I have a G970F livee demo unit. It does not have an IMEI number. It has a tripped KNOX, so I can not write the IMEI number. I have a G970U motherboard, and I want to put it in that phone. Does it work with it?

Does Samsung still using it?
90% yes but not sure .
Has anyone from the US, who bought the g930f or g935f confirm or deny this region lock?
Look at seal of packaging
On the seal of the packaging is noted "European sim cards only"
If that's what you mean.
Hello.
I own a S7 and my phone was in official service and my motherboard was changed (along with the camera, speakers).
I asked the guy at the service why i have the same IMEI if my motherboard was changed and they say that it was rewritten to the new motherboard.
Is that possible?
Of course it is. As a matter of fact, you could buy s7 mainboard with blank IMEI and write your own if you had appropriate tools for that
Yep. It's written by a special piece of kit called a Service Box. Expensive little things...
I'm currently trying to replace the motherboard on my galaxy S7, AT&T (SM-G930A). Since I'm taking the entire mobo out, does that at all allow me to put a motherboard from a different cell carrier (ex. verizon, t-mobile, unlocked, etc.) inside it? If not, what's preventing it?
It should not be any problem to do that right? I would just make sure that the new motherboard is the same model as the original.
I've done this type of repairs on galaxy s4 and almost every iPhone except 7 and it was never any problems.
How did it go, did you manage to change motherboard? And is it working?
I haven't replaced it yet because I want to make sure that I can do it in the first place. The thing with the samsung mobo's is that for different carriers there are slightly different models - for example, Factory Unlocked is SM-G930V, T mobile is SM-G930T, etc. I want to be able to use a same motherboard but different variant because I'm not on AT&T so I wouldn't be able to use it as my phone. In your repairs, did you ever notice if you changed out a motherboard for a variant from a different carrier?
Is it possible replace mainboard G930W8 to G930F? I have bricked G930W8 and living in Europe
G930W8 and G930F are the same motherboard layout (it's written right on the board "G930F/W8") so it will definitely fit. The daughterboards are model-specific, which I believe is due to the antenna configuration. I would stand to be corrected on that. I'm not sure that it's going to cause you any problems if you didn't have any signal/channel issues with the W8 before it became bricked.
There are sellers online selling the G930W8 and G930F motherboards as directly interchangeable, for what that's worth.
So the problem can only be with the antenna? Thanks for reply
Hi,
I need N976Q board part number, Service manual, the board itself sent to Europe, and whether it can replace N976V board-will it need replacing some 5g antennas or something?
For N9760 I need part number and parts supplier to send to Europe and information if it can replace the N976V board.
+ What other parts will need to be replaced, (keeping the screen, battery.. )
PM me if you are can source the parts and send them.
Thank you.
