[Completed] Coolpad Y82-820 Help

Hi all!
I'm new here, so please instruct me if I'm doing anything wrong.
I have a Coolpad Y82-820. It's a Chinese phone, I think.
I'm in the process of getting it rooted. ---- Was rooted before, but an update on their side (to CoolUI V24. [phone model#]. 160407) removed the root and now makes it a bit difficult to root at the moment, though I'm sure it will be done eventually.
Once rooted, I don't really mind waiting, I would like to put a Custom Rom on this phone, but not sure what options are available. I see posts about the Coolpad Note/Dazen/Shine/Rogues etc. Though nothing about this one, though spec wise it's not too far off from the others.
I'd be grateful if anyone could help with confirmations, information, on how to select a correct custom rom for this device and the steps to do. Also if there's any info on how to root this current version, even better.

I also did some research and found its a mediatek Mt6592T on a k960 board. besides that I dont know what base phone to select to install twrp.
I have gone to the twrp website and want to install 3.0.2-0 but it comes to a page where I have to select a phone brand.
My question is, which brand is compatible with an no name chinese tablet? thank you.
I also managed to root this with android root. just in case anyone else have the same table. thanks again if anyone can direct me to the right twrp exe for this device.

[Completed] Can anyone help me with finding MCU firmware

I have looked all over the net for an update on my firmware my Bluetooth has stopped working and I have no use just for just a big screen

[Clone] Samsung S8+ clone by Chinaecarts

Dear Members!
I just bought a Clone S8+ from chinaecarts.
This one: chinaecarts dot com / samsung-galaxy-s8-plus-clone-62-inch-screen-android-71-snapdragon-835-cpu-6gb-ram-64gb-128gb-16mp-camera-p-7649 dot html - (spam protection ofc )
It came with a custom 7.0 Android, but it's nearly useless because it's keep spamming ads when I start apps and absolutely unable to sync with any google account, like the most of the chinese market phones.
Is there any solution to wipe and change the rom on it?
I don't know anything about the hardware configuration, i guess it's a kind of MediaTek ****, but I have no clue which model of it.
If anyone have any experience of this clone, please let me know.

You can root it.Hovatek has a howto.Google it.Then use Titanium Backup to remove all add apps.

[PX5][MTCD] Octa Core Android 6.0.1 MCU Update

Hello developers,
i own for a while now a MTCD Android Head Unit with the following specs:
Model: A-Media AUTO (1024x600 W)
Android: 6.0.1
MCU Version: MTCD_GS_V2.32_1 (4th March 2017)
Kernel-Version: 3.10.0 [email protected] #390 (3rd March 2017)
Build-Number: px5-userdebug 6.0.1 MXC89L user.hct.20170304.091130 test-keys
The device had from new a few issues:
the device works perfectly after a cold start (after it was minimum 3-4 hours OFF): it is very fast, very responsive. Everything works, from W-Lan to Bluetooth, GPS etc. BUT after 1-2 hours it becames very unresponsive, very slow, the GPS signal is very unstable, and the W-lan connection disappears and reappears every 10 to 20 seconds. A force restart does not help. The only thing that helps is shutting it down, and wait a longer time.
Altough i am suspecting a CPU Temperature issue, I tought I will give a firmware update a try. But im am not very familiar with the MTCD devices, and i would like to ask for your help:
- How can I find if there is a update available for my device, and if so, how can i be sure that it is compatible with my device?

Thanks for your fast reply. I have found the updates I need. (MCU Update + Android Update) and installed them without any problems today. I will test the unit for 1 week, and than share with you if the problems that I mentioned in my other post are gone.
For the other users that have the same problem here are the updates needed for the MTCD_GS_V2.32_1
