethering.nonprovisioning=true
net.bluetoothtethering.nonprovisioning=true
Don't you have any network with the same ip range assigned? I tested on Linux with OP7 Global and I am getting ipv4 automatically without any problems. Or, perhaps something is blocked on Verizon's version to prevent usb tethering

I was having that issue last night and I added those lines, and added rdnis to APN type, and USB tethering started working although I don't get the notification in my status bar, but in my notification drop-down menu. What kind of error message are you getting when you try to connect USB tethering.
I just received and installed the latest release (00WW_4.15C) and by default it chooses a random MAC address. As my router is using static DHCP based on MAC, I had no wifi connection, I had to reset the settings... it is SSID based, so for my home network I keep the real MAC, but all others still use random MAC.
You can disable Android's MAC randomisation in every Wifi network's "advanced" settings section.
