Does anyone know of a replacement for Huawei Mobile Services, that would allow to use for instance the Health app without requiring a Huawei ID?
I have a Huawei Band 4 and the fitness band doesn't work without such app. Such app doesn't work without HMS. HMS requires you to login with a Huawei ID. I find this awful and I'm looking for alternatives.
P.S. there is an app on F-Droid called GadgetBridge which supports several types of fitness bands, but my Huawei Band 4 is not in the list. It needs a certain auth key in order to work with the device, and I don't have a clue how to get it, as all instructions are for Mi Band 4.
There was an RE effort, which resulted in a test GB version supporting Huawei devices. More info can be found here: https://codeberg.org/Freeyourgadget/Gadgetbridge/pulls/2462 .

It's crazy [emoji32]. It remembers me the same thing happened with ZTE mobile phones.
Reading the article, for someone who purports to be an "IT Engineer" and "skilled in computers, cellphones, and data networks," he is remarkably ill informed about how network applications, systems and mobile device systems and software work. After the most cursory of glances at the article
Captive Portal Login...................................................…….This appears to be linked to authenticating to the device for cloud accounts such as Gmail
Huawei.hivoice..................................................................…..Required to use the voice from the cellphone system
Huawei.mobile.services .............................................…..Required to use the data from the cellphone system
Huawei search index and services..................…….Literally EVERY operating system has a search index system built in to work
Exchange Services............................................................…..Outlook email app installed and probably in use
Files...................................................................................................….It's called looking at the files system
Google Backup Services................................................…..It's called Google, you know, the owners of Android
Google Play Services...................................................…......It's called Google, you know, the owners of Android
Google Services Framework.......................................….It's called Google, you know, the owners of Android
Package installer.........................................................................Again....Google else how do you look for, install and update apps?
System update........................................................................….Oh no!!! Updates.....To the system...!!!!!
IP addresses...shock horror, various companies use the Amazon AWS cloud service to support...... services in the cloud

119.23.23.32 Alisoft Computing Co. Ltd. .......................Well, if you browse to Alibaba you're probably going to get a link to their CRM customer assist system
54.171.19.142:443 Amazon Technologies Inc...…………………... Again with the whole cloud based service provider supporting cloud apps, like....the keyboard app you installed

I could continue but plainly the idiot who reported this to Taiwan News and the idiot who wrote the article and the idiot who provided editorial approval are all idiots.

Recently, there're many concerns regarding to lack of GMS in mate 30 pro due to US ban.
I just thinking about one of main core feature from Android Q: Project Mainline.
Since Mate30 did not pass CTS and GTS test, meaning it cannot obtain official system module updates directly from Google even though users installed those GMS via third party installer? Am I correct?
How can I generate convenient smart app services?
How can my offers and promotions reach target users?

Google provides play integrity API for app integrity protection in android applications. But, since Google is not available in China region, then what are the alternative APIs for integrity protection for Android apps in China (Huawei, Baidu, Vivo, Xiaomi, Oppo, etc)?
I found alternative API for Huawei which is SysIntegrity API (https://developer.huawei.com/consum...ides/dysintegritydevelopment-0000001050156331), but I want to know about the availability of similar APIs in Baidu and other stores as well.
