I'm going to trade in my oneplus Tmobile for Galaxy S21. Currently I have bootloader unlocked and Twrp installed. Should I lock the bootloader first or after restore to stock? Thanks.
Can anyone help with my question? Thanks

I just bought my white I535 from ebay and i rooted it and im trying to unlock the bootloader so I can install custom recovery and install custom rom.
I tried the unlock app and it wont work, used flashify to install twrp and got a brick then used odin to bring back. Is there a way to unlock bootloader and do all that to mine? If my version is to blame is there a way to downgrade?

You cannot unlock the bootloader on any system version greater than 4.1.2 as of now. Unless you use this fifty dollar bootloader downgrade service

Poppers hit the nail on the head there. It's a JTAG service which does indeed cost money and you'd have to send your phone in which takes a few weeks or more

Is there any way to downgrade or just install custom OS with unlocking bootloader?

Nope. The only way is to unlock the bootloader and root it. Otherwise your out of luck
Selling the phone to hopefully upgrade to the Pro but I'm rooted with the bootloader unlocked and TWRP installed.
Can I just download and install the latest OOS update to unroot then just relock the bootloader or are there more steps to it?
No one? Guess it's time to risk a bootloop. Cheers for all the help.
You didn't give people time to reply. Most people in the US are asleep at 5:30 in the morning. But good luck.

Hey there,
download the msm tool. it will completely wipe, reset and return everything back to stock. Root will also be gone.

Hi guys, I rooted my op8t but I haven't installed custom recovery yet. I wanted to use cyberpunk modules(my phone version is KB2001 INDIA 12GB 256GB). After installing it I felt some flaws and I was thinking of flashing it over my secondary phone(Le max2) and keeping op8T as stock as possible. When I asked about this issue to my friends, they suggested not to relock the bootloader as it will corrupt the persist.img and I will loose the fingerprint unlock. Is there any way I can revert to full stock with bootloader locked without any problems?
Use the MSM tool. It'll convert it to stick and relock the bootloader. I have the US TMobile version and I have unlocked and relocked (when reverting to stock using MSM tool) ans I did not have any issues with fingerprint or any other issues.

I heard it will give problem to persist file resulting in fp scanner failure. I can understand what you are saying. I am bit worried as I installed some modules on magisk. Will it be ok?.
Also, I'm believing in you. Can u please tell me the procedure on how to do so
I've been thinking of unlocking the bootloader and changing the rom to Pixel experience. If I eventually decide to revert back to OOS would it be possible to also re-lock the bootloader?
Yes. You can do that via cmd or use the restore tool here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...l-to-restore-your-device-to-oxygenos.4148415/
Be warned, do not try to relock bootloader untill you are full stock because you might brick the phone and be forced to use the tool i linked above ( i did it once )

I re locked the bootloader when I was on Pixel Experience Rom A11 using avb_custom key .img file. It was optional but I still did it successfully. However, I have not tried to lock bootloader on custom ROM since the 12 ROMs came as it is not mentioned anywhere so it might brick the device. If you want to re lock the BL then you'll have to go back to stock OOS. Try using the unbrick or MSM tool for OP Nord (Specific model/region).
Hi,
I am currently on A11 with Oneplus 8T and unlocked bootloader + rooted stock rom.
What is the proper process to lock the bootloader and to get back the stock rom? What are the options?
Can I just factory reset the device?
Thanks,

You're confusing us
You're already unlock+root
Then again ask for unlock BL!
If you want just stock then flash boot from stock that's it nothing else to do
@Mr Hassan sorry, I have just edited the first post. I want to LOCK the bootloader and get fully back to an unrooted stock rom.

That's simple just flash stock rom or boot and relock it

Install the latest rom for your phone from the OnePlus support site using local install. That will overwrite the Magisk patched boot you currently have installed.
After the phone reboots (you'll see that Magisk shows it's not installed) then boot into bootloader and use fastboot oem lock
Then select NO (yes, this is a bug in the OOS bootloader) and that should wipe your phone and bring it up with the bootloader locked.
if you want the easiest fastest way, just use the msm tool for the correct model.
ps. if you dont care about losing your data
