Need help activating VoLTE service on Cherry Mobile Omega X - General Questions and Answers

Good afternoon all
Need some assistance regarding VoLTE I just joined a new network that's recently gone active since March and one of the requirements is a VoLTE compatible mobile phone for it to work properly
Now my phone is VoLTE compatible as this option is enabled on my other Sim card but the sim card I need it to be enabled on ( the new network ) the option to enable it in settings is not available my phone is dual SIM and is meant to be Dual VoLTE
I obviously want to get the new SIM enabled for the service as I'm unable to make or receive calls on that SIM ..
Under that SIM internet and text messaging are working in fact I'm seriously impressed with the speed of the internet
As mentioned above my other Sim card all VoLTE options are enabled but with that network it doesn't offer me the VoLTE as that's a premium service
Here is some information regarding phone and networks
SIM 1 Smart Communications
SIM 2 Dito telecommunity
Both networks are in Philippines and it's Dito that I need VoLTE resolving
My mobile phone is a Cherry Mobile Omega X with an Helio P23 CPU I believe it's from MTK 3GB ram 32 storage
Some screenshots of the 2 SIM cards in settings and last screenshot of the hidden phone information as seen VoLTE enabled based on my Smart SIm
Any help getting VoLTE enabled on my Dito Sim would be much appreciated
Thanks in advance

Any link for the firmware? Because all the firmware i found is not working.

Is there any workaround for choosing the default calling sim for dual sim devices? The app asks to select the sim for every call that I make and it is really annoying.

Click to collapse
you can go to sim cards in settings and set your default sim there...

I already did! But the dialer app itself should include support for dual sim devices. Unfortunately, this one dosen't(probably 'cause Pixel itself is a single sim device and this is from the Pixel dump)
Wait! Do you mean that it is working for you?

i think the ui needs a little bit of tweeking...

LG V50 Verizon Model - Unable to Make Calls

Hello all,
I seem to have an issue with the phone whereas phone calls are not working on the phone (call \receive). I thought it was an issue with the phone not unlocked but it is. I confirmed by looking at the following:
- Phone says Tmobile at the bottom of the screen
- when searching for networks, mentions all - Tmobile, ATT, Verizon, MetroPCS
- manually selected Tmobile as well as Auto Select Network
- texts work on the Tmobile Sim
- Chrome browser loads pages (data not set to roaming)
- factory reset phone and the issue persists
- inserted known working Verizon Sim to test phone ability to make calls \ receive and works ( able to dial out and ring)
- browsed around the Phone app => turned off Assisted Dialing, Video calling
At the moment, I am trying to get the KDZ to possibly flash the firmware to see if the Radios flashover.
Any thoughts?
Nevermind.
I was able to confirm that it is unlocked and able to work with TMobile....sorta. Calls come in when the phone in certain areas where it can switch to a 2G network and switch back to LTE once done.
I also noticed that the 5G UWS icon appeared in some areas. Speed test doesn't show anything 5G like (20mb down, 17 up).
I would hope that cross flash comes out soon. Lol

Hey hi how you unlock your v50 from Verizon

Samsung Galaxy S10e SM-G970N LTE Lock

Hi, i 'm pretty new to android (just made the jump from an iphone)
I got a Samsung Galaxy S10e (korean KTC version), and i noticed that the signal is always on 3G even though my phone supports both lte bands that are used by my carrier (B3 1800 and B20 800)
Digging into setting there is no way to chose preferred network mode but i notice there is a setting called service provider that has an giga lte option but when go to enable it it just says that "giga lte cannot be used while a non-kt USIM is inserted, insert a kt USIM and try again"
So i though is it possible to unlock the lte functionnality by flashing a rom through odin for the korean vertion of the phone but with no carrier lock?
I found this stock korean S10e rom with no carrier lock (screenshot bellow)
Did anyone do it before ?
Does it work?
They have the same model number but not the same CSC file, would it be possible that this works ?

If the phone carrier locked then flashing a rom will not unlock it. You would need a Sim unlock code from the carrier to use a different Sim card. You may me able to carrier unlock it from various websites that an unlock code for purchase. Try a Google search for Sim unlock code. Good luck.

"Not registered on network" sim problem in my Note10+ SM-N975F please Help!!

Hello,
About the situation i am in... I got note10+ sm-n975f from a friend of mine in Pakistan and I live in Canada. For some reason my sim card doesn't work on this device no matter what I do. I did reset with the sim card in it but still same result "not registered on network" and I can't select operators manually either.
What is this problem? Is it due to the firmware? This phone was rooted previously and my friend flashed it back to the stock version.
Or is the problem related to the wrongly flashing the phone?
I have attached all the screnshots.

Mobile sim card is active. Does sim card work on other mobile.
Mobile is international unlocked. May be mobile is locked.
Try to reset network setting. Or reset all setting and erase mobile.
Select the preferred network 4G LTE / 4G /3G.

Yes mobile sim card is active and it does work on my other phone. I did all the stuff you mentioned but no luck sadly. Even reset my phone twice but no use :/
By the way what is international unlock? The phone isn't carrier locked though.

Can This Actually Use Dual Physical Sims?

With lineage 20 installed, everything in the menu system seems to indicate dual sim support, and the engineering menu shows a Phone 0/Phone 1 option. However, the tray in my phone appears to be a single sim/micro SD tray that I can't put a second physical sim into. There is a hybrid sim tray for this model for sale on eBay.
My question is that were separate single and dual sim models of this handset manufactuered so even adding a hybrid sim tray to mine won't support the second sim card? Or will adding such a tray support the card since the flashed ROM appears to support it?
The Motorola website says this:
networks / bands2G: GSM band 2/3/5/8
3G: WCDMA band 1/2/5/8
4G: LTE band 1/3/5/7/8/20/38/40/41SIM cardDual/Single nano-SIMWi-Fi802.11a/b/g/n/ac, 2.4GHz + 5GHz
Seems like there are two different models:

But perhaps it's just a matter of SIM tray, maybe it does have the pins?
Probably not but worth a shot...
So the answer is no. I got the dual sim tray, the tray and dual sims fit in the phone physically, the engineering menu shows the ability to pick sim 1 or 2 but the sim is not recognized and the settings menu has no option for it.
