HI Guys
I have been struggling for the past 5 days to resolve this issue on my O3D.
Im new to flashing Roms and basebands so please bear with me.
I have been using the O3D for the past 8 months with no issues. The phone just stopped reading my sim card and no network. I took it into an LG shop they advised that i upgrade from Froyo 2.2.2 to Gingerbread, so i used the LG support tool to update to 2.3.5
After this it reads my sim card, but no Network, No IMEI.
Tried 3 different sim cards to no avail.
so i researched this forum and eventually managed to downloaded and LG flash tools and tried changing ROMS, i tried 21a and 21 e but still im having the same issue.
I called LG and they said i need to update from the country i received the phone from. I dont know which country the device comes from as i got it as a gift.
What i noticed is that while flashing all these diff roms the baseband stays the same: L6260_MODEM_SIC_01.1042.00
KERNEL: 2.6.35.7 +
I am in South africa and not sure what baseband to use or how to flash just the baseband.
Any help would be highly appreciated please, im getting desperate!LG says i need to get the IMEI showing to fix the issue.

What are all the kdz files you flashed?
I have just checked my folders through root explorer and i am missing my efs folder.
I believe this is where all the info like IMEI IS KEPT
I have no backup of this folder.
IS there a way to restore this folder or the IMEI?

I'm pretty sure the visible efs folder is only on Samsung devices.
This is baseband issue. This is isue coused with old froyo firmwares. I had the same problem. I sent you PM.

problem no simcard
Hi, my LG P920 does not read sim card of another operator. SIM card from whom I bought the phone reads, but another is not just a message: no sim card. phone does not have any unlock because when you enter the unlock menu does not have a place to enter code. whether it is a problem LG comunication partition described in this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1734330 if it helps? Well... I have a little issue here... Flashed the baseband for v21e, installed v21e_00.kdz rom... And i dont have network registration cant even find sim card... Already tried 3 sims... Im from Portugal...
Can someone help please? =(

i rooted my phone and installed cm 7 but @last all went in vain no network and IMEI number shown plz help me thanks in advance

Hi guys,sorry i knew that thread about this issue exist but i worry if i will screw up my efs further by following other guide which not exactly like my i9003 issue.
I got this i9003 from a friend.The phne work perfect wifi bluetooth etc but the Baseband and imes "Unknown".
I just backed up the EFS folder which is 5.2MB.I noticed there's no NV bin,only Bak.Below is the files and terminal.Pls help.
I have d same problem on my sgsl. The imei and baseband show UNKNOWN. Is there any way i can restore the baseband and atleast a GENERIC IMEI?

Tampering with imei numbers is illegal in most areas and not to be discussed on xda.
Writing a custom imei isn't a topic for xda.
