Same as any ROM.
Do the necessary wipes and flash the ROM.
No wipes are needed between updates from Descendant itself, unless specified.
If you're having problem with SafetyNet, please, install Magisk along the following modules:
SafetyPatcher
Magisk Hide Props.
But please, mind, we won't support any issue arising from Magisk nor relative modules.

Not working for me

The ROM is very smooth and battery is perfect, can you please add OP screen recorder in the ROM I want to record internal audio like on Evolution rom, thanks for the great ROM.

flashed this beauty rom but missing custumize option

I really want to try this because of the UI. I have some questions if anyone has time to reply. Is there an amoled dark theme, since I can't see screenshots of that? Does the rom have fod animations? Anything I should know of before flashing?

I am happy to announce, that I have successfully ported stable Oxygen OS to the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 and 4 Plus!:victory:
Using a custom OOS vendor I was able to fix bugs and bring this smooth and stable OS to our device.
Features
-Based on latest OnePlus 7 OxygenOS Open Beta 15
-Fast and working face unlock
-All OOS icon packs included
-Debloated
-Google Camera Go
Bugs
-Maybe Fingerprint on Plus
Everything else is working as far as I know
ROM DOWNLOAD (No need for Gapps as they are already included)
Installation
Required Firmware (MIUI China Dev 9.8.29)
Recommend Recovery (OrangeFox)
1. Make sure your storage is not encrypted and you are using the correct firmware
2. Wipe Dalvik, Data, Cache, System and Vendor
3. Flash the rom zip
4. Reboot
5. IMPORTANT Install activity launcher, launch demo mode and disable always on ambient display or you will experience an issue with a black light in sleep mode. Also remember to hide notch in settings or your UI will look weird.
5. (Optional) Reboot to recovery and root with magisk
6. Enjoy OOS!!

This is a bug that occurs only when hiding gesture bar, I will fix in the next build as this is an early test build.

PM me about the Shady stuff and I will remove it, I have never used a OnePlus device so I am unaware of this. Since this port is based on a GSI it may have already been removed but I'd rather be safe.

App or module for LED notifications?

Does it exist an app or module which allows the F2 pro to make LED notifications in various colours, just as my "old" OnePlus 5t made (and yet makes)?
I have tried various Play store apps with my custom Rom (Android 10 yet...) and I only get the green charging light.
I miss seriously my oouuld Samsung Note 3 luxury LED notifications

It's just what I have done 9 months ago...
I have the MSM Extended on Android 10.
Maybe is it a kernel problem? I was unable to install the Quantic k. on Android 10.
Maybe Android 11 versions of custom Roms with adequate custom kernel get the led functionality?

So, that's the way. I must try to update. I'm a root-custom Rom and so on defender. But I hate to flash everything that moves . Not a flashaholic at all.

It's clear, you don't know what you're talking about.
AOSP have a lot more parameter settings and customization options than MIUI roms.

Basically rom is very smooth and minimal bugs but battery back up is still bad I think some backend process are taking resources like brightness manager or something may in some update release dev will resolve good rom but battery backup is still poor. Unlimited Google backup working perfect material U is also working properly.

No idea just one solution stop auto brightness

I didn't have auto brightness on

Back up your stuff and factory reset maybe might be a glitch

Resetting to factory settings will not help, this is not a glitch. Disabling auto-brightness doesn't help either.

direct clean flashing should work, but still i would recommend to go back to stock using msm or fastboot and then install PE.

Adaptive brightness is better than on other custom roms?

Same as aosp12 Roms all have same adaptive brightness issues

This is because the PE rom shows target SPL is 2022-01-05 (20220211 version from sourceforge), derpfest shows is 2022-02-05, the recovery thoughts "This is a downgrade" then denied sideload.

Use old Chinese twrp and u can sideload

Only oos will work reliably on VZW or it's mvno. A few custom A11 roms will also work like LOS18.1

Just installed it and the camera isn't working.
