TWRP doesn't, but unlocking your Bootloader to get TWRP on your phone does. To hide the unlocked Bootloader state, your Kernel needs to be patched. Most custom Kernels are patched for this reason and hide the Bootloader state.
There are other things that might cause safetynet to fail. Older Root methods like the LOS SU Addon, or selinux being in 'Permissive' mode.
Magisk Hide is usually the cure for most safetynet problems.

As @Dirk clearly stated it depends on your kernel.

Relock Bootloader with Non-MIUI ROM

Hello, not sure if someone has asked the same question before but is it possible to relock the bootloader with a custom ROM and not MIUI official ROM?
The main reason behind the question is I want a pure pixel experience ROM and due to an unlocked bootloader and root, I can't use some banking and company apps even with MagiskHide so I'm thinking of relocking the bootloader and unroot and at the same time maintaining the custom ROM.
I'm using a Pixel Experience ROM btw.
Thank you.

Afaik not possible..i mean if u lock bootloader on any custom rom or even official with modifications u will stuck at bootlooop. dm verity
As far as I know, relock the bootloader is not possible.
However, it's possible to hide the bootloader unlock status without installing magisk. For example, xiaomi.eu's ROM hides it, and SafetyNet passes without magisk. But I don't know how to do this.
Which version of magisk are you using, it should be better with hiding stuff in the latest verison

Thank you, I am using Magisk 18. Some of my apps still force me to close even after I added it in MagiskHide.

You dont have to do anything. Simply Install their Rom and IT will Work directly. Used Banking Apps etc without a Problem on their Rom

I've found with a few apps that I had to turn off USB debugging as well, before it would let me use them. Maybe give that a try.

Install TWRP without unlocking bootloader for backup

Hi,
is there any option to install TWRP for eventual backup before root? Its my only question. I want to save my Widevine L1 (dont want to unlock bootloader cause it transfer my phone to Widevine L3). Thanks for support and sorry if it's nonsense

Question Does widevine L1 work with a custom recovery?

I couldn't find any informations about this.
When does it switch to widevine L3? After installing a custom recovery or after installing a custom rom? I want to install TWRP on my Samsung Galaxy S9+ but don't want to risk to get widevine L3.

Need help with Missing Waveline L1

Hello, I did Rooted my OnePlus 7pro last month after the latest update & security patch.
I did unlocked bootloader and did the patched image with fastboot. Installed magisk and did something based on search result from xdaforum to fix missing Waveline L1 issue,
But now yesterday I found that none of streaming service is able to play hd content with "DRM_SCHEME_NOT_SUPPORTED" error in all downloaded files. I've been trying to fix the issue without wiping the whole device with no success. If anyone able to fix it without reflashing/wiping please help
Unlocking the bootloader will end in getting widevine L3, but with any Open Beta or the lastest stable from OOS11 we get widevine L1 with unlocked bootloader and root, also we can get it in custom roms using the mentioned stock roms as base.

The method to get root doesn't matter, and you don't need to worry about getting your device bricked for installing any update just keep in mind that for rooted devices is mandatory to install full OTA and not the incremental OTA.
After installing the update don't reboot and go to magisk and select install>install to the inactive slot to keep root
