[Q] Missing Play Store !

Hello Everyone ~
I have been using mi4 for 1 month with the play store installed . Suddenly , the play store icon is missing . So i checked the app list in the setting , the play store is not there as well. Then , i open up the google installer app (the red logo) and it stated at the google play there "installed" . This is very weird . So , i did a factory reset . And install the play store again through the google installer app. Ok , the play store successfully installed. But, after i reboot the phone , the same thing happen , the play store suddenly disappear again. I dont know whats wrong .
Anyone have the same problem ?

Hmmm, thought the Mi 4, like mine, comes basically pre rooted. Have you tried installing the official package/.apk from XDA?

Try Xiaomi.eu's multilang rom, it has Google Play preinstalled and should be good for daily use.

mine doesn't have google playstore preinstalled too, but after doing some research i think these steps might help you.
P.S i've tried installing google playstore and google installer manually from apk and had no success in a stable working app.
1. open the xiaomi market
2. find the apps called google installer
3. install it, and then choose google playstore
4. when you clicked it there will be a notice saying "google framework/google services need to be installed first to make google playstore works" just clicked ok, and follow the apps package bundle provided to be installed (framework, services, and playstore).
5. finish and enjoyed your playstore now.
6. the playstore will work 100% and stable too, unless well, you're in china......:laugh::laugh::laugh:

It will be there just search for "google installer". It will be in Chinese and its the red icon with android.
Edit: funny it isn't in the Mi app store now.

i managed to trak down the origonal .apk to install all of google to your Mi4 or and of

Install Play Store in Xiaomi
Open MI Market and select the app option
Now search “Google play” and locate “Google installer”. Since language will be Chinese so it will look like the image given below

Now once the Google installer is downloaded and it is installed, open the Google Installer and search Google Play store in the search bar.
Now click on the install button and you’ll notice a pop up window which will ask the permission to install the app. Just click Ok.
After which a new screen will open in front of you which will contain four apps.
Click on the Download button given at the bottom of your Screen.
You are done ...

Try to restore from back up files..tick only playstore application.. For this..go to settings...additional settings....backup and reset....local backup....app..google playstore.this will help only u have local backup already taken.

Try flashing Slim GAAPS.

How to install Google Play Store at Huawei Enjoy 7plus (TRT-ALOOA)

I bought Huawei Enjoy 7 plus （华为畅享7plus) in Beijing and brought it to my country. When I reached my country, I installed Google Play Store, the system informed that Play Store could not run without Core GMS Package. I installed Core GMS but it was not successful.
Current Android version is 7.0; EMUI version 5.1
Please advise how to install Google Play Store.

You must root the phone then install opengapps appliction then proceed with the installation proccess

There's also an option to change from chinese to english after installing the recovery.

Hi, I have the same problem. Spent days but could not install google play store. need gms package. still.not working.

There's a GMS Core installer available on One Drive. It does work for some Huawei devices without rooting. I hope it would also support your Enjoy 7.

I got up to the TWRP but then problems began to arise. I tried to install Gapps stock but the file was too large and so I used mini but ended up in a bootloop. That's just me though, some may have better luck

Hi, has anyone successfully logged in to their YouTube account on vanced using micro g within the last few weeks of September?
I have been attempting to log in for over a week now and still does not work.
I have trawled every forum, FB groups, youtube etc etc and have tried every method possible and it still won't log in.
Just wondering if something has changed to stop it from working?

Hello... The last version of micro G vanced ... Connect without problems. Not the normal micro G version.

It's working without any issues for me. Using MicroG Vanced.

I have tried the latest and oldest versions of micro g and vanced, both with and without vanced manager and still no good. Really don't understand why!?

Latest Vanced MicroG 0.2.12.203315 solve the login issue on Huawei, based on its changelog.

Yes many times, it fails on the Just a sec message then goes to the No communication message.

Hmmmm I'm struggling a bit with understanding how to get the most out of Discord.
I have noticed that when I click back when it hangs it goes to to log in again and not the error message that everyone mentions.

Tried this sign-in with P40 Pro with previously (july) installed gms, and it does not work: account sign-in and sign-in verification works, but right after that comes the connection error message.
Also tried this sign-in with Galaxy A40 and it works.
This seems to be the same google sign-in issue as with all new Huawei/Honor devices since this mid-september.

I've had enough of trying now.!

A new hotfix version will be released soon for those Huawei devices born without play services (like P40 series), but which were manually installed by the users.
Current version successfully log in only if don't detect installed play services.

I have never attempted to install GMS, still cannot connect to MicroG for vanced.

