i would like to ask does the camera 2 api of the galaxy s6 come with manual focus for video? I am running stock rom never rooted and Ive tried pro shot, manual camera and other camera 2 api apps. but my problem is the sound gets recorded while the video frame freezes. sure i can adjust through the view finder and all. but it doesnt take any manual focus videos... any guys got any thought about this?
i need questions answered please. thank you.
hi!i i have ptried several roms (xiaomi.eu stable and weekly; miuipro; mi-globe....) and all of them has a really bad video recording.
When you start cam and switch it to video, it appears zoomed. i mean, it is 1.0x bu the image os zoomed. You can record much with a redmi note 4 , and that doe not speak well about this mi note 3.
so i want to know if there is any rom / app that records video better than this. Gcam is so **** for videos...
any idea? thank you so much!
Try OpenCamera, it have 120fps But I too looking for better rom/app...
The inbuilt screen recorder on my Mi 10 Ultra fails to capture audio when attempting to record WhatsApp video calls.
Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra MIUI 12.0.13 stable, Chinese ROM.
The sound input options for the screen recorder settings allow either mic input or system input- neither of these seems to work for recording the audio during a WhatsApp video call.
Only the video part is recorded without any audio- neither my speech is recorded nor the other person's speech is recorded.
The screen recorder works well otherwise when recording audio- when for example a YouTube video is playing on screen it will record the video along with the system audio.
I have debloated the Mi 10 Ultra and uninstalled several bloatware apps of which I'm including a screenshot herewith. (Note: the screenshot shows the apps that are UNINSTALLED from my phone).
Extensive Google searches have revealed that this issue of screen recorder apps being unable to record the audio during video calls is possibly caused by a conflict for audio input to the recorder app vs the active video calling app (WhatsApp), BUT:
I have another Mi 10 Pro running MIUI 12.0.6 (Chinese ROM) and that phone records WhatsApp video calls with audio.
I bought the Mi 10 Ultra since the Mi 10 Pro record WhatsApp calls without any problem, so it's a bit frustrating to not be able to record WhatsApp video calls now on this phone which is supposed to be better than the Mi10 Pro.
I was trying posting herewith the system logs of the phones but the message goes over the word limit.
I was trying to post the screenshots as well, but the Insert Image button/option above this message window doesn't let me upload images from my computer and instead asks for a http: URL for the image (this is my first post in this forum- please bear with me!)
If there is any other information I should/can provide with this thread/question/post, please let me know.
Any thoughts ideas or solutions are much appreciated.
Many thanks in advance.
Kind regards.
Did anyone fix this?
Hi, I'm a musician and I always record my shows or videos playing at home or with a band that I belong to, I already have several Huawei. At the moment I have a P40 pro and I realized that when shooting with the native camera app the sound comes out compressed. Before I had a P30 Pro that captured very well. I downloaded the Open Camera and Pro Take and the sound was not compressed but the focus and zoom controls are invited ... does anyone have any idea what it is? native camera app that the sound comes out compressed, weightless, bad pickup.
This app is not present on Xperia Mark II smartphones but it's possible to install it via apkmirror. I'm not an expert with photos and videos in general, i really shoot few photos in my life, and even less videos. But it's my curiosity about it: Is this app more user.friendly and easy to use compared to Cinema Pro? I have the 5 II and i admit that i have some difficulty with Cinema Pro. Usually i use Basic Camera for videos.
If i install Video Pro from apkmirror, i can be sure it works perfectly on 5 II without any bugs / lack of functionality and/or errors? Who knows, maybe someone more expert than me already tried this and noticed some problems with the app born for Mark III lines.
EDIT: sorry for posting this in wrong place.
Did you exhaust Cinema Pro capabilities?

uhm i have difficulty to use Cinema Pro. I'm asking if Video Pro is more easy, after all, for a beginner.
I apologize for my misunderstanding. I don't do videos but if I suddenly needed to, I would go to PhotoPro Basic, switch from photo to video, and do a video with very few variables.

i can't do that. Photo Pro version installed in Mark II series doesn't allow to use Basic Camera. I have the Camera separate from Phoro Pro and that's ok, i can do videos with that Camera but it's my curiosity to know more about Video Pro.

Yeah! Video Pro is more advanced than Photo Pro's video mode (or Basic camera) and easier to use than Cinema Pro with more controls but no Presets as that of Cinema Pro. I would say if you don't want something of Cinema quality Video Pro is far better than using Basic Video mode from either Basic camera or Photo Pro.
