Repair your ASUS ROG Phone 5 with EDL mode
If your phone can only enter EDL mode (9008 mode) this firmware is glad to help you. It can be flashed in through the miflash tool. The firmware is made through the official package...

and he did not disappoint us, he did come with some cheeky statement too.
Sad how everything has become a paid service nowadays.

Don't respond to anyone advertising services on XDA; just report the post and let us respond instead. Thank you, amazing people, for your cooperation and have a superb day!
Kind regards and stay safe
Timmy
PS. Don't forget, you can report private messages as well!
Do you know how/why it ended in EDL? Unless the device is really defect, try getting out by holding power + vol up for a real long time (like 40'ish secs+) unplugged, then plug it back into the USB port while still holding down the buttons. I've been "stuck" in EDl a couple of times and the above snapped the device back to normal.
Sometimes using a deep flash cable can help too in a reverse way. If you want to try, no need to buy one, you can easily make one yourself from a cheap spare USB data cable.

Are these codes still available? I already have one but I am getting one for my company where we develop a native mobile app development platform.
I'm curious if any sort of codes are still available to use, as well. My HTC U11 is starting to take a big dump on me with hardware issues and I'd rather not wait 2-5 months for them to repair it.
I was an original PH-1 user, who pre-ordered it from the beginning. Long story short, I had to return it for a refund due to quite a few issues. But I'm well aware that they've made large strides since its initial launch late last summer.
I know the PH-1 is down to $500 and includes their earbuds for free, but I'm still a bit wary due to where the company may be in the (near) future. Also that it's on last year's specs, but that isn't a huge deal to me.
I loved the size and design of it, especially as flagships from this year are typically 6" or larger in screen size. An S8 or S9 is definitely out of the question, as I enjoy working on custom development (primarily from a personal standpoint) and Samsung locks down their devices completely in the US.
I'd greatly appreciate any help, but I understand if codes are nonexistent at this point.

Moderator Announcement: All links to 4pda have been removed from this thread!
4pda is not only another phone related website - and not affiliated with XDA at all - but is also well known as a source for warez and malware. Links to 4pda are not accepted on XDA and considered a violation of the XDA Forum Rules:

I'm planning on releasing a game for iOS and Android. I've got 2 options - either annoy users with ads every 2 minutes and losing profit when they turn off wifi/use adblock OR giving them option to "pay" me using their phone as cryptomining device. The plan was to mine mainly when device is charging and not overheated, so user won't notice any battery drain or speed issues.
It was shame to find out that any form of cryptomining on users devices is forbidden by both main stores. Does anybody know of a way to not being found out by any of these stores?
Will Play Protect (and whatever Apple uses) detect it or does detection depend on users reports only?
Thanks
PS: Only due to existence of other controversial topics as "password bypassing" or sharing cracked code I am daring to post such a topic here.

Are you kidding?! You cannot inject malware to jack someone's smartphone and use it to mine. Not to mention the shear stupidity which you will not even get pennies. You understand that it's called theft correct? It's a clear violation of the electronics communication privacy act, the computer fraud and abuse act, and the children's online privacy protection act. Then there are numerous state laws it violates. Anyone seen supporting this, will also be liable to be held responsible. This is disgusting.