[GUIDE] Install Samsung Notes app on any rooted device

Hello guys,
I've always wanted to install Samsung notes app on my non-samsung device (tested this on device with RROS with android 7.1.2).
So if anyone wants to do the same, here's the process.
TBH, this thread is pointless as syncing to samsung account doesn't work after installing. So this is only for people who want the other writing or drawing features.
1. Download zip file from link (found it on A thread on xda, thanks to @TECK )
I'm also attaching the file in case the link's broken
2. Place the contents in respective folders (com.samsung.device.jar in "/system/framework/" and com.samsung.device.xml in "/system/etc/permissions/". Leave the rest) in root folder using a root browser(like ES) manually (I did not try flashing it).
Step 2 is a must as the apk checks if your device is a Samsung one before getting installed. The file (com.samsung.device) does this trick.
3. Restart your device.
4. Install Samsung Notes apk.
5. Enjoy.
Note : just that this process worked on my device, it doesn't mean it will work on all device (but mostly, it will work). Try it at your own risk.

Hi there, this method does not work on my rooted Xiaomi device.
Imma quite sure that both 2 files are correctly placed with ur instructions
but Google Play store still warns me that the app is not available for my device
and I have tried to use ADB on my PC to force install the apk file, that works but
when I tap the icon on my phone to start the app, it crashs immediately
can u help me with that? thanks very much, I do appreciate

Did you try the latest version? I've faced this issue with older ones.
It still works on mine.
If using the same version as mine doesn't help, try getting the logcat using some logcat reader from play store.

Try enabling all permissions for the app from the settings. I never got such logcat... What's your android version?

All permissions are enabled for the app
And its android 10 sir
I think the issue is mainly about these lines.
It seems to request packages called com.samsung.android.samsungaccount and others.
Do u have apk or jar files to install samsung (account) service framework sir?

Alright first check if the files are correctly placed. Rename the apk file to its package name and place it in /system/app/ reboot, enable permissions reboot and check.
I think this problem is because AOSP package installer and xiaomi's are different.

but... Imma using adb on pc as installation method, neither AOSP nor xiaomi installer

Maybe no, I didn't find any... But squid is a good alternative.

does this allow the samsung notes app to sync with a samsung account ? if it can't sync with a samsung account it s useless .. cause i have a tab s7 and it would be awesome if i can read my notes from my oneplus device .. thank you

thank you for your help sir .. btw i could run the samsung notes app on my oneplus device without any modification to my system files .. just downloaded the app from apkmirror and it installed and worked correctly .. of course no syncing option though .. which makes it pointless ..

It works on some devices.. I think it depends on the oem too because when I install it on stock android I get this error.
And if someone has the same error, this works as we place the required libraries in required places. I read somewhere even before starting this thread that it works by direct installation on some Huawei Devices too.
So from what you've said, I can conclude that it doesn't work on stock ones and some oems. Don't you think so?

[APP] Vanced (all in one) apk

(english is not my language so i hope u will understand)
after vanced got discontinued a lot of people have asked how to migrate the app onto their new phones.
A lot of them are downloading malware searching for it on the web. So here the fix, i hope.
Since vanced used the splitted apks, you need to use vanced manager to install or sai installer.
The manager is nowadays useless since it will not get any updates anymore and i don't trust the "mirrors" that appears on the web...
So I've made three (all in one) apks of the non-root version using the verified by shasum apks of the last vanced release.
So you can install it using the android package installer directly.

If you change the phone language also the app will change !

Hello, I just discovered that my Galaxy S9 had downloaded the latest vanced version (and I had not updated, lol).
So I just copied the com.vanced.manager folder from my S9 to my new S10 and everything works!
First I went via the phone filemanager to com.vanced.manager and installed manager.apk.
Then I opened the manager app, and installed the migroG and YouTube Vanced app from there.
NOTE:
- BLACK
- NON-ROOT
- DUTCH VERSION!
If anyone wants to also have that folder, here it is.
I was really happy when i discovered this folder on my phone, so maybe someone else will be too.

Yeah, the manager still work, but I've made those apks to avoid using it.
The manager use mirrors, for example now it's using the codebucket one (for now legit and clean) but in the future? The mirror will still be up? Someone will bring up some mirrors manipulated to deliver some malware?
Split apks need sai to be installed, instead those apks can be directly installed by the android package manager.

Hello everyone, i'm using the latest version of vanced (17.33.42) and i noticed that shorts are not in full screen (bottom bar is still visible while watching), is it supposed to be like that? Thanks.

The lastest vanced is 17.03.38.

You seem to have an older version of vanced. I checked how shorts look like on the official YT app, and the bottom bar is visible, so everything's fine.

Maybe you are using revanced? Or another mod?

Yeah, I think that's the case. I'm using vanced manager.

No longer works, every video shows upgrade to YouTube and doesn't play
