After doing that, i cant boot into TWRP custom recovery.
I've tried typing "fastboot boot twrp.x.x.x.img" right after this screenshot, tried using the power+vol up button and all other possible combinations, and it doesn't work. If I try to reboot and then go to recovery by using the "abd reboot recovery" command, or using the power+vol up button on my phone, it goes into the default recovery.
I've tried at least 20 different twrp.x.x.x.img files, in both linux and windows, and nothing seems to work. And yes, my adb is up to date.
Phone: Redmi Note 7 Pro "Violet" (Unlocked bootloader)

That is a problem with me too. I have as amsung tab 2 and I wanted to install a modded stock rom (4.1.2) so I downloaded old version of twrp and installed it via twrp ( newer version) and it installed successfully (at least it said so) but when I reboot to recovery, I don't have any recovery. Why ????

Looks like the su binary isn't found...
Try do a cache and dalvik wipe (NOT DATA) and later reflash the root.
Tried it and it worked but the recovery problem is still live none of the recovery is working for me please suggest a way to make it right!

Maybe flash a recovery again.
Sent from my XT1032 using XDA Free mobile app
Flash recovery again in with the phone in fastboot mode. After flashing, use the button combination to boot directly into recovery without rebooting the phone and flash supersu.

The root process or custom recovery on a Alcatel OneTouch SHINE LITE (No bootloader?)

Hello, and before I get into it, yes I have tried many ways. Using adb, using one of those root tools for PC and Android. Etc
And yes the bootloader is unlocked in developer settings
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I think the error is the bootloader
This is too see if we can find the bootloader on this phone.
I have tried "adb reboot bootloader" that just restarts the phone,
I've tried rebooting into recovery and selecting the reboot into bootloader option.
That again just starts the phone.
I also found that with the recovery menu adb option my pc does not recognise it, so maybe there is no drivers for the adb in recovery mode if someone could find drivers for that that'd be great :laugh:
I am currently stumped on my progress on this phone. And would like some help
Little problem with my Honor 6x
Hello,
After making a mistake when editing a file in the root directory of my phone, I tried a reset. The problem is that as seen on the picture the update and recovery mode does not work. So I end up with a device without an OS (deleted when trying to install a custom ROM with TWRP).
Do you have any idea to fix it ?
Do you think I can send it without an OS to the builder with the bootloader locked ?
Where will there be a way to install a custom ROM from 0 ?
1. plug your phone to a PC (IDK why but it works for me)
2. enter fastboot ( vol down + power, but the moment the phone vibrates, release the power button)
3. unlock bootloader
4. flash twrp
5. flash rom or flash stock rom (just flash 1st your recovery.img if your are doing the dload method)
OnePlus 7 stuck on Fastboot Mode screen after flashing
Hello Friends,
I am new in this and heard a lot about this forum so requesting a small from you guys.
I am having OnePlus 7 Device with currently on Android version 10 and Kernel version 4.14.117.
I wanted to flash TWRP and root my device So I unlocked its bootloader and installed adb drivers in my Windows Machine and Downloaded TWRP (twrp 3.3.1-1-guacamoleb.img) with its zip file and Magisk as well. when I put my phone in fastboot and checked with "fastboot devices" it is showing my device serial number here.
after, I am entering the command "fastboot boot twrp 3.3.1-1-guacamoleb.img" and pressing enter the phone will show only Fastboot mode screen and will not boot into TWRP recovery mode. Please help me with this.
P.S. > I did try this in Android version 9 and the same issue is occurring.
