Zenfone 7 Pro no DTS audio settings after A11 update - ASUS ZenFone 7 / 7 Pro Questions & Answers

Hello all,
I recently updated to android 11 via OTA update, i have noticed that my sound quality had dropped and when i went to look for the audio settings there were no audio settings anymore for equalizer or DTS audio. Has asus removed DTS support on the android 11 update?

I didn't even have dts support on Android 10 for zenfone 7 pro. Didn't see it available.

The WW version at least was advertised with DTS: Headphones X support and there used to be a setting you could change when headset or bluetooth device was connected, even though it was really simple(literally just "standard, Movie, Game and Custom eq"
This setting does no longer seem to be present.

AptX codecs on Android 10

Hi.
I've seen barely any mention of this issue.
I've tried several ROMs like Bliss, Havoc and Evolution, all of them Q.
I have an EarStudio E100 DAC which supports AptX and AptX HD, which were working perfectly well on Android 9.
I was able to select the right codec from Developer Options and the sound would be much better and SBC or AAC, but now on Android 10, there is no difference whatsoever. I can select AptX HD it does not stick and reverts back to the lowest quality codec.
Any idea on how to solve this?
EDIT:
On Reddit, from user CoolGeek71, I found out that selecting the capabilities FIRST and only after that selecting AptX HD inside Developer Options, Android will use the requested codec. So, instead of selecting AptX HD only as it was on Pie, I have to select before the "Bluetooth Audio Sample Rate" to 44.1kHz or 48kHz and "Bluetooth Audio Bits per Sample" to 24 bits. Only then, stupid Android 10 will use it.
Once again, Google making simple things harder to use.
I noticed that if I change the developer settings for Bluetooth codec it automatically changes it back to defaults after I close out of the settings.

This stupid problem is also present with LDAC quality settings as well. I use the Fiio BTR5.
Interestingly, Beta 8 fixed this issue. However this bug has reared its ugly head on the newest 1.0.3.1 again.

Lagging when connected to bluetooth speaker

MIUI Global 17.0.7 Stable (official)
I'm using JBL Charge 4 speaker (it's not JBL's problem). I don't have this problem when I connect Samsung J7 Pro (which is older, model from 2017) and other Samsung, Huawei, Apple devices... I had this problem on my older Poco F1 too.
When I play music on it, it's lagging. Every 20-30s there are lags, like "cut" for ~1 second and it's so annoying. I watched some videos about it, I saw that a lot people have same problem with different Xiaomi devices. In Developer options -> Bluetooth audio codec...whatever I pick, when I close settings, it's back to "Use system preference (Default)" even if there is a lot of other options, for example: SBC, AAC, Qualcomm® aptX™ audio, Qualcomm® aptX™ audio HD, LDAC...
Only option that I can change about Bluetooth there is Bluetooth AVRCP Version.
If someone has solution, I would be very grateful. If it's not possible to fix this on offical software, is there any Custom ROM with tested options about this problem?
Thanks in advance!

Question Does P11 and P11 PRO support a variety of Bluetooth codecs?

Does P11 and P11 PRO support a variety of Bluetooth codecs?
I tested it. It is only connected to SBC & LDAC. The devices I tested were three Sony XF-1000XM3 & WH-100XM4 & Bose qc Earbuds.
All SBC and LDAC are connected only.(I don't think they support AAC and APT-X)
LDAC is Sony's proprietary codec so if you connect those that's what will get chosen by default. In fact others have tried on a Pixel 4 to get other codecs selected by Sony headphones to no avail.

I use my WH-1000 XM4 and Pixel 3A in dual device mode and it now selects AAC by default with my phone, when I first got the headphones I'm sure I read in documents that dual device mode was limited to SBC (ie disables LDAC) but maybe a FW update improved things.

Android 12, Android Auto, & V4A

Currently on Android 11 with Android Auto v 7.0.614134 and V4A v 2.7.1.6. When connected via bluetooth music is processed via V4A and sounds fantastic. When connected with Android Auto via USB, music does not get processed via V4A even though there is a USB setting in V4A. Music also does not get processed via the Speaker tab, which it defaults to when plugged in with Android Auto. I have researched this extensively and found it's a limitation for whatever reason. Also odd that I can't find any recent topics on it. The newest discussions are from 2019 to mid 2020.
I have tried disabling USB audio routing in Developer Settings to no avail. My solution is to use the EQ settings on Rocket Player to compensate, and it helps...but it's not the same as V4A.
However, I read somewhere that Android 12 "fixed" this issue. Or perhaps I misunderstood what I read. Any any case, can anyone on Android 12 using V4A and Android Auto confirm if audio is processed with V4A while connected to AA? FWIW, I have a PIxel 4a 5G and have been putting off the upgrade to 12 (hate setting up phones) but if A12 will "fix" this issue I will bite the bullet.
Thanks!

aptX Adaptive annoying delay on Android 13+

Have any of you guys using the bluetooth codec aptX Adaptive noticed that videos are no longer in sync with audio after updating to Android 13 or higher?
To be clear, videos were perfectly in sync for me in Android 12. The delay is now something like 350 ms, pretty annoying. I don't think it has much to do with my device or my particular software because I've installed different ROMs and confirmed the same happens.
[EDIT]
I want to clarify this is exclusive to aptX Adaptive, other codecs don't seem to be affected
No one?
Hello, i feel the same in android 13, i'm using mi 11 ultra with flip buds pro, and i realized it recently when i upgraded from android 12 to 13.
Hello, I experienced the same thing, the aptx adaptive codec on tws that I use is having a delay when watching videos and not sync
