The Google camera for the exynos s7 is crashing after updating to Oreo. Is there a working version which takes pirtrait photos both from front and rear camera in Oreo?

Thanks. Using 8.3b version in s7 stock oreo. Disabled camera micro in the developer settings. The front portraits look good but they are coming in pinkinsh tone. What's the fix for that?

I already told it is for PIE , for Oreo u need version 5 or below.
Hi, got Pie, camera2api enabled, but App crashes at start, any idea what i can do? Tried different gcam mods, always the same issue...

You can use HomerSp version made for Razer phone. It works on Xiaomi.eu Oreo.
Its Gcam 6.1 with night night and works on mi5s with Xiaomi.eu, search here on XDA or in celso azevedo site. ( I cant post links).

Thanks for the info. I never tried Gcam beside BSG and Arnova before. But, I've already flashed another ROM, the CAF one, revenge OS, it's come up with gcam installed. So, I'll try the homerSP ver. later

Thanks! Nice and fast gcam version. The only thing that doesn't work for me are pics when HDR is deactivated (both front and back camera). Do you have the same problem? Btw running LOS 16.0

The Google Camera 7.4 (GCAM 7.4) now is compatible with Qualcomm Snapdragon 710.
You could try to test GCAM 7.4 on your device.

Use G cam BSG 8.4.300. It perfectly works for me.

No night mode and the colours seem to be muted on the pictures taken by the Gcam.

Didn't work for me. Only the video worked, but when I tried changing the resolution to 4K,it force stopped me.

Camera and night mode can be used,but camera mode autofocus is somewhat delayed.
HDR+ enhanced will cause the app screen to freeze, but it will be stored after closing.
In the video mode, only the normal mode can be used.
