CSC Changing Help

I have the G955FD on the BRI (Taiwan) firmware. I live in Australia, and really want to use Samsung pay. How should I change my CSC from BRI to XSA? I've seen varying information here and on other sites. I want to keep my Google Play as Certified, still have OTAs and without tripping KNOX. Essentially like a standard phone from this region. I don't particularly care about Dual-SIM, but it'd be nice to still have.

Hi mate
Without root there are not many options ..
First F and FD firmwares are compatibles ( same device!! exynos to exynos) , you can flash an F firmware into an FD or vice versa
you could try to change your CSC to your SIM card CSC first
Check here
On the thread it shows how to add your SIM CSC to your current CSC config , if it work you may end up with a configuration like BRI/BRI/XSA , in my case I got TPA/TPA/PCW , TPA was the software default and PCW sims CSC. I do not have Samsung pay so i do not know if that change will be enough to make it work. Back up you need to factory reset for this.
The other option is to flash a full XSA firmware ( use a G955F firmware) , read here how to do it

Thank you very much! I'm now running XSA/XSA/XSA with a flash. Dual-SIM support is still there which surprised me. There were some issues with Odin, but I fixed them up after a while.

Great news mate!!
Firmware is 100% same for F and FD so you should not see any difference at all , I asume also you got Samsung Pay working.

I did the same when I had s8+. flashed TEL (Telstra) SM-G955F firmware which I got off Sammobile and worked like a treat. Samsung pay, VoLTE, Wifi Calling, Spam detection in calls worked as well.
I upgraded to S9+ and tried to do the same. The flash process works fine but CSC doesn't change. I am stuck on AFG CSC. Apparently it cant be done on S9 as Samsung is imposing multi CSC format.

That's unfortunate
I'm curious why you flashed TEL instead of XSA, XSA is the unlocked version and it still has WiFi calling, VoLTE etc. I have an ALDImobile SIM (which uses Telstra) but I installed the unlocked version to have minimal bloatware and the stock boot logo.

I tried both. First preference is always XSA but I tried TEL in anticipation that it may work

Anyone know how to get Bixby Voice enabled on s10e?

Would love some input.
I got an unlocked s10e SM-G970F to use in Japan.
It was a XSP/XSP,XSP/XSP
Everything was good but the bixby voice button wasn't working. It gave me "Bixby voice isn't available in your country"
I did a quick search to see if I can change this and saw a video on changing the CSC. Now the video said to change the CSC to XXV (Vietnam)
But I don't know why I thought I would try BRI (Taiwan unbranded).
So I used the *#272*imei# and changed it to BRI, worked like a charm. But Bixby voice still didn't work and so I wanted to change it to CSC using the 272 method. But now the 272 method doesn't work.
Here are my questions.
1. Would changing CSC to XXV even make Bixby voice work? Yes or no? Is there a way for me to use it while living in Japan.
Hopes.
1. Get Bixby voice working without needing to root.
But at the end of the day might even challenge rooting to get full functionality of phone.
Bonus.
I did use the Odin flash thing to change firmware to XXV firmware but it didn't change the CSC as the OP of this thread suggested.
I am currently downloading a non oxm firmware to try and flash and then flash back to a OXM firmware to see if that will affect the CSC.
Someone mentioned this in this thread.

Change CSC to enable native call recording (SLK only) #2

Dear All,
I have tried to flash with Odin THL and many other firmware (ILO, SLK, XXV) in order to change CSC and have the native call recording enabled.
But no success, unfortunately, all the firmware are MULTI CSC and my CSC has been changed but to one which does not support call recording.
For example, flashing THL firmware my CSC is changed to XME (Malaysia).
Do you know a method (even if it is a paid method) to change the CSC on tab s6?

Find a solution.
1. using ODIN flash the SLK firmware from sammobile (tried with ILO and THL and it doesn't work): T865XXU2ASL3 T865ODM2ASL3
2. go to phone app and digit *#272*your imei number#
3. select CSC SLK ad tap install.
done.
hoping this could be helpful for some one who want to have native call recording enabled.

Because on N10+ I have also tried the code on ITV and it didn't work, but I didn't tried with SLK fmw because I paid for kasko warranty and I am going to ask Samsung to replace my device and I want to be sure they will accept it as original

i found this post, tested on my note10+ and it shows the csc menu changing, but not tried to change it.

