I have a samsung galaxy a51 device, running android11 with an exynos9611 cpu, and dub2 firmware, I found a tutorial on this site to root my phone, but it has dub1 version, so I decided not to follow it, because I do not want to brick my phone, so if anyone knows if the dub version matters or not when rooting, please let me know, because I want to root my phone safely, this being the first time I root a device. Thank you.

Hi everyone,
i have been searching for 2 weeks how to root this phone, but no luck yet. I am saying no luck for a proper way to do it , because you can do it with the avant method, or by using the CF method which uses the SM-G386T firmware, and for reading lots of forums, i know it works, but the problem is if i ever want to update later, i would not be able to do so. I already have the firmware for my phone, G386WVLU1ANJ1, running android 4.4.2 KITKAT, and i have extracted the recovery.img from the firmware file. I am searching how to unlock the bootloader so i can apply whatever rooting method i want. Since i am new to this, i need some information. If i ever want to use the CF-Auto-Root method using the SM-G368T model, can i go back to stock phone whenever needed by flashing recovery image from the SM-G386W ?. If not, is there any other method i can use, preferably one that doesn't trip my KNOX flag to 0x01. Until now i have tried 2 methods, Towelroot and Z4root, which didn't work at all. The main reason i want to root is i want to get rid of the bloatware installed by default on my phone and gain control of my phone without any restrictions, and customizing it.
Please need help.
Thank you very much
P.S: can anyone recommend some reading about rooting android phones?

I also own one of these phones and would like to root the phone to get rid of bloat ware and make the phone run smoother. I would appreciate if you could give a quick run down on how you managed your root. Greatly appreciated.

I've never rooted or flashed my phone before, and I've been wanting to do it for a while but a bit scared to. Don't want to brick my phone.
So to begin with, I wanted to root my Samsung Galaxy S4. I believe the model is sgh m919n. So if you guys could direct me to the correct software to use to root my phone, that would be great! Also I'm on version 4.4.4 just in case that's needed.
Thank you so much.

you need odin and files for cf autoroot from here https://autoroot.chainfire.eu/
search cf auto root for more instructions, also you will need twrp recovery for your device before proceding
I guess s4 has a forum in xda.
U can find everything there.
And yeah.
Rooting won't kill ur phone.
For the twrp, do I have to root my phone first or can I do it before I root it?
I bought an unlocked Galaxy J3 (SM-J320A) and i badly want to root it. The 320A is supposedly AT&T, but there's no bloatware or anything on it. The phone doesn't say AT&T anywhere. I'm using it with TracFone. If anyone knows how to root it, please post. By the way, I'm on Marshmallow 6.0.1.
Any news about this? I have the same problem.
According to a post i found on twitter by srsroot, their app is supposed to be able to root this phone (J320A). I tried it and it says rooting complete but the phone isn't rooted.
I have an AT&T Galaxy Tab E (SM-T377A) and I need to root it, but I haven't been able to find any guides or .tar files to flash. I have found guides for the sprint version (SM-T377P), but I'm afraid that will screw something up if I try it.
Is it even possible?
Thanks for the help.
Not that I'm any help...
But I've got the same device and up against the same issue. I read on TECH Advisors web page and it suggested stumproot.org to root it. But I installed it and followed all the instructions but says my device isn't supported. So I believe our devices are too new....hope you find a way though and if so please let me know.
I'd like to know if there 's a way to root it, I recall seening a thread where you would have to downgrade to LP just to get it rooted, but that comes with risk and I like the marshmallow rom much better, so I hope that there's a way soon
I have a Samsung galaxy s7 (heroqlteusc), android 8.0.0, U.S cellular thingy, with unlocked OEM,
