Ofc you need an unlocked bootloader and twrp 3.4 by Neb pre-installed (Note: don't use any other recovery, twrp 3.4 by Neb is the most stable and recommend)
• Wipe>Advanced wipe>select dalvik, system, vendor, cache, data>swipe to wipe (Note: incase you don't know this process will wipe your data so make sure to take a backup)
• Change slot and repeat previous step (optional)
• Flash your desired rom [and twrp if it's not included], reboot recovery
• Flash gapps and magisk(optional)
• Reboot system

Hi i have, big problem, theres no OEM UNLOCK in developers options, i enabled usb debbuging only. Couldnt find OEM unlock....
I installed rom but didnt chose right slots or installed gapps :/.. what re slots a and b?

Ota is broken on all ppui devices moreover u can install it via recovery ( dirty build)

Apologies but are there any other sources for downloading this ROM? It keeps dropping out saying connection lost, yet my connection is fine and stable. It's also really slow...More than an hour and less than halfway done is the best so far.

i would recommend you try differents gapps... i had the same issue back in february 2021 with any custom rom android 11 and offical builds from opengapps... until i flash opengapps build from december 2020 and it worked. just my guess

I don't see any floating dashboard and DND for game doesn't work too

1 more thing, the thermal profile keep going back to default Everytime I reboot

It only works for some games , for me the only one was Minecraft.

I just tried Arrow OS on my whyred device, and destroyed the system by trying to enable encryption. Is it a general thing with android 12 on whyred that encryption is not possible (yet)?

Yes, As of now.. With every A12 rom encryption is broken for whyred

Both ArrowOs and Derpfest are good rom though but You can try my latest build Project-Elixir v1.4.. I improved alot.
Encryption is good thing if we stayed with one rom only.. If we trying to switch to another rom we need to format internal storage to remove encryption.. which become headache for normal user.. But as of now no custom recovery supports encryption with Android 12 on whyred

I couldn't find 1.4 version of Project Elixir. Only I found is v1.3 here.

Why did u use gocam instead of the "standard" ones? (aka miui)
Used OTA to update, worked great and is running smoothly atm.

Btw there is no way to hide google search bar from home screen as it is because of pixel launcher..
You can try some other launchers like nova launcher.. which have option to hide google search bar..
I tried with miui camera but its not working great as some bugs are there with video recording.. animations etc..
Its because miui camera not supports a12 aosp rom and its not getting further updates to support aosp so better to provide updates with gcamgo which works perfect.. and for better photography use Gcam which you can find on telegram channel: https://t.me/Gcamdownloadswhyred

I configured the phone but my wife needed one (my kid put hers in the toilet, lol) so i gave whyred to her and bought a Poco X3 Pro for me.
Ok, now i understood why most of the recent roms are comming with GoCam... And yeah, i'll try Gcam later.
About the google search bar, that's a bummer, i was even thinking on trying PixysOS but i saw that they also are using pixel launcher so i recon no search bar removal...
BTW, i keep trying to enter the support telegram but can't, was it deleted? When u released the first version of the rom i got in support telegram but now i can't, last thing i can remember saying to someone on it was to not ask for OTAs... Was i banned for that or wht??

That is amazing. Literally the closest to a perfect rom for me. i have questions about some stuff if its available. and if it isnt, its ok but it will be great if you took them as suggestions.
What kind of camera app in the ROM? ANX camera is good as a start.
is there call recording feature included? I know i can get it with root and other apps but getting such feature is better when being part of the system.
Can you add the "clear speakers" feature from MIUI? I live in a dusty country so this feature is a life saver.
The ROM is still great and thank you for your work on our beloved x3 pro!
Edit: forgot to ask. What is the required firmware? MIUI 12.5.7 doesn't have ghost touch so i suppose 12.5.7 should work great with it.

One last question. Why cant i use MIUI 12.5.7? All the previous firmwares might bring back the ghost touch issue i had before.

For now tree is based on previous MIUI and not 12.5.7
