The Auto-Brightness is a great feature but in the dark or with low light, it just seems to be a little too bright. Its not too bright for my eyes, its more in regards to saving power.
Is there anyway to modify the settings for Auto-Brightness to help save more battery?
I also was wondering if it would be just better to manually change the brightness, since the Auto sensor is using power to operate?
Sent from my DROIDX using XDA App
I don't think you can modify the Auto Brightness settings. You'll have to adjust the value manually.
I've realized that Auto Brightness doesn't work on my Desire Z so I've installed Brightness Profiles as a shortcut that lets me modify easily the brightness without having to go through Settings/Display etc.
seems i dont know if it a rom bug, btw i used stock GB ROM on my SL i adjust the brightness to the max but the phone don't corresponds on the right brightness emits when i adjust the brightness settings. Help !
Hello, I'm looking for a mod that adds the option of setting brightness by sliding across the status bar. To clarify, this is not the same as a brightness slider in the notification panel. You literally slide on the status bar with out having to pull anything down first. It's a crucial feature for me since I go in and out of the Sun a lot during the day. Thanks!
Viper ROM has it as an option so I know it is compatible with Sense roms. I'm running CleanRom now.
Tried GravityBox xposed module and it has the option but when I enable it, it doesn't actually go into effect...
Are you running the Kitkat version of it? Also you shouldn't even need to do this, the auto screen brightness adjustment on this phone is quite good and should adjust it properly for you even quicker than the status bar slider mod you're looking for can.

Yes, I was using KitKat version. The JB version won't even install on a KK phone...
I'd use Auto Brightness if I could set the lower limit to go all the way down to 0% but I can't find settings to customize that. Do you know an Xposed module that can?
In case you were wondering how to set the maximum automatic brightness level
A Google Search:
From the Home screen, tap > Settings > Display & gestures or Display, gestures & buttons. With the Automatic brightness option selected, drag the slider to set the maximum brightness level. This sets a limit on how bright the screen will be when Automatic brightness is selected.
Great answers.
How can one add this feature?
I changed my dpi from developers settings and changed to 480
I like it that way but it kinda trashed quick settings for me can I change how quick settings look without reverting back to default dpi?
I don't think you can change dpi for that panel only if that's what you meant. Standard quick settings panel should look better than control center, but you've probably already try that. To me it's BUGgie night enough even without messing with the dpi (blurry background disappears sometimes) so I just keep control center off as it really is the same thing just with a few icons stretched out.

Did you try changing the Display Color Mode on settings? If not, you can try this out.
From Settings, tap Display, and then tap Screen mode. Tap Vivid or Natural.
You also get a preview image for these different display modes so you can choose them according to your liking.

A22 5G has a built-in color adjustment tool that you can use to adjust the brightness, contrast, and saturation of the display. Go to Settings > Display > Advanced > Color adjustment. You can try this out if it works.
If it doesnt, there are various 3rd party apps you could use like Color Calibration and OLED Saver which could help solve your issue but I suggest trying the Color Adjustment first before getting into these 3rd Party Apps.
