I apologize in advance for my english. I found out such a problem - when the device is connected to the car via bluetooth, the connection status is "Connected (except audio)". If I disable AAC for this connection, the checkbox will still return to the "Enabled" status when I close settings. When I try to change the audio codec in developer mode, the changes are also not saved and are reset to "default" after close dev. settings. Car of 2020(suzuki vitara), this problem did not arise on the stable rom. I also tried to delete the connection, restart the phone and car media center - to no avail. The only problem is with this connection, the headphones work without problems.
Problem start after update to Android 11, before it car connected and use SBC codec, but now always use AAC and I can't change this.
Hi, did the update solved this problem? For me the only solution was to stay on latest 12.0 based rom. I am wondering if with the 12.5.6 enhanced version they solved this annoying problem.

unfortunately all firmware versions with android 11 contain this problem (global, ru, eu, Indonesia, China). and even the weekly Chinese rom with 12.6 latest build contains this problem. I hope android 12 will solve this problem.

Thank you very much for your answer, I did try all of them too and not a solution. Let's hope for Android 12. It seems like Miui read AAC codec for calls and sets the priority on AAC as well for multimedia for that audio source.
Hi BlackSunVRN, do you still have Mi10T? Do you know if the problem still exists on latestes update?

Anyone got Viper4Android to work with this new version? No luck for me. All the methods which worked with the previous version failed. One method got it installed, but it stopped processing as soon as a audiofile is played.
Edit: This guide and files worked (once again) after several installs of the driver and reboots. https://forum.xda-developers.com/poco-f1/how-to/viper4android-patch-miui-11-base-t4039117

Follow this method:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-7/how-to/dolby-digital-plus-viper4-miui-pie-rom-t3958080
After all open viperfx and install driver, device will reboot in loop.
Now go to recovery and flash viper patch:

Works fine in latest miui.eu 11 android Q

After nearly 24 hrs test, I'm feeling some improvement on battery life and the drain is less than previous update
48 hours later: ROM is defective as previous v11.0.4.
crash / reboot / losing app preferences config / mock location unstable / crashing
No such issues with 11.0.4. Did you try to do a factory reset? Usually it helps with such strange issues.

This started happening after OTA update to 11.0.4
I've manually updated to 11.0.6 but same thing.
Thanks for the suggestion. I did that in the past with another Xiaomi device but the thing is that I'd like to avoid losing everything & restart from scratch...
I tried to clean all data/cache for all apps with a cleaner but without luck.
I'm hoping that a newer ROM will be able to fix the issue... Maybe I'm wrong... Will see with next update...
I have sent numerous crash bug reports to Xiaomi but they never bothered to contact me about it.
It seems they don't care or are too busy.
Give it a try, I saw a lot of reports where a factory reset solved such bizarre problems happening after major software change.
After flashing this I find out it is a Chinese ROM not the EU one and having issues with sim card not being recognized.......a lot of issues later I got the Sim card working again so be careful......

"euro" rom !?
do you mean global?
I used the one shared by subhraw here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=81926515&postcount=3
instead of laughing you should tell us why you think it's a chinese only rom...
normally you cannot update a global rom with a chinese rom without doing a flash update
I did NOT use a flash tool (used instead MIUI update option)
so this is probably not a chinese only but a beta global ROM but I might be wrong...

Hi, a simple question, which one is the Oneplus 8 (standard EU) last Android Oxygen 11 beta or, better, stable version?
I have installed the build OP8_02_DP_4 on my Oneplus 8 EU standard version model and I have several problems with Google Pay using contactless and NFC protocol and also with GPS localiazion on multiple apps.
Someone else has the the same problems?
There are patches or workarounds for these issues ?
Is there a newer version of Oxygen 11 (official would be the best solution) that fixes these problems?
Thanks in advance for the attention.

Well these are DPs so it obviously has problems. The best thing would be to wait for the official release (but it's not out yet), or you can revert back to OOS 10.
Hi thanks for the hint, but I suppose that a version downgrade will necessarily requires a wipe and a complete personal data loss and configuration, correct?
Thanks in advance.

