Basically, whenever I install emojis from Android Pie and above, the round emojis are only displayed in Facebook and Messenger, everywhere else the blobs are displayed. Only the ones from Oreo displayed correctly. Are there any possible ways to fix that? I'm using (actually still have to use) an Oppo A39, running ColorOS 3 on top of Android L.

Hi guys, when i recieve message from whatsapp contacts or group which have special emojis in their name (like the different skin tone) i see squares instead of emojis (see attachment). I can see them correctly when i open the chat.

Same, but I can't also see the emojis of the message and/or in the contact/group names, not only in the contact/group names.
Damn I have the same problem currently too. Has this been resolved?
I'm currently using a Z5 Compact with XPower v4 ROM and a WhatsApp Beta release.

Maybe its because your system doesn't recognize/support the emojis. Try flashing/replacing the emojis with the ones from android N.
This is a common problem that all people had,this problem caused by the app wanted to show the emoji in the notifications,but due to lacks of system built-in emoji,the emoji could'nt be displayed instead the system using the squares box to make mark that the chat had a emoji in it.
possible way to fix this is by:
flash a new emoji flashable zip from developer or
flash a custom rom

Frustrated former iPhone user here. How can I get my notifications on my One Plus to display in chronological order with the most recent at top? This is the simple default in iOS yet I can't figure it out on Android. I'm missing important text messages because I will have notifications from 6 to 8 hours ago on top of my notifications list!
What Does A Custom ROM DEPEND on?
So unfortunately my phone, being an amazon phone, isn't a popular device and has NO custom roms available, I struggled to find a TWRP file but I FINALLY found one. Does the rom depend on architecture? Chip? Screen Size? Camera? What makes a BV A80 Pro (Same phone just a slightly differnt chip and the Pro doesn't have NFC) lineage os ROM (BV A80 Pro has an LOS Custom ROM) not work on a BV A80 Plus? I couldn't find an answer on google and I know people here are smart (Except me) I really want Lineage OS, Havoc OS, Bliss or AOISP. How would I get one of these on my device?
Upgrading to android 11 or 12:
My phone has Android Q and I asked the company if my phone will ever receive an update past Q, They said no and I don't have the money to go buy a new phone. I flashed an A11 GSI in TWRP but it says "Cant flash system files to system" or something like that. How would I update it to A11?
System Apps:
Bloatware, Bloatware, BLOATWARE! I HATE IT! I don't know what flash file to edit, nor do I know how I would go about editing it so that I can remove the bloatware and add some apps. Help here would be great!
Aesthetics Editing:
So I recently rooted my phone (BV A80 Plus), and I only rooted my phone because I specifically bought the red version of that phone because I like red. Unfortunately, all the buttons, volume panel, settings app text, toggle switches and quick settings tiles are blue. Its not an attractive contrast and I wanted a way to make that blue accent a nice red. I tried the Dev options accent color, but it doesn't change every accent, it only changes the text accent. Everything else stays blue. I tried Swift installer AND substratum, but those tiles still stay blue... So I looked into my phones System UI apk, and I found that there is a separate color input for the tiles under res/values/colors. I don't know how to change that color so I guess I'm asking for a little help with that.
Is Another UI Possible On Stock Android?
Is it possible to replace the boring stock UI with a different one? Like One UI or Mi UI?

I upgraded my Pixel 3a to Android 12 last night - stock OTA. Noticed today that websites that specify serif fonts for elements (and including the generic 'serif' fallback, so it's not a question of missing specific fonts) are now all displaying as sans-serif, both in Firefox in Chrome. Is this a general Android 12 issue, or is something up with my phone? And if it's a general Android 12 thing, are there Magisk or Xposed modules I can install to restore serif fonts? It's really messing with me.

EDIT: just to add - I'm aware of the Font Manager Magisk module, but that doesn't solve the problem because if I install a serif font though that, I then don't have sans-serif text anywhere. I want websites to be able to use both, which feels like it shouldn't be a big ask in 2022...

Just upgraded to OOS 12 from 11 and have been having some issues with the update. I also did a factory reset to make sure everything sticks and blends well.
I have noticed that under the notification area, either on notification drawer or Lock Screen, the contact name is set at the very top in small font, vs how it used to be in the main body itself.
See screenshot below:
It used to be something like "Andrew sent a snap" etc....
I was googling the issue and noticed a post about that as well, I was wondering if anyone else having the same issue?
Many say that a lot of things that were missing or not working properly in OOS12 (A12 in general) were fixed in OOS13 (A13).
So check that if you don't find how to fix this issue.
