Android 4.4.
Based on AOSP-MIRROR source with imported EMUI 8.0 kernel from EMUI 8.0 Prague-AL00_OREO_EMUI8.0_opensource.tar.gz .
Actually there are no "extra" features because of up-streaming that need a lot of time to arrive at 180, so if you are interesting
to brings one of these features just post the patches or made a pull request to my sources, so you have to fork it.
Installation Guide
Download the last kernel source.
Reboot to TWRP.
Install > choose kernel zip patch > Swipe to flash.
Reboot, enjoy.
Note
Modem may not work on recent builds of EMUI so use magiks module to fix it.
Kernel name is not shown in stock EMUI, just on custom roms check my screenshot for the proof.

if not wrong it was OmniROM. I arrived at 4.4.53 but I'd like to update to .100 before upload.
because Project Treble for EMUI5 eat some time of development as I manage to did partial boot

I will try using this kernel on Aospex 6.6.

The most beautiful MIUI 8 has finally arrived for Xiaomi devices and so for our Lenovo Phab Plus. So after MIUI 7, here comes my MIUI 8 Global and China Beta/Developer ROM for Lenovo Phab Plus.
This MIUI 8 Global/China Developer ROM is based on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. This Custom ROM is ported from xiaomi.eu unofficial MIUI 8 weekly release which is fully translated into English and is multilingual. Thus, this MIUI 8 is actually a Global version.
Remember this MIUI 8 ROM is not an official release from MIUI team; this is just a ported ROM from Redmi 3. And MIUI 8 is itself in Beta stage so don’t expect zero bug.

Reboot into TWRP Recovery
Wipe data, system, cache and dalvik cache from Advanced Wipe menu

What are the chances I could brick my phone? this is the only phone that I have and i don't want to brick it. And if I do brick it is it possible to easily unbrick it?

If you'll get into download mode, than it'll be simple to flash stock rom... It can be sometimes tricky to get there, when its bootlooping.. Just risk it

it is a bit of a risk but chances are it won't happen since you using recovery compared to fast boot which knows where to flash
