Does any of you guys know how can I disable the bootloader unlocked screen? I have recently rooted my device and can't find anywhere a way to disable the "bootloader unlocked" screen

Hello:
I sent my NEXUS in to SAMSUNG for a touch screen non-responsive on the left side issue. The tech stated there were no problems with my NEXUS S!
Upon turning it on, there is a padlock on the botton of the Google splash screen.
I called Samsung and the "level 3" tech said that my phone was now locked to T-mobile. I though that was BS.
Anyway what is it and, can I get it back to normal? My wife has the same phone and here does not have any problems so far.
I've attached a pic of the screen that shows the padlock. Thanks for the help.

that means your phone is unlocked as far as I know. I did my first unlocking and rooting of my nexus last night. When I went through the unlocking process, the "unlocked padlock" started to appear on my startup. If you hold "volume up" and the power button and turn the phone on. it should say unlocked on the fastboot screen...
You have unlocked the bootloader my young Jedi.

yup, unlocked bootloader.
thats not a bad thing, its a wonderful thing!
lol you rooted your phone and unlocked the bootloader. that is what that lock symbol means. did you forget, or not do this on purpose?
Thanks to all that replied!! I kinda figured that is what it was.. Like I said I didn't do it, the Samsung repair facility in Texas unlocked it. I called the Nexus S support line and the Level 3 tech said " When we reflashed your software, it locks your phone into the T-mobile network" and that was after she went down the hall and consulted with the "developers", Samsung tech support is a Joke. One day I'm gunna root this thing!
Thanks Again Guys.
And to the XDA moderator, sorry I posted in wrong section initially, rookie mistake..
Anybody know how to remove this lock symbol? How to re-lock the bootloader again?

When I go type in 'fastboot devices' or 'Adb devices' it says
"list of devices attached:" and nothing underneath it .....
I have tried updating drivers via PDAnet .... still nothing.
the drivers I have are 'ADB interface'.
Am I missing drivers specific for bootloader or something??
Basically, the phone wouldnt restore or factory reset, so I decided to root it? so I found a new '1 click root and recovery'.
Once I run the script, it unlocked bootloader and also reset my phone which worked great. Only thing I want to do now is remove the open padlock icon on the google screen (which I think is by re-locking bootloader) but when I put in the typical 'fastboot oem lock' nothing happens .....
Much appreciate the help, thanks.
You got to remove everything "custom" (cwm recovery, user roms etc) from the device before you can lock the bootloader again.
When you are trying to lock your bootloader it doesn't do anything because your device isn't correctly recognized by windows, this is prolly due to missing/wrong drivers (try uninstalling old ones and then follow the unlockr guide to rooting your phone/installing adb, http://theunlockr.com/2009/10/06/how-to-set-up-adb-usb-drivers-for-android-devices/).

what is your phone 4g or gsm?!
How can I tell if my bootloader is UNLOCKED? With older versions of the bootloader (at least I think) it was a white screen with all the text/data on it at the top telling you useful information. Now with the 10.6.1.27.5 update all I can see is the black screen with 3 icons in the middle. (RCK, Android, and Wipe Data).
It says so in the upper corner of the screen when Asus logo is displayed while starting the tablet

I have "no certificate to inject" on the initial screen (not going into the bootloader mode). So I'm guessing that means it's locked. Best tutorial to unlock it?

unlocking is easy
1.just go to asus.com on your PC (search for your tablet) and download the bootloader unlock apk (JB or ICS, get the right one)
2.connect your tablet to your pc via USB and put the bootloader unlock apk somewhere in your tablet
3. unplug USB
4.install the bootloader unlock apk on your tablet
5.go to your list of apps and run the bootloader unlock tool (i think it's called "unlock tool" in your list of apps)
then just follow the onscreen instructions
but if you are having trouble unlocking it i wouldn't do it
i bricked my tablet and i unlocked it easily, ran NVflash fine, and put on TWRP on easily as well, but screwed things up changing the rom
during the whole process unlocking was the easiest

Got you! Thanks
I just hopped over to the Asus website and grabbed the "Unlock Device App: Unlock boot loader." utility.
located here
For personal reasons, i decided to relock the boot loader from my Moto G, i did it successfully by using the commands "fastboot oem lock begin" and "fastboot oem lock".
Now the phone says: "Device is LOCKED. Status code: 2".
But there is a problem: The "Your boot loader is unlocked" white screen still shows up when i boot up the phone.
I believe that since the boot loader is now locked, the message should disappear. But it didn't.
So, any ideas on how to get the motorola logo back?

I'd rather say : [APP] MotoG Boot Logo Creator + Flasher

Is my phone really locked?
About this "Status Code 2"... what does it mean?
And, is the device really locked?
If it is, then the boot loader will only allow me to flash stock roms right?
It's just here to let dev/tech support your current phone status.
Status 0: BL Locked (never touched)
Status 3: BL Unlocked
Status 2: BL Locked (should be relocked, BL was unlocked and then relocked)

Go to Settings > Sound and you can turn Vibrate on touch off under Keys. You can also turn off Vibrate when ringing. You can also go to Settings > Language & input > Google Keyboard Settings and turn Vibrate on key press off.
Try putting a case on your Moto G, some cases will reduce or completely prevent the rattle.
You could open up the back cover and put a small piece of paper or tape in the space between the buttons and the back cover. This should prevent any excessive rattling.

I think u r missing the point,he is talking about the boot screen message which one gets when he unlock phones boot-loader ( which says your phone boot is unlocked now and you are now out of warranty )
I don't think, there is a way back as far i remember Motorola uses software based hard fuses for this and once its blown up there is no way to undo it, i might be wrong but i am sure i read it when i was researching about this phone before buying it.
There is a way to lock our moto g back after unlock with motorola own procedure ?
I search here but nothing till now, only a procedure to mask the startup screen with message about unlocked device (white screen with red text) with anothers screen with a static earth image andM from motorola.
Then you haven't searched well... Lock Bootloader http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2700502
Own lock begin and OEM lock doesn't work
Are you re-flashing the stock ROM in between running the command oem lock begin and oem lock?
I have an xt1032 and was able to lock and unlock.
You should note that even if you re-lock the bootloader, I think Motorola will still know you unlocked the bootloader. Apparently, unlocking the bootloader will blow an e-fuse which cannot be "unblown".
Thanks for your response
Is there a way to check this? I tried adding the phone months ago but nothing seems to happen. In developer options, when I tried to "add account and device" I get a pop up "Couldn't verify". Currently the top of the Mi Unlock Status screen says "This device is locked" so I guess my attempt to request an unlock so far have not worked.
Anyone?
When you start your phone, if its bootloader is unlocked you have the word Unlocked in the center bottom of the screen with the Mi logo.
