[Question] Why Poco X2 heats more?

Hi,
I have Poco X2 and been using it for more than a month. I notice more temperatures even when not gaming and I saw some people got temperature warnings while using camera for more time. Realme X2 and Poco X2 have same chipsets but i see realme phone doesnt gets heat even while gaming and this poco also has LIQUID COOLING(whats the point of it). Is this software or hardware issue?. Can I believe that this issue be fixed after good software update?
It's one or two cases my phone never heats up, i play pubg on hdr settings (taking advantage of hdr display) and its warm to touch but never reached uncomfortable levels.

Question What is better Arrow Os or PE+ in Battery performance SOT ?

I have Poco X3 Pro and want install custom ROM because of battery performance on MIUI. I game in Genshin impact and want best performance and great battery. Which Rom is the best Arrow Os or PE+ ? Which works with NGK kernel for Poco X3 Pro ?
Which kernel is better NGK or LYB ?
So What did you choose, i'm literally in your case rn, i'm also playing g i, so i'm still confused,
I'm heavy player so i'm searching for best performance with more stability, long battery life etc.
Or if there's other better options
-last question do i have to update for 12.5.9 first or something i still at 12.0.7-
Arrow os 12.1 will be best for performance as it comes with minimal customization and latest version has game space for gamers.

Question Best firmware for Poco X3 Pro as a gaming/retro emulation device

Hello folks,
Have a spare Poco X3 Pro that I am not using as a phone, so I'd like to turn it into a gaming/retro emulation device by attaching a GameSir X2 controller.
Anyone can recommend a gaming-focused custom firmware?
My current choice is ArrowOS 12 + NGK with flight mode permanently enabled, but I imagine all the phone/communications related services are still there in the background consuming resources unnecessarily.
Is there a custom firmware that is designed to turn a phone into a pure emulation/gaming device?
Cheers
unlikely, even custom ROM devs pack Xiaomi provided firmware into their release.

yes you can do this but you need to do stuff first
use arrowos vanilla not gapps (cause gapps drain battery and performance)
set ngk kernel to performance
set background procceses to 1 in dev options so nothing is in background while you play

what version of firmware you use for this rom?
i think the best for gaming is a undervolt you want lower temps for not losing fps, im in mui becuase i byched the unloker of the bootloder i need to wait one week more. but i put the low energy profile and play two hour of a psp game in 4x with all high and sahder with not losing performance because the thermal throttling. Having a high antutu score dont help in long game secession. I guess i would experiment with the bare mininumun amount of performance to run psp 3x or 4x and leave there and yea put only one process in the background helps.

Question Problems with 8 Gen 1

"Everyone" is saying: "do not go with this soc, it overheats, it has overdraining battery issues...". Is it really that bad? Or was that true only at the beginning and now after few firmware updates everything is allright and great soc to go?
Looking for an answer in this question too.
I'm on mi 9 lite and want an upgrade.
We have a huge price drop on Xiaomi 12. And I'm looking for a user experienced answer. Thanks!
Maybe check some reviews/test from other phones with this SoC.
Poco F4 GT, Realme GT 2 Pro, Motorola Edge 30 Pro, OnePlus 10 Pro, Oppo Find X5 Pro, ...

It's not a good SoC. But I'm looking for user experience on latest miui updates. How does battery perform after so many updates?
It overheats from Youtube/TikTok, Idle battery drain is 1%/hr on Wi-Fi, no BT, no GPS

Say no more. I still have 0.19%/hr idle drain on my mi 9 lite here.
Yeah its the case with my Xiaomi 12, but tolerable.
If you use only social media apps and browsers, the phone heats up but not severe and battery depleted about 1%/5 minutes.
But gaming otherwise, if you play moderately heavy games (genshin impacts) in places without fans or conditioners, this phone heats up quite fast, the fps count drops and the whole experience become worse over time.
