Realme 8 has been launched in India with a Mediatek Helio G95 chipset and super AMOLED display. Prices start at 15k (about $206) in India.
I like the realme 8 with its huge battery and helio G95 gaming chipset.
Realme 8 is one of the best Android phone till now but still it is heating.

And they have brought another device named Narzo 30 5G with the same Dimensity 700 chipset.

Realme X7 Pro with MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset is about to go on a sale. Do you think it can do well with Oppo reno 5 Pro as its competitor?
I don't think there wont be noticeable difference between these two models as x7pro and reno5pro specifications are quite identical, except curved display and dual speakers. That rolls the ball down to Operating System.
I'm an iPhone user and kinda got bored with iOS, so decided to use an android phone for next couple of years.
Though I like reno5pro design over x7pro, I ordered x7pro today to save some bucks (8k).
I have the yellowness issue after 7pm. Even when eye comfort is off on Realme X7 Pro. Kindly help
You might have bought it recently. So its better to reach out realme support and get your device replaced.
Both the smartphones have Mediatek Dimensity 1000+ chipset but the ones with less budget will go for Realme X7 Pro.
It really depends on your budget. If you have low budget, Realme X7 Pro with Mediatek Dimensity 1000+ chipset is also quite good an option.

If a person has the budget for both, I think Realme X7 pro with Mediatek Dimensity 1000+ chipset is still better at the low cost.
can its rom be flashed onto the chinese x7 pro?

Actually, they both are good at their cost for the Mediatek 5G chipset they contain. The Oppo smartphone has good camera and Realme is more affordable.
While both Realme 7 and Realme 8 occur with Mediatek Helio G95 chipset, which one do you think is a better option at its cost?
Of course you should go for the newer smartphone, even if it has a similar Mediatek Helio G95 chipset. Realme 8 has much better display.
Realme launched the new Realme 8 5G smartphone in India with MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. Do you think this is a good option in the budget mid-range segment?
This realme 8 5G looks very slim and trim even though it has a massive battery and a powerful mediatek dimensity chipset.

Yeah, looks good enough at the cost and it is the most affordable 5G smartphone in India with its Mediatek Dimensity 700 chipset.
Realme 8 5G is a confusing device. Though the Mediatek Dimensity chipset is really good, other features could have been a lot better like Realme 8 4G.
Love the glossy colour of this phone tbh. Internally as well the realme 8 5G shines because of the huge battery and the dimensity 700 chipset.
Realme has launched the Realme X7 Max in India with a Dimensity 1200 chipset. It looks like an exact copy of Realme GT Neo launched previously. What's your view on this?
The Realme X7 Max 5G is more of a renamed Realme GT Neo which first launched in China with the Dimensity 1200 SoC. Currently, it seems like Realme has the most diverse lineup of smartphones with support for 5G. The Dimensity 1200 chip which the Realme X7 Max uses is comparable to the SD 870 chip. Looks like Realme has decided to go with MediaTek instead of Qualcomm as it has generally has, with most of its 5G smartphones using a Dimensity chipset.

I think the Indian version with Dimensity 1200 chipset is much better than the global GT Neo. This seems to have more and better features.
Rebranding hardly matters because it is just a harmless strategy. And I think Realme X7 max with its powerful features and Dimensity 1200 chipset is an excellent device.
Well, there is a seller on aliexpress offering the GT Neo but saying they will take the GT Neo Flash Edition and install a 'global rom'. The seller points out the device name will be changed to Max 7 5G, and has a screenshot of the 'about phone' confirming that. (Both the GT Neo and Max 7 5G are id'd by RMX 3031.)
Any thoughts on that?
Realme has expanded the array of its devices with new devices in Narzo 30 series and here is the Narzo 30 5G with Dimensity 700 chipset. What's your view?
I think this is a good option at a low cost. DImensity 700 is a good chipset and this smartphone also has a really good battery power.
