I want to transfer data from broken huawei mate 30 pro LCD Touch screen not working to new huawei mate 30 pro Please Help .
Buy a new LCD with frame, transfer the mainboard etc in it and voila you keep all your data.
I bet it's cheaper than buying a new or even used mate 30 pro. Did it 2x times on my wifes mate 20 pro and just transplanted the guts from a smashed galaxy note 10 plus in a new display housing. You need to have some basic skills if not leave it to the pro's, but before you visit a pro get yourself to know the prices so you know how much he charges for the labour.

I currently have 2 phones, Mate20Pro for personal use and Note9 for work. I really enjoy using both phones, but I'm thinking about selling them both to buy one of these:
- Note10
- Oneplus 7 Pro
- Mate 30 Pro
I'm contemplating which one to get, and it's very difficult to make up my mind. I love using the S-pen, and actually use it quite a lot, however I also enjoy the night time camera quality of the Mate20Pro just as much. OP7pro is in there due to the beautiful 90hz display, and the software features (although arguably One UI is on par).
If the Note10 came out with a really good night mode for the camera to rival Huawei phones, and had just as good a battery life as the Mate 20 Pro, I'd ask for nothing else (except for maybe the 90hz refresh rate)
If you guys were in my situation, which would you pick, and why?
FYI, the local prices for the phones are:
Note10 - around $1162usd for the plus/pro model with 256gb, but I can get a free Nintendo Switch through carrier promotions which I can sell later. Assuming I get around $240usd, that means I'll be paying around $922usd, with other freebies (like galaxy buds, wireless chargers, etc...)
Oneplus 7 Pro - $664usd
Mate 30 Pro - unreleased, but most likely going to be over $1200usd, with no promotions since Huawei phones are also illegal here.
I am planning to buy a phone but on a tight budget. Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro seems to be a good choice, but its almost a year old. So is this phone still a good choice, or has it become obsolete by some other device? Another choice would be Realme 3 Pro, which is slightly newer, but I'm not sure its on par with Redmi Note 7 Pro.
P.S. Can I play PUBG with HDR setting on this device? What's the highest PUBG graphics setting you have been able to play comfortably on this device?
P.P.S. Is there a fully functional Google Cam mod availble for Redmi Note 7 Pro?
The thing with Xiaomi is that they release a new phone every month (35 total phones in 2019) and their phones get cheaper every time a new one is released. For example i bought the 7 Pro for 275$, a month later after it was 250$, and now its 180$.
The phone was overhyped and overpriced because the main selling point of the phone was the camera which is just fine, as 80% of other phones.
What I'm trying to say is that the Note 7 Pro was "OK" for like 1 month, then a new device came out with better specs and the same price. Its still a nice phone but then again even cheaper phones are good nowadays.
If you have the money go for a Note 8 Pro, or K30...or hell even a Poccophone is way better and cheaper
I owned note 7 pro and my wife realms 3 pro. I like realms 3 pro than 7 as photos are better in it.
Is there really that big a different between those two??
So far I can see there is no big different between the camera ??
999 euro for the pro.
1399 euro for the pro plus.
5 things are different:
The pro+ comes with 256gb extra storage, totalling 512gb. Since neither phones support microsd cards, it might be worth to upgrade for extra storage.
The pro+ comes with a ceramic back, instead of glass. So it wont shatter or break like glass, and can also apprantly be even more scratch resistant, while retaining the smoothness of glass.
The pro+ comes with a extra camera, that does 3x optical zoom.
The pro+ replaces the 5x optical zoom of the pro to a 10x optical zoom camera.
The pro+ comes with a little bit faster wireless charging.
Earlier post suggested that it also comes with 4gb extra ram, totalling at 12gb, this is not the case.
It's really personal preference if you want one of these features. Since the p40 pro and pro+ do not support microsd, i might need the extra storage for the games series and the lot of photo's i take. I'm quite a power user.
The extra zoom will also be quite special and certainly unique in a phone, until a competitor ofcource adds it to their phone as well. But i can see it staying a premium feature at a premium price for the whole of 2020 and first half of 2021.
The ceramic back is also welcome, since i shattered the back glass of 2 phones already while riding a rollercoaster, while i never had this problem with the iphones i owned, but never shattered front displays on any phone. I don't like to use cases. i have good insurance.
I can't care much about the extra wireless charging speed though.
So for me, while it is a extreme price, i will get the pro +. But...only if i see the normal pro thats almost released can properly handle google apps with everything working. Time will tell when users get their hands on the devices.
You can also add an NM card in the second SIM slot. The biggest you get is 256GB. If you want to add the NM but also need two SIM-cards, there is the option of using eSIM. Thirdparty NM just go up to 128GB for about 40€ and Huawei itself produces 256GB for 100€.
I think it isnot worth to pay an extra 400€, if you don't need the camera and the wireless charging with 40W but the extra space.
Just my opinion.

you need a new reader then as well(unless phone-only usage), and NM cards are double the price of microsd cards, and dont come in higher then 256gb at retail stores at least.
No i'd rather go for 400 euro more for 256gb extra AND then get the other features as well.

I think Mate 30 Pro is better for some, less for others... I watched a lot of video and I don't think P40 supersead Mate 30 Pro.

Which option is better, the p40 pro (256) and the 27 w wireless charger and the watch gt2 or the p40 pro plus alone.
Better in terms of? Value? If value for money then the P40 Pro and the bundle, you'd get more use out of it than an extra bit of zoom and 40w wireless charging IMO.
I also think the Silver Frost looks better than the P40 Pro Plus's ceramic back.
You can get p40 pro as low as low 650-750eur in Germany. P40 pro plus I assume is 1300? Value wise p40 pro is better
It depends on what your market is, ive got the p40 pro plu the gt2e and I love it! if you're going to buy from abroad maybe go for the plus but the Pro offer is class and for me I cant see how I can benefit more, but I would only truly know if I had the plus, its a tough decision but either way its an awesome result
Hi all, i want to change the broken display on my Huawei P40 Pro, but the new display costs twice as much as display from Honor 30 Pro. Did someone tried to use display trom Honor 30 Pro (or Honor 30 Pro Plus) on Huawei P40 Pro? I know they are differ in size only in 0.02 mm and Honor has only 1080 resolution, so i thought maybe it can be mounted on P40 Pro. Thanks.
No way. Different controllers for the panel. Next time be careful with your phone.
