I just uninstalled the chrome updates, back to normal.
I am very sick and tired searching solution to this ridiculous change and hours later find out google removed the flag options. So i reverted back to
{

And its hard to post up with all this garbage showing on xda

Hey
Both google mobile and google PDA version do not look anything like this on my XDA IIi or XDA Mini S:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
What address is that page at? Does it even exist?
Thanks
cya
the picture is most likely meant to display http://www.google.com/xhtml
no, mine doesn't look like that still. I have tried all three layout options in PIE as well... nevermind
Did you tweak you PIE at some point to change it's string so it will identify as regular explorer?
That could be the reason.
No, I use pocket IE plus which lets you change it back on the fly. It's not that either. Can I ask if it works for you guys?
Thanks
Works for me. I get it when I enter www.google.com in regular PIE.

That one.
why dont you flash his roms and save it to your sd? or maybe just pm him..or better yet join in on his threads and the wallpaper has been linked..silly guy
This is just a startup screen(with label),but with TF you don't see it.
I'm pretty sure I've seen the blank wallpaper in the stickied wallpaper thread in the Diamond theme forum. Anyway, that thread is definitely worth a looksie.
bah! this thread keeps coming up whenever I search for the wallpaper! lol
Would you happen to be looking for something like this,
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
?
The second result works for me in THIS search (hint: searched for background fuzeberry). HERE is the thread. See below quoted post for link to wallpaper (370x493)

Here is what happens when long pressing on a link in the browser in order to see the URL:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
The text is so ridiculously huge that it cuts off 90% of the useful part, even when viewed in landscape.
Is there any way to hack/modify the browser so that more of the URL is visible when long-pressing on a link? (Smaller font, and/or additional rows)
I was thinking of tweeting wysie but doubt he'd respond.
Try sending him a pm on xda, he will more than likely respond he's a cool guy
Alright, took your suggestion and PM'd Wysie. Here's what he said:
Hi Paul,
Actually I only made the full-screen and the hiding of zoom controls. The rest of the mods were probably done by @optedoblivion, you might want to check with him as well?
I'll look at your suggestion and see what I can do, no guarantees tho, been quite busy .
Thanks!

Doh. I'll see about PM'ing optedoblivion somehow...
omg look at my xda...what's wrong with it? it was ok last night but now its all messed up. All the other sites are normal except XDA. It just the XDA that looks like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I have the same problem
XDA is ok, just refresh the browser or Check your PC cookies.
NOthing.... Just try reloading the page, or switch to IE 9...

Lol, IE.
@OP, do you have the HTTPS Everywhere extension installed? That caused issues for me on certain pages, I disabled it and all pages started working fine.

A new icon has started popping up in the status bar on my SGS 6 (UK) since the recent update:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
It only appears when I open Chrome, Flipboard or Facebook and is persistant for some time after the apps are closed (even if I kill the processes).
Can anyone shed some light on this please?

Yeap, WiFi calling.
I should have clarified that it happens when I am not on wifi as well. I also can't figure why it would be active in an app like Flipboard that is not in anyway a communication app.
Gonna clear and hard reset my device in case as this seems to me a little suspicious.
There is an option to turn it on or off in the notification center.
I dont have that option on my notification but it is the right icon so at least I know what it is.
Thanks for the advice guys í ½í¸€
