Hello everyone. I have rooted my oneplus 6 facing a stupid tiny problem with my app banking: usually it's possibile to use the "easy access" that get logged without enter the temporary code genereted by the token of the bank.
Once did the root process, my easy access is always set on but when I try to log in it ask me the code token. The bank support says that isn't possible with a rooted device so I hidden the app in magisk and changed the name of the package but the problem is still here. I pass safetyNet and my device is certified on playstore. Also tried to uninstall all apps with root access, hidden magisk by "hidden space" of my oneplus. Any idea?
This is my app, can you take a look, please? Thanks

I followed all your steps but nothing works. The app need to have phone permissions in order to start. I can't revoke it.
Try hiding magisk manager in settings
If you want to make your Google Pay work, make sure you followed those steps below
Use AOSP/LOS or OEM Based rom. MIUI 7 and 8 have problems with SafetyNet [Even if you have Magisk installed]
***MOST IMPORTANT***
[###ROOT###]
Check your Selinux Mode in the About Phone section in Settings.
Selinux is another Google Protection featured with Kitkat in 2014
If you have Permissive, change it to Enforcing using this app [Download Attached Files]
Reboot after applying Enforcing. Don't Delete Selinux Mode Changer, You will lose your Enforcing and will be switched back to Permissive
Use Magisk only - Don't use SuperSu, it doesn't have Hiding features and it is not supported anymore
If magisk triggers your SafetyNet (Main reason why Google pay stops working) install the SafetyPatch module or Magisk Hide Props or check your SafetyNet. That will fix your safety net.
Don't use XPOSED, it will trigger safety net even if magisk hide working. Xposed modify Boot.IMG, the reason for the safety net to trigger. If you cant live without Xposed, use EDXPOSED magisk module, install Riru core, riru edxposed and Xposed installer that will not trigger your safety net (Please note: Android 5.1 Android 6.0 get bootloop because of EdXposed, sorry guys no luck)
Don't Update you GOOGLE PAY - google updates security patch, magisk too Update your Google pay rarely
Always update your magisk and try to download magisk from Github.
Check your Safety net and make sure your Selinux is in Enforcing Mode
???
If that helped you, you are welcome
thanks for this solution.
Regards
Ginifa

Not able to install

That Google Pay image says your phone is rooted, but it says that as an example as what could have tripped off Safety Net.
Safety Net failing doesn't mean you a rooted. Safety Net is designed to fail if you have an Unlocked bootloader.

It sucks, but for things like Google Pay, I'd strongly suggest that you just give up. Google is contractually obligated to play this game with you and try to prevent you from using it on a rooted "insecure" device so they can process card payments.
I have moto G5+ with unlocked bootloader and magisk. Google pay works fine and saftey net does not fail if bootloader is unlocked
I have a custom rom. Only way to get Magist working was to install EdXposed and hide module. SafetyNet Test also says safetynet passes but my gpay doesnt want to work. Assuming its seeing edxposed perhaps. Anything else i can do

Tutuapp Movie HD Cokernutx
Google Play warns me to uninstall SELinux Changer, then shuts my phone down. I tried uninstalling it then rebooting, but the phone is behaving extremely oddly and shutting down by itself.
Now I have to format it, just to be sure.

In order for certain apps to work your device will need to pass safetynet check some apps include banking, entertainment and even a few games. You can check this from within Magisk Manger itself. Some custom roms do not support safetynet and therefore it will not pass while on those roms. However, most do such as LineageOS among others. If you need to pass safetynet then making sure software and vendor is updated is your first step, I don't know all the steps as I am unfamiliar with the process but this applies for any device with Magisk not just the OnePlus 7

Saftynet is okei... So what should i do now?
Considering your passing it, you may want to contact the devs of your rom on this one. Not sure why it wouldn't work even with a successful check but that is your best bet assuming your not on stock that is.
I have Oneplus 8 pro . and i have same problem,
the bank app updated their safety and the old way don't work.
also i pass saftynet.

XPrivacyLua together Magisk Hide is enough.
Try using my app VD INFOS, you can see every detectable thing. (Root/Magisk/Xposed/Riru/and others.)
And then you can fix what needs to be fixed.

I'm facing exactly the same issue, my bank's app checks if OEM unlock is active and if so, it fails to start. This thing cannot be hid by Magisk.

You can hide it easily.
Just unlock bootloader first and then, erase nvdata.
Nvdata contains developer settings, like "oem unlock".
But, if you aready have an unlocked bootloader, the settings "oem unlock" doesn't change nothing.
Recently I changed my phones display and the in-display finger print doesn't work anymore so I need to remove fingerprint authentication from magisk. So after searching online I didn't find a workaround so I'm thinking off uninstalling the magisk manager app. Will it remove my root data?

It shouldn't. Do you want to remove Magisk and root or are you trying to keep root but remove Magisk?

I want to keep root as it is necessary for my phone's imei to work but I just need to remove fingerprint authentication. Someone told me removing magisk manager app can remove fingerprint.

If you remove Magisk Manager, root will be useless to you because Magisk Manager is what let's you control what you do with root. I'm not sure about fingerprint, I think the fact that you are rooted is causing that issue, not Magisk Manager.

I have problem to enroll device on company portal(intune)
"Can't create work profile because policy prevents custom OS"
Device status : rooted
Are there any way to enroll Work profile(intune) on knox tripped
There are magisk modules available, but they are not stable. Intune will detect root after a few days and your work profile will stop working.
I also need workprofile on my phone, hence have not rooted.

Lsposed module knokpatch like the other user said. Or use a custom rom with work profile patched, like BeyondRom. This assuming intune will work as the samsung secure folder works.
Also dont forget fix safetynet and you can use shamiko too. and hide root from intune, and from the normal apps in magisk.
If you have or install lsposed you can use hide my applist module too to hide any app or multiple you want from the apps you choose to not see them
