Hi there!
I'm wondering if I can install ANX camera on my poco X3 pro. However I can't see my device on ANX Official Site So, I'm a bit worried.
Is it possible to install other Xiaomi Device (ANX) camera on Poco X3 Pro?

Still not
Since GCam is working very well on RN7 I gave up on ANXCam also because of bugs and force closes.
I see ANXCameraUnity_190 is from 2020-08-01, on Poco X3 Pro MIUI 12.0.5 the Camera App is v4.3 and I could not find the date of this version.
Because I'm interested in the Steady Video experience I'm also interested if an ANX App with that feature works an vaju/bhima Custom ROMs - I plan to migrate to crDroid as daily driver.
On the Supported Devices not even Poco X3 NFC is listed so I think there is not much active development, also Steady Video is not listed on the ANXCam Features.
I've tried to adopt it and this is the best result for now(I've also tried to add device_features from vendor patition and result was even worse)
Superwide doesn't work
Front famera doesn't work
Supermacro doesn't work
Portait mode works through macro module
You found an anx camera workint on poco x3 pro?

Hi,
I've been researching a lot about Motion Photos in Gcam. Before, on my Mi A1, motion photos worked great, but with the Xiaomi Phones with Snapdragon 845 I can't seem to fix it. I've tried every possible setting and many different builds.
From what I've read the problem is that Gcam uses the YUV format for Motion Pictures and that Xiaomi doesn't provide the correct drivers for the Snapdragon 845 for it. This is also the problem with Mi 8 and Poco F1. Does anyone know if this is true and if devs can work around this, or we just have to live with the fact that we never can use the feature Motion Photos?
Or is this something devs can fix in a custom kernel? CC: @Arnova8G2
Greetings, Remy
PS: I also post this thread in the Poco forums, but nobody replied

We are missing Level3, this only Xiaomi can fix.
So unless they fix their mess, devs are with tied hands.
Long story short, yes you are right about YUV.
Thanks for your fast explanation. Let's hope for the best
Does ANX Camera APK support Realme 5 Pro and also 48 MP
Wanted to ask the same question as ANXCamera offers EIS in 4K video.
Would be great if somebody could make ANXC work on Realme 5 Pro.
No. Although ANX camera is suposed to work with 48 megapixel I tried several versions and fixes for it without success. I'd not bother with anx camera until it officially supports out device (I doubt it'll).
Hi,
Isnt there any realme camera that provides you this features?

please a question, the xiaomi mi 11 Pro will not be released globally? I researched and would like this information please.. a seller Aliexpress said he can change the language, because the chinese version has only chinese and english .. maybe flash another rom. he said that doing this will take another 15 days to send. saw a tutorial that make the global flash rom in minutes. work 5g in Brazil?
There is another problem, when you use not global version, chinese changed soft you will not have netflix on HD etc
Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro can be very easily converted from Chinese Version to Global or EEA.

Whatever, but chinese version dont have wideline certificate in partition perst. Then netflix wont work in HD. On xiaomi global rom too
so it doesn't worth to get the pro variant on Europe, no?

How to do this? Do you have any links?
I am planning to buy Mi 11 pro CN since Xiaomi 12 does not seem to have an IP68 rating
Hi,
All information you can find at this forum but first you must unlock bootloader (official unlock through Xiaomi) and it takes 7 days. After that you can choose right for you ROM (Global - hevily based on Google Apps, EEA - less Google Apps, EU Custom - close to original Chinese ROM). I sold my 11 Pro but now I regret it.
Just buy it and after that contact me again. In meantime you can register to Xiaomi.
Regards

Why do you regret it? The camera it's awful, no Desktop Mode, USB 2.0 instead of 3.1....

Camera isn't awful - most flagship smartphones have similar cameras now, they all perform really good
Which global Xiaomi smartphone has desktop mode? MIUI+ is still in beta and only available in China (MIUI+ doesn't even have english interface)
And no Xiaomi phone has USB 3.1 - they all have USB 2.0, including the recently announced Xiaomi 12 phones..
That's why I've said that Xiaomi phones are awful. About the camera, I can disagree with you, even a P30 Pro that's a 3-year-old device is performing better than a Mi 11 Pro....

Sorry, You are wrong about the camera. Just got my 11 pro which I also had before and then sold it (just had to return to it ) In the meantime I had p30 pro, p40 pro, S21 Ultra, Find x2 pro...The Xiaomi is better than those smartphones, at least in my eyes.

