I was used to Viper4Android and Boeffla-Sound audio engine and I can tell you that the sound of the Mate 7 is really good !
I have just activat the DTS under Audio preferences in order to use the DSP, in Poweramp I have unselected the direct audio control under advanced preferences and tuned an equaliser to my taste for each of my IEM's collection.
The Mate 7 DSP
IEM's with really good result on the Mate 7 that I have tested :
InEar SD3
SONY XBA-H3
Sennheiser IE-80
Sony XBA-4
The Mate 7 is a great device in many aspect

I agree with you, on the Mate 7 I have only activated the DTS and used a slight equalizing in Poweramp, depending on which IEM I use.

dolby atmos on s8+ Exynos

hello, is it possible to port the dolby atmos with snapdragon on exynos?
thanks for the answer
Yes, search for viper4arise. It also includes a Dolby Atmos module, although I like the Viper app itself more.
you do not understand me correctly, I want it from the Samsung because many optimizations come from the developer, for example, when I had a stock to 4 note, the sound was much nicer than on a custom with the same mod, eventually after the mod set the positioning was lost altogether

best sound mod for mido ( miui and stock roms - oreo)

Hi everyone. Wenn I brows through the forum, I never finded setting or mods for audio by mido.

Can you help out in flashing all these??

I have installed Viper through Magisk and is working flawlessly! I am on RR Remix 8.1.0 by Endless!
Maybe it's late, but I still come with a recommendation--poweramp is the best choice for you.
I 've tried dolby, viperfx, audiofx, ainur, mi sound enhancer and so on, among which viperfx and mi sound enhancer(in miui) are the best ones.
But I have to say that they cause the quality of sound a little bad, and if you don't care much about the details of sound, you can try them.
The reason why I recommend poweramp is that poweramp hardly ever affect the quality of sound even if you set maximum bass and treble.

Yeah that's true but Poweramp is not Oreo friendly for now, it's unstable and the notification controls are useless. It's my favourite music player but it's painful to use in Oreo ROMs.
Miui + Ainur + Dirac sound best to me.
Where can I download dirac sound?
OH ye, dirac is in miui included. Od course. Best for us. Download links. Extra for Miui and for Oreo roms (stock). Please.

As mentioned on the tittle, can any kind developer in here tinker some Dolby Atmos for Magisk for our beloved OP6? Because the EQ on the Audio Tuner is pretty lame.

Dolby Debloat?

Just wanted to know if it's worth debloating Dolby before installing narsil/viper?
Yes, and it is best to debloat Dolby and install this application to fully control Dolby Atmos and even disable it - Dolby Atmos APK

So if i've debloated Dolby why would i install this particular dolby apk?
The system Dolby had only 4 ready settings to choose, this application is a full equalizer, and additionally allows you to completly turn off Dolby, and it seems to me that debloat did not turn Dolby off, but turned off the settings panel.
Besides, in my opinion Dolby controlled by this app works better than Viper, it is not a system application, you can uninstall it at any time, so it's worth checking it out.

"This app works better than Viper". You can't even compare them since they have completely different sound processing possibilities. Viper is much more advanced and has many sound processing options to adjust/choose from (including correction files for headphones "VDC"). Dolby is just Dolby, nothing much apart from it.

As I said, it's just my opinion, personally I prefer Dolby more than Viper, That's all.
Thanks, it's easier to use than viper
