Is it safe to flash Indonesian recovery (V12.0.6.0.QJGIDXM) over my Turkish phone? I had V12.0.5.0.QJGTRXM installed when I got the phone and then flashed a custom ROM.

Hello hoglak
I have a 920I and was also having the same problem.
I solved the problem flashing the latest version of the rom from SamMobile site.
After flashing the rom your TWRP should work.

I had the same problem. The latest firmware for unbranded (XSA) Australia on sammobile is AOC4. I had success with using the Singapore unbranded (XSP) firmware AOD1.
Flash AOD1 with Odin then you have stock everything. You should be able to flash TWRP 2.8.6.2 with Odin and boot successfully into Custom recovery.
You can either take two options from here.
Flash CF-Root and "just root" the stock ROM - Boot into Download (again) and then flash the CF Root.
Flash a ROM or a Mod which has Root included. - My first success was Wiping with stock recovery, flashing AOD1 clean with Odin, then flashing WanamMod on top of it as it included root.
Aussie G920i.
Hope this helps.

my current rom is custom stock debloated and deodexed from from Pavan. i don't know what is the CSC code of the rom but its based on J700MUBU2APF1
Try this
Download the ZTO MM rom.
Do a full wipe in TWRP.
Reboot into download mode.
Flash the MM rom via Odin.
You'll have to reinstall TWRP (Odin) and reroot (TWRP).
Sent from my SM-J700F using XDA-Developers mobile app
will try and will report as soon as i got free time to install.
I'm planning to flash a Germany CRC7 ROM but my CSC is not german. Will there be any errors in stock recovery or will it just change my CSC?
I remember flashing CRB7 from a thread here using stock recovery and I don't know how that didn't change my CSC. Any help is appreciated.
My phone is unlocked by the way.
I don't have unlocked bootloader.
I want to change my EU version device (RMX1971EEA) to the India, Indonesia, Malaysia, or any other ROM.
The reason I want to do this is that, EU version doesn't have call recorder, theme store, etc.
Installing an official ROM downloaded from an official region soecific site doen't change the device edition the ROM OZIP files are common.
How can I convert my EU RMX1971 device into other region without unlocking bootloader?
You need to unlock bootloader, flash recovery Q (this recovery can flash new rom .OZIP). Afrer flash rom, you need to flash vbmeta.img and make factory reset!

What is the purpose of the vbmeta? Where can I get it? Is it from stock ROM?
I don't know! But your device can't boot if you didn't flash vbmeta.img

I already flashed the ROM OZIP through the stock bootloader, which I downloaded from realme India site. It flashed successfully, but ROM version didn't change. Then I realized, there is no difference between the different OZIP files from different region, there all the same. There is something in other partitions which determine the region of the phone. I may be wrong though.
Maybe you are wrong something. You need to flash this rom over custom recovery!
I doubt you can "convert" your "EU" ROM to other. If you check the Indonesian site: https://www.realme.com/id/support/software-update
And then the Indian site: https://www.realme.com/in/support/software-update
You'll notice that the ROM has the same md5. Meaning it's the exact same file. Same goes for eu version. Only China version has different firmware. You can flash all you want other region's ROM but that won't change much.
If you want to convert from one rom to other, you need to unlock bootloader and flash rom over custom recovery. I advice you to have sdcard for flashing new rom.
Flash qua stock recovery luôn bạn ơi. P/s : việt thì nói tiếng việt đi ba. Đọc thấy tiếng anh mệt luôn á