Why do you say it's better? The zoom's awful, night photos are pretty bad, and daylight photos are not ok. Also, no Desktop Mode, USB 2.0, and software with bugs, you need to complicate with Xiaomi.EU rom to solve this...
I really hate that Huawei doesn't have GMS anymore, otherwise I would pick a P50 Pro/Mate 40 Pro with my eyes closed cause my S20+ sucks.
I have the Pro-version. Have also had standard Mi 11 and Mi 11 Ultra. For some reason I get clearly better battery life on 11 Pro compared to both 11 and 11 Ultra. Not sure why. I think the better battery life is the biggest advantage for me with 11 Pro over the standard Mi 11. The GN2 sensor on 11 Pro is really good but not that much better than the HMX-sensor in Mi 11. Sometimes I think that the 27MP binned photos from Mi 11 may be preferable since I like detailed photos.
Poco UI will be like a MIUI based OS for Poco devices like what Joy UI is for Black Shark devices.
Poco will be releasing the Poco UI for Poco devices at the end of 2021:
Source: https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/05/13/poco-ui-confirmed-to-arrive-in-late-2021/
I've asked on Xiaomi.EU forum on the possibility of support for Poco UI and it seems like they will likely not support Poco UI in the future.
Poco devices that do not have Chinese equivalent devices, affected by this change to Poco UI and will NOT receive Xiaomi.EU roms in 2022 and beyond: Poco X3, Poco X3 Pro and Poco M3.
Devices affected by this change, but will still receive Xiaomi.EU rom support in the future since these devices are based on Chinese Redmi devices: Poco F2 Pro (Redmi K20 Pro in China) and Poco F3 (Redmi K40 in China).
The Poco F1 will not be affected by this change since the device is EOL for firmware updates.
Aosp is what's important anyway
Damn, I just bought a X3 Pro.
I hope the PocoUI doesn't mean Android 12 will be difficult or slower to get custom roms for.
What`s the problem guys? We have so many custom ROMs, GSI`s. Just unlock the bootloader and flash what ever you want.

I agree... to me (but I may be mistaken), xiaomi.eu was mostly usefull to shady vendors who wanted to import phones in markets where they should not be sold... which is often a scam in the end for the buyer since they get a warranty-void device.
So, ok, maybe xiaomi.eu was the first "custom ROM" for Poco X3 Pro, but if you take the step of unlocking and flashing, why would you stay on this? You'd go to a really nice custom ROM....
Maybe I'm missing a point?
May be you`re right. But I really dont like MIUI/RealmeUI and other similar shells. I prefer the clear native Android. So this new does not disturb me very much.
Some people just like the built-in features. They don't want to download some apps or modules to get features.
Personally have 1 complete stock, 1 Xiaomi.eu, and 1 ArrowOS.
Both MIUI drain battery faster, even if debloat with root.
Put custom kernel in Xiaomi.eu, but still drains faster than ArrowOS with custom kernel.
Well I use Poco X3 Pro mainly to film short videos and edit them in Apps for Social Media.
Stock Cam Steady Video is very Smooth and Stable and so far no GCam got me that (Hope the Arnova build - still in closed beta - might improve this).
Since AnxCam Dev seems inactive I'm worried if I ever have the chance to get the Steady Video experience on a Custom ROM, for all the rest I would totally like to switch to crDroid and kick MIUI.

I'm planning to use xiaomi.eu which should have the Stock Cam experience with a few Extras (Dual Video, AI Watermark, ...). Need to check Steady Video in comparison tough.
Is the official EOL for Poco X3 Pro firmware updates known?
EDIT: ok I found this on mi.com/global "Xiaomi Security Updates"
We release monthly and quarterly security patch updates on Xiaomi devices for at least two years after product listing in the marketplace. Monthly and quarterly security updates will include Android security patches released by Google, as well as patches for Xiaomi-specific issues.

So for Poco X3 Pro this means Updates "at least" until March/April 2023.
I also found this stating that a MIUI 13 update is possible for X3 Pro: devices eligible for the MIUI 13 update.
So let's hope Poco UI does not go official as planned at the end of 2021 or at least is not an immediate replacement for MIUI on Poco so that we will receive MIUI 13 and updates until Q1/Q2 2022 at least and so also xiaomi.eu Updates. That still leaves us with one year of uncertainty regarding MIUI/xiaomi.eu Updates.
By the end of this year, Poco has already announced it on the Poco Community forum.
However, it's not 100% confirmed that Xiaomi.EU will stop supporting Poco devices with Poco UI.
It depends on how different it is to MIUI, if it's anything like Joy UI then it's Xiaomi.EU is likely to drop support for Poco UI devices in the future.

You are right though. That was the whole point of EU Rom
A few months later, in September, this might really be the case.
The most recent POCO launches for F3 GT and X3 GT are on Mediatek (Dimensity 1200/1100 respectively) and I doubt they can even support Xiaomi EU roms.
In the future, we might see more Poco launches with this Dimensity SoC.
Hi,
I would like to change my Mi 9 Lite by a Poco X5 Pro to have something better in term of performances and photo.
Is there a tutorial to Root it ?
And GCam is improving really the camera or not ? If yes, which one working like a charm ?
Thanks for answers before buying one...
unlock bootloader and flash magisk.
usually, xiaomi phones oversea version have more lightweight system than China version.
I dont know anything about google camera.
Body else to help me more ?
And IS it better to buy redmi note 12 pro plus or Poco x5 pro ?
Thks
From some websites I saw they're almost or completely the same(maybe they're cn/oversea version).
Oh look at what I found!
Redmi Note12 Pro Plus / POCO X5 Pro 5G redwood 12.27.2022
Their code are same but their system may be different. You can see some testing videos and decide which to buy