Anyone has SamKey credits? I'm trying to change my CSC from ZTO to INS to get access to the Indian Beta program, but Samfw didn't work for me. I would be very glad if someone could help me

There is no NIS CSC, may be you mean INS (India)?

You won't be able to enroll beta by just changing CSC, you also needs SIM from Indian operator.

No India SIM was used (in my experience with SamFW and Samkey, before there was a different method gor CSC change with foreign SIM but it was fix by Samsung August 2019).

I have a similar problem to switch CSC on a friend's A52s to INS.
I deside to tried with ODIN and download desired INS CSC FW via Frija.
Update (even same same FW as currently on device) with BL, AP, CP and HOME_CSC (not CSC_) files, so data will remain.
Then CSC change with SamFW works.
P.S.
No India SIM was used (in my experience with SamFW and Samkey, before there was a different method gor CSC change with foreign SIM but it was fix by Samsung August 2019).
Keep in mind that INS sent 1 sms via every new card, so you can block these numebes in advance via Phone > (dos) > Settings > Block numbers

It was not a bug that samsung needed to fix. It is intended to enroll indian users only as update targeted for India
If you read discussion here, you can find, simply changing CSC didn't worked to enroll for beta programme.
Myself from India only so i haven't personally needed to change CSC though.

To change CSC - no SIM needed.

Yes, to change CSC No indian SIM needed, nor I said. OP as well I have said specifically about "Enrolling/Accessing Indian Beta Programme"
Sorry, No Idea if e-SIM working or not, haven't read about it so can't confirm.

PS : Indian doesn't only mean person from india, It is relating to India, or its people, customs, or languages.

This is what i'm trying to do but in UK. I'm currently on EE on my s22 ultra and I have tried a way to enroll to beta program.
If i change csc to BTU it will change automatically to EUX but not a full change because i still have the operator coding EVR. All i get after reflashing csc is EUX/-/EUX/EVR and no ota updates. From what i have reed Samsung has changed BTU with EUX for faster updates at least for S22 Ultra.

so when you tried to change csc first using Samfw before flashing these files it did not work? but when you flashed these files and then changed csc it worked ?

this is my issue that I faced with S22U, if you can kindly check that.
some people managed to change csc using samfw with no issues, but could not find anyone who changed the Korean Variant S908N from KTC to KOO.
So do you suggest to try your steps ?

KTC and KOO are in N model, so you can try.
The firwares are original.
If your device is network locked to sim cards of your oprator - it may not work, but you can flash back to KTC.

no the phone is not locked to a sim.
right now I'm outside of Korea and I'm using the phone with a non Korean provider and it is working fine.
I'm just trying to change csc to be able to remove the ktc bloatware and settings from the device.
Anyways so i will need to use Odin to flash these files : BL, AP, CP and HOME_CSC (not CSC_) files.
then after that the phone will restart then I change csc with samfw?

ZTO here too (Brazil of course). Why don't you install INS firmware under ZTO (using the update from 01/08 that is the same here and HOME_CSC to keep your data unmodified)?
After that, install the beta update through ADB or Alliance. I did that and worked like a charm.

P.S.
Another friend with A13 (SM-A137F) EUX could not change at beginning.
Flash with EGY and then changed successfully to EGY with call recording.

I just checked Samfirm and for A13, EUX and EGY belong to different multiCSC (OXM and OJM)
So it makes sense that u need to flash EGY firmware first to change from OXM to OJM
In his case, all Korean CSCs, including unlocked KOO, belong to OKR multiCSC, and I heard that Samsung specifically blocked CSC changes with Samfw and Samkey in newer phones (S21/S22 etc) for Korea (N model).

Changing G970F (Exynos) CSC from XID to OXM Android 12

My phone was originally TEL/TEL/TEL (Australia) in an OXM multi-CSC. I tried factory reset with am Israeli SIM but the CSC didn't change to ILO. So in order to get call recording, I flashed XID firmware with Odin, which worked fine (Android 11). I now have XID/XID/TEL with an OLE CSC on Android 12. But there is Indonesian bloat that I'd prefer not to have.
Can I flash OXM back with Odin now (with HOME_CSC to avoid factory reset) and have it pick up ILO from my SIM card? I don't want to use Samkey or unlock my bootloader; if that's the only option I'll just keep XID. I would try, but I'm worried it will default to TEL instead of ILO, and not let me flash XID again (Android 12?) and then I'll be stuck without call recording.

You can remove the bloats using adb app control. you don't need to worry about other things
