Hello, currently I am in China and 3 days back I wanted to root, so I did and install Magisk. everything fine, after installation of apps from f-droid and Play store phone was very hot and all the application were frozen, so I decided to unroot it lock the bootloader.
Again follow the guide and done it everything, however after the locked bootloader I thought to update the latest OTA to the phone, side loaded it with proper instructions and that worked well as well however at the end I need to set a factory reset.
When I do the factory reset this message appeared, then I was locked in Google Wi-Fi screen because in China I can't access the Google servers without VPN Anyway with another YouTube guide I have passed the ftp lock screen and now I am good.
But I want to know what is this message (picture attached) means does anybody knows? Please let me know so far phone is fine working everything.
I wouldn't worry about it if data wipe was successful in the end.
I get the same message wiping data on some custom ROMs recovery/boot.img

WTF DO I DO!?!?!?!
did my device get banned from google or something. i have never done anything illegal with my android devices and all ways pay for my apps. i only root so i can get access to my cpu and with the gtab to get to the market.
this happened to me before with my G1 and fixed itself in a day but htis seems different.
i also edited my google account from my computer to allow multiple sign-ins.
i aslo F reset my phone to see if its just google or my account and it signed in just fine the first time.
has anyone else experienced this? BTW im in rochester ny

thank you the first link worked right away
I can log into my google account, but the only device associated with the account is my droid. How do I add my Gtab to the account as well?
For example if I want to download the Tegra 2 app from the Nvidia website, you log in with google accounts. Then it asks which device I want to download it to. Right now it only shows my droid as an option.
Hello All.
I have OnePlus One with CM12 on it. I use CyanDelta to make fetch the nightlies from the server and install. This is working since the day i bought the phone. However, for some reasons i was unable to update the My phone using CyanDelta from some time.
I downloaded the latest "cm-13.0-20151130-NIGHTLY-bacon.zip" from official download page of cynogemod and imported the same on CyanDelta and installed it.
After the installation as per normal process it ran the updates and rebooted the phone.
after a long process of rebooting it gave an errors "SystemUI Crashed" and it is stuck there only.
i am unable to use my phone now as i can't see excpet this error. I have 2 options, "report" and "ok". whatever i press it is the same.
I have Very Very very important data and apps installed on my phone and i don't want to loose anything from there. As reinstalling app again will cause loss of very important data too. I don't know what to do but need to get my phone started.
Please help. I really really need steps to recover.
what if i go to recovery mode and select that same or another "*.*. NIGHTLY-bacon.zip" of version 12 and install from there.. will that remove all my Apps ?
Please advise.
So I'm definitely not an expert at all, but I am going through a similar situation as you. I believe the problem is from the fact that CyanDelta installed android 6.0 (marshmallow), but it didn't install the gapps 6.0, the gapps compatible for android 6.0. This is what maybe causing the crashes (Conformation of this would be appreciated). As for what to do about restoring your data I'm currently trying to figure out what to do my self. I was able to get in to twrp and I backed up my data then I connected my phone to my computer via usb and transferred the back up to my pc. I'm not sure if I can get back my data specifically my sms through the twrp back up, but I'll update you if I can so you can follow the process if you have twrp.
I am stumped! Long story short i have a customers device( i work as an AUTH DEALER for MetroPCS) that had a nasty popup device. One of those imfamous FBI virus asking for money. Completely locked the device. Anyway the customer didnt know gmail and PW so he couldnt master reset. ( i know now he could). I decided to flash the STOCK ROM obtained through Samsung firmware website. I flashed via ODIN. It was a success, no failing at all. The device booted as new phone, apps got optimized and all. BUT the FBI virus was still on the device popping up locking you out, forcing you to remove battery. THIS IS AFTER flashing stock OS directly from the samsung website. So i then decide to master reset thinking the stock ROM would allow me to setup as normal. NOPE. After reset its still requiring the GMAIL and PW to setup the device. I dont understand because the OEM rom was flashed successfully. Yet the FRP lock is still enabled and the device locked out. How do i flash this rom so that it becomes STOCK with no FRP lock??? ANY tips welcome as ive posted in other forums and got no response....:silly::silly::silly:
You should try master reset (wipe partition and wipe cache), then flash a stock ROM via Odin. (Nevermind, I didn't fully read the part you already did that) But to me, this is just another proof that even flashing full ROM via Odin doesn't delete/replace everything. I couldn't get it solved too.

