Hello, well maybe not Android Auto killer but I'm developing an app similar to AA, the idea is to have something similar for the people without AA or want to use it in the Bikes/Motorcycle /auto.

I'm using navigation powered by mapbox, but you can also open your own app to start the navigation.

In App turn by turn navigation
Built in phone calls (receive/place calls without leaving the app) [Beta]
Recent calls/contacts/ and dialer with one click
Control your favorite music player like Spotify, Youtube music, Deezer , etc.
Receive and reply messages from Whatsapp, Telegram, FB messenger and SMS.
Built in Voice commands (not perfect like Google assistant ) but you can navigate to some places, serach for a contact, weather , control music and is 100% offline
Speed cameras (static only) with a sound for as a warning alert and a visual alert in the map when is close.
Incidents like constructions and blocked roads
Search for places/contacts and navigate with one click.
App launcher, add/edit your favorites apps and with one click launch them
Set as launcher, press home button to return to the app (new gesture navigation is not supported thom but there is a "bubble" feature to return to the app)
Speed limits
Calendar integration
Many fetures are 100% offline and I'm trying to keep privacy and not share any information , that's why no ads and not even log in (for now, maybe in the future for backups)
I'm still developing this app to make it better and better, if you find a bug please send an email to [email protected], the pricing might be a problem unfortunately mapbox pricing is quite expensive minus 30% google minus taxes, minus search services/weather and so on
I'm trying to figure out the best way , you can alternative use the "premium" without navigation.

Ideas futrue:
Include AR navigation (but seems this would be expensive not sure if people would pay one time around 3-4 euros)
HUD but since the app suppose to be used for the user not sure if a HUD mode would be good or just a "screen"
Crash detector (send an SMS if there is a crash), not sure if google will allow SMS premium permissions tho.

improve HeadUnit (for large screen create 2 panes)

Unfortunately there was a small issue with subscriptions with a wording and they removed the app from play store, I uploaded a "compliant" wording and I'm waiting to be approved, it should be available soon tho

Now, for about 10% of my navigation, i have to use Google Maps (better business search). Can you add an option, so we can select more than one navigation app?

Easiest way to explore Google Street View.
Main features and tips:
- random Street View (select country in preferences)
- add places to favorites (yellow star in left corner)
- moving Street View camera by volume keys (forward - volume up, backward - volume down)
- remembering last position
- drag and droop marker (long click on map to move marker)
- long click favorite star to show favorites list
- full screen on landscape orientation
- share panorama

I have one small issue
My house faces due north and when I tap on the icon to load current position the map loads also facing due north.
So I rotate the image so it's looking down my road (east/west) so I am facing in the correct of travel but when I press the volume rocker the map moves north/south effectively slicing through my house instead of moving east/west
But apart from that, it's brilliant
Sounds like a good app. But I have a couple of questions.
If I understand this correctly, when your using street view you have to manually advance the view with the rocker buttons right? It won't advance as your driving by it's self?
Will the map view continue to advance as your driving?

I'd like to be able to move from the GMaps or GMaps Engine app to your app seamlessly. To that end, could you let us know what action intent settings we need to use to be able to launch a search for a specific string/address from another app?
I'm thinking of using Tasker to send the intent once I detect an address being copied to the clipboard in GMaps or GMaps Engine

Does continue using "location" after backing out but killed by omni-switch, icon dissappears.
Repeatedly updates street view even if I do not request change. May correspond to streetview's own refreshes which are even more "glitchy."
Map view seems to have the options I selected in Maps. Street Panorama only offers "traffic."
Questions:
Does this depend on / replace (should I so choose) Maps. Install Maps-engine?

Would be great if there was a way to import or batch add Favorites (not just by clicking on the star in the App). I could see lots of use-cases, e.g. being able to input one's list of favorite restaurants or cafes, sharing Favorites lists with friends, etc.
On the same note, where is the Favorites data stored? SD card would be better than data/data

Flytube offers a new way to watch videos from YouTube on your Android device. Watch them just anywhere you want.
Everyone knows it. You want to watch a good video on YouTube but someone writes you a message or you need to check informations of web.
If you leave YouTube the video will stop. With Flytube this problem is solved. Videos will open in a small window which is all time in front.
Set Flytube as your default YouTube watcher by following the instructions in the intro. If you do so all links to a YouTube video will be opened with Flytube.
Also you can use the share function to open a video window. Just press the share button in a video an select Flytube - video will appear on front.

YouTube Terms of Servies
According to device and network abuse policy and section 4.4 of the developer distribution agreement and YouTubes Terms of Services it is not allowed to play videos in background.
This app does not violates this rules by keeping the app itself in front and also the screen on. If a user locks the device FLytube will automatically turn screen on again and video is shown in front.
Any background playing situation is not reached.

After a week installing this app on my Nexus 4 for my son. It's the best app/launcher for kid on its purpose. The best part if it looks down my son in a selected apps and give a summary on time he spent on. The last update allows to place shortcut on home screen that allows my son to one click to call his grant papa via Messenger video call.

Tried the latest version from the play store. Nice app which does exactly what I want with a simple user interface. Unfortunately the "time spent" is not automatically reseted on a daily basis. Hence, I need to manually reset the time everyday.
I found this app on Play store. It is the best kid launcher I have ever seen. :good:
One possible bug? When I disable the notification bar for my kid, and I switch back to my default launcher, I can't open it either. Need to reboot.
Still, it is by far the best kid launcher out there!
Best part for me is that I am able to select YouTube channels that my kid can watch.
Keep up the good work!

Hello. Is it possible to remove luna launcher from time limit ? Actually when I set up 4 hours a day and I spend 1 and hafl hour on the apps luna launcher says I reached the limit because I just didn't switch off my tablet. So I spent 1h30 on my apps and 2h30 just because luna launcher was running. Should I really turn off my tablet or is there another solution ?
