I've tried two different kernels (a kernel and stormbreaker x2), neither with which I could adjust the frequencies. This only seems to occur on WaveOS, so maybe it's a vendor problem. Any ideas?
Also tried two different kernel managers (Franco and SmartPack). Magisk 22.1

hi yall

"Voice Booster" on
"HANDSET RX" 100%
but cannot save those settings after reboot they gone defualt values...
i have this phone 4 one week top's and its dissepoint me every time...
the main (my opinion) problems of this phone are :
1) AT&T not releasing 2.2 at all
2) no HAC (Hearing Aid Compatible)
3) suXAss battery life
4) lousy speaker
is there any way to save this settings or enable the HAC??
regards
ISR
it resets after reboot. answer: don't reboot.
is there any chance that using diffrent kernel or Modem will solve this problem?
is there a defualt captivate 2.2 modem??
well 2.2 is certainly available for a custom ROM, and no doubt will outperform any "official" release
Hearing aids cant really be added, and battery life even bone stock isnt great on the phone and with roms its not any better in most cases worse, perhaps some undervolting may help but thats tricky
hmmm
got some skills overclocking and undervolting my good n'old Milestone A853

is there any "undervolting thread" for the capy?
Try suckerpunch kernel for oc/uv.
Hello,
the forum rules do not allow to post in "Development" section, so I am posting here.
I've installed CM 7.2 ROM for ChaCha from this Thread. (Build date: 20120824).
After reboot everything looked normal, there were minor lags, but since this was my first custom ROM, I assumed that it could be related to my performance settings (Governor: conservative CPU: 245 - 800Mhz). I've switched off all data connections (gps, mobile network, wifi) and disabled all animations to see how much battery it will consume in first 24 hours. To my surprise, the phone was off and battery was completely empty in the next morning.
I've installed CPU+Temp system widget to monitor CPU load. The widget showed that on idle system CPU usage was 98%-100% on maximum allowed frequency. After reboot the idle system CPU was normal - 1-10% on 245Mhz. Then I switched on Wifi and noticed that CPUusage started to increase. I've disabled wifi but CPU usage was up to maximum and didn't drop until reboot. I found that the same problem occurs with mobile network connection.
I opened Terminal and typed "top -m 6" to see which process is using the CPU. I found that system_server.so was taking up to 90% of CPU when the problem occured. "top -m 6 -t" showed that GPSLocationProvider thread of system_server.so was using all the CPU, in despite that GPS was always off.
I've started to search the solution of this problem and found this thread, which described that the problem is that librpc.so is not compatible with HTC gps drivers.
Then I've tried SuperOSR ROM and CM9 ROM. Both did not have this problem, which was interesting since SuperOSR is very similar to CM7.2. I've returned to CM7.2 and tried to solve the problem.
I updated the HTC drivers to the latest level (gps.chacha.so and others from the latest stock rom), but it did not affected the problem.
Then I did the binary compare of /lib/*.so between CM7.2 and SuperOSR and found that just a few libs was different. One of them was above mentioned librpc.so. I've installed librpc.so from SuperOSR to CM7.2 and the problem was gone.
The CPU usage now is 0%-4% when system is idle.
I hope that it will help others which is affected by this problem and I also wish that this bug could be solved in CM7.2.
can we use this metode for CM9?
HTC Chacha with CM9
This problem is not reproduceable on CM9 on my device. I believe you have different problem with similar symptoms. If you are experiencing 100% CPU load on idle device, open terminal and run "top -m 6" to find which process is using CPU and "top -m 6 -t" to find specific thread.
More likely you are running some widget which causes hang.
Thanks for the info! CPU usage was fixed to %100 before I did what you said! Thanks again :cyclops:
Hi guys I have been using CM 11 on my Galaxy Note 8.0 for some time, since I prefer the stock UI to TouchWiz. It is also convenient to be able to mount an NTFS formatted external drive w/o any third party solution. However, I noticed that BT audio skips quite a bit to the point where it would make listening to music through my BT adapter or headphones annoying or unbearable. The issue appears only when the screen is locked (no skipping occurs when the screen is on) Has anyone else encountered this issue?
I believe I found a way to fix this issue. I basically enabled development settings by tapping build number a couple times, then I went into performance and changed the governor from pegasusq to ondemand. This appears to have resolved the BT audio skipping. If anyone else has experienced this problem, I would like for them to try this quick fix and let me know if it works!
EDIT - the performance governor also seems to resolve the BT issue while at the same time improving game performance.
The thread was moved to an incorrect device forum. This only refers to the GT-N5110 - Galaxy Note 8.0 WiFi. I let a forum administrator know.
There are 3 CM11 ROMs for the 3 variants of the Note 8.0. Which one are you referring to?

My bad for not specifying. I was referring to the N5110
hi everyone,
Couple of issues I have with the Onplus that I can't solve.
1. I installed AK kernel on my BlissPOP ROM to try and fix an issue with mucis via bluetooth.
Every few seconds, the music will stop as if the BT connection is lost and then it will come back again.
Making the experience very bad. Someone suggested I should install AK kernel and set min 2 cores when screen is off to solve the issue. I did so but it didn't help at all.
2. After installing the AK kernel, the screen gamma/contrast is very poor and I can't find how to reset the settings, so I'd really appreciate if someone can tell me what are the default gamma settings.
Thanks!
i was running idle kernel 6.6.5 with no problems and when i flashed 6.6.2 everything i tried to download even google play store the downloads would stop at 95%, I also cant run a benchmark with antutu or quadrant standard with out them failing or stop working/unexpected error or fc. i currently have it overclocked at 2.7 and undervolted to [email protected], scheduler set to noop etc. I do not have any problems with the 6.6.5 at these settings. any advice or help would be appreciated. Thanks for all your hard work. keep it up.