Yep, it will require that, if you don't want to lose data you can just wait till the official version is released, or you can do a backup of your app's data and revert back to Android 10.
A couple of days ago I installed on my Poco F2 Pro (via OTA) the MIUI Global Stable 12.2.4.0 (RJKEUXM), android version 11, RKQ1.200826.002.
After this 'upgrade' I am experiencing major bugs (1. no storage for dual apps in file manager. 2. Apps can only be installed directly from google play store 3. Many links, posted in apps like WhatsApp, don't open. 4. Under File Manager, the option 'Open in another app', doesn't work properly as the 'other apps shown' are not the correct ones. 5. No notifications for apps like WhatsApp, Viber, Messenger. 5. Some apps crash, .etc etc.
I have the bootloader locked, is there a way that I can revert to the previous MIUI 12 Android 10 (V 12.0.3.0 QJKEUXM) flashing the recovery rom through the updater without losing all the data, apps and settings?
Or the only option is to flash the fastboot rom with mi flash or the recovery rom with twrp?
in doing so, is there any problem with the ARB feature risking to brick the phone?
Thanks
flash the fastboot rom with mi flash is better but before you can try flash https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/miui/lmi/stable/V12.2.4.0.RJKEUXM/ with miflash(cleanall option)
Unlockbootloader mandatory.
Waiting for the authorization to unlock the bootloader (168 hours), shall I try with factory reset to check if it solves my problems with the MIUI 12 Android 11?
Thanks

Then I will unlock and flash the previous version of the stock MIUI 12 (Android 10). But is there any problem in flashing a previous version of the ROM? I am referring to the ARB feature. Though, as far as I know, if there is any problem with the ARB, MiFlash will not flash the ROM.
Thanks

just remove a few lines of code from a rom file (https://www.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-anti-rollback-protection-brick-phone/).
But ARB is not systematic, try it first.
And flash a global rom.

After the numerous serious bugs mentioned in my first post, i reverted to the MIUI Global Stable 12.0.3.0 (QJKEUXM) Android 10, and my Poco F2 Pro has been working fine since then.
Does anyone know if the major bugs (I guess mostly due to Android 11) have been solved with the latest system update MIUI Global Stable 12.5.1.0 (RJKEUXM)?
I am quite reluctant to install any update based on Android 11 after the mess happened to my phone last January.
Thanks

RJKRUXM=Russian rom
RJKCNXM=Chinesse rom
RJKTRXM=turkish rom
RJKIDXM=Indonesian ROM
Miui custom rom

Hello all, i have a Realme 5 Pro Eu version running the latest RMX1971_11_C.12 firmware but in 2020 after the Android 10/ColorOS 7 update, i had some issues. The battery drains faster, i lost the FM radio app and sometimes the fingerprint sensor does not work. I know there's an offical Realme rom to downgrade to Android 9 but i think it's from a different region (India?). I can't use a different region rom, right? On the Realme Europe support page, the roms are "RMX1971EU" but the offical Android 9 rollback back it's "RMX1971EX_11_OTA_2010_all" . What's the difference between EU and EX roms?

Thank you
I changed the region of my phone from EU to "Multilingual Version EX" with this method https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...dated-instructions-now-working-again.4143415/ and it worked because after rebooting i got the Theme Store and the FM Radio app again.
After that i flashed the phone with the official Realme 5 Pro Android 9 rollback rom and it worked too . I'm back to Android 9/Color 6 and both theme store and FM radio app remained. Now i'm on firmware RMX1971EX_11_A.20
So now let's see if both my battery drain and fingerprint sensor problems are solved. I think now i can unlock the bootloader too. Well, If you have an EU Realme phone and you want to change region for some reason, this method works.

People, the problem seems to POCO Launcher.. i'm using nova launcher since last night and no reboot happened at least until now, zero reboots overnight in idle mode.