i actually resolved this issue. and yes flashing via ODIN doesnt reset it to default. I used sidesync, got a settings apk, used sidesync to force the device to open samsung apps(like the play store) i then got a file manager and added the apk to the phone storage via a computer.(this was all done while on the google login screen) i then opened the filemanager , installed the settings apk, it took me to phone settings(without having to get past the initial sign in screen) i then did a master reset via phone menu and BOOM, device is stock. Never will i put this much effort into a 50 dollar device again haha but thanks for the response

Wow! Very nice to hear, well done!
I have rooted my phone many times before, but often times i mess things up so i would have to reset my phone to factory settings and do it all again and hope not to mess up. The rooting process was the easiest of them all. But today, i go a new message i had never seen before. I installed this https://download.chainfire.eu/929/CF-Root/CF-Auto-Root/CF-Auto-Root-herolte-heroltexx-smg930f.zip like i always do. And i have enabled oem unlock, and im ready to go. I might have forgotten something but i dont remember what. I rooted it and odin said "success", but when i looked at my phone i saw it told me my phone had been encrypted or something, i wasn't completely sure. It told me to put in my pin code and i thought "huh, maybe a new feature samsung added to prevent theft" I typed in the correct pin code, but then it failed and the only option was to factory reset it. I looked it up online, didnt find much information, except that if you clean partition cache, the problem is fixed. Well, not for me. I then decided, that i might aswell reset it. But the button didnt even work, i was like "what the **** even is this". I then went to recovery mode and factory reset it from there. And now im here, trying to figure out how to actually root my Samsung galaxy s7 android 7.0 phone without getting that stupid message again. I always rooted from 6.0.1 or 6.0, this is my first time 7.0, so please tell me what i have done wrong.
Try to root with flashing TWRP, and inside TWRP insall SuperSU
You can follow this Guide:

Gday,
Ive been using my xz premium for about a year and recently it started retsrating randomly a couple of times but never caused me any issues, the other night i was on the phone and it was woring fine then 5 minutes later went to make a phonecall but on trying to unlock it, it restarted and now is stuck in a bootloop, it did get to the password screen once but i was unable to enter the correct password as i usually have a pin code and i restarted to see if i could select password reset or similar but of course it just went back to bootloop.
Now i understand that im in a pretty bad poaition to beable to recovwr data as i dont believe i ever rooted the phone. But also the two factor authentication app, without that i dont believe i can get into some websites to add the 2fa to anither device.
So my question is, is there any company that would beable to either fix the bootloop without data removal and i could get access to my 2fa and my data or at the very least someone who can recover the data from it ? Thanks dor any help you guus can offer.

If the phone's bootloader hasn't been unlocked you may be able to do a software repair using Sony Companion, but not sure as you're in a bootloop situation. If you have enabled developer options you can update the firmware using Sony's Emma without erasing user data. As for your 2fa app, install it on the next device and your info should come over when you log in on the new device

Thanks for the help Bob,
I have been able to get the phone to connect to sonys companion software but did not go ahead with the repair as it states that all data will be deleted, and thats what i have been reading online, is this correct ?
I think i may of enabled developer options, and i just downloaded the Emma software but am unable to login without my account been activated and cannot find access to the customization.ini file that looks like people use to use to get in without a login. Is there any way to get into the Emma software ?
appreciate the help.
Ok so i managed to get into the Emma software, however it said my phone has a locked boot loader, so i guess now the only option is if the sony companion tool can do a repair without erasing data ?
If Companion sees your device you can back up data and reinstall it after repair. I've never done this with Companion as my phones are unlocked and rooted. The few times I've tried to back up and restore (not with Companion) it never really restored the the way I thought it would. If your music and pics/vids are on the sd card, that stuff is safe. I usually just resign myself to setting up the phone and reinstall apps. But give back and restore on Companion a try. What kind of data are you worried about losing?
