miui_SURYAEEAGlobal_V12.0.6.0.RJGEUXM_246b1aa34f_11.0.zip - Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC Questions & Answers

Hi everyone,
I read in the latest XDA-newsletter that finally Poco had released the MIUI 12 update. This firmware update was considered to be more important than an Android version 11 upgrade.
Can anyone tell me if the .zip file: miui_SURYAEEAGlobal_V12.0.6.0.RJGEUXM_246b1aa34f_11.0.zip (found on XDA) can be used to install, but without having to lose all the personal data and apps?
Thanks for your help.
Greetings,
Lepapron

Hi. I don't quite understand what you are trying to say but V12.0.6.0.RJGEUXM is Android 11 based rom. It also is the Europe version not Global. Theoretically if currently you're on, lets say 12.0.7 or 12.0.8 Global or Europe you'll not lose any personal data and apps if you flash this. It should be treated by your device as an update. If you decide to go back to your OG firmware though you'll have to do FORMAT DATA or you'll end up in a boot loop.
To be clear. I am not advising you to do this and do not guarantee it'll succeed.

Thank you.
Although you did not quite understand what I meant, you answered my question perfectly well. Don't do it..! I won´t, because I downloaded the file as a zip file here on XDA, so when I unzip it, I assume my POCO X3 NFC will not see it as a regular update. And the foresight of a boot loop is not a very prosperous sight, so I'll just wait until it arrives as OTA.
Well done, that was very helpful.

new to op7 pro and need a slight push

Hello from Miami
I just brought this monster of a phone, and I've been browsing the different threads; I'm a bit lost.
I own a g1917 version that is on 9.5.13 gm21aa, and naturally I'd like to upgrade to Oxygen. Since ota finds nothing, I'll have to force it. But I see oos roms and dp roms, but I don't know what the difference is.
Can someone kindly point me in a direction? Naturally, I want to root it and load TWRP amd experiment with roms. I previously owned a Huawei mate 10 pro, which was quite restricted.
Thank you
If you want to stay on OxygenOS then download Oxygen updater from playstore and that will let you download the latest update and flash via local storage.
You have the Global version not EU
There are many posts on how to root, twrp and update. Dig a little and u will find some useful information.

Sprint\Tmo A11 update

So now that I am rooted a can no longer receive OTA updates. Also, being a Sprint\Tmo device, I don't have "Local Upgrade" option.
Can someone tell me how I would now go about updating my device?
Do I simply wait for A11-based rom?
Do I need to remove magisk\modules in order to re-enable OTA?
Any help is appreciated.
I was actually about to ask this very question myself, the local update is missing on mine too, so that didn't change when you rooted? Maybe you can flash one of the stable releases they came out with recently? My question was would the global version work for our tmobile branded devices.
Also wondering wtf is up with tmobile cutting features out of the updates like shelf that dropped in July.
There is a guide to switch to global firmware.
It seems straight forward.
I would rather not.
If there was a stock rom image that we could simply flash via magisk or twrp, the process would be far simpler.
My guess is that for the method above to work, we will need to wait for A11 source code to drop.
Afterwards, we will likely see full A11 roms that we can use.
Ideally we would wipe system, data, cache. Flash rom. Wipe data again. Reboot.

POCO X3 NFC stuck on MIUI 12.0.8.0 Android 10, can't seem to update

Hi, wondered if someone could help. I have just got my phone back from the repair shop and it has been factory reset, which is fine, but it has now got an out of date OS etc on.
I've tried downloading all sorts of ROMS from the xiaomifirmwareupdate page, and it just keeps failing whichever I choose. Wondered if one of you clever souls can help?
Many thanks!

Hi thanks I run the tool yesterday but it told me I have to wait 128 hours
Hello,
Same problem here.
I updated my X3 NFC EEA as soon as updates went out, so I'm on latest (12.5.4 R).
My wife didn't update and now she's stuck on 12.0.8.0Q.
I understand I could update with Mi Flash Tool, but doesn't it require to unlock device for fastboot (and then need to wipe) ?
tbh, you're all not stuck with 12.0.8.0. eventually you'll get the update. because not all phone/device got the update at the same time. some device got the update and some others not yet, i think you just need to wait

I hope you're right, as Xiaomi doesn't roll out updates for everyone at same time, but 12.0.8.0Q is pretty old (february).

I did. I tried it again just now, it says wait 96 hours grrrr
best bet is to keep trying the updater every few hours . im on the latest version now and not once was i notified of an update , just kept checking . also try clearing the updaters cache / data , i remember that tip from my note 5 days lol
I confirm. My device is Poco X3 Indian (Non-NFC. Karna codename). Software stuck v12.0.10.0 and last update time is April. I cant flash any roms. I must wait unlock the bootloader.

Need help updating metro version moto one 5g ace from 10 to 11. Rooted

Title says is all, well not all. This would literally be the first update the phone got, I rooted day one out the box and keep the same firmware for flashing when switching roms, now that root is detected with a game, yes my root is depended on access to certain things, so I'm constantly rooting doing what is needed then uninstalling magisk. Very tiring. I wanted to get to Android 11, hoping no data loss, rooted if able and twrp if available for Android 11 on this one. Any pointers in the right direction would be helpful, thanks in advanced
Without taking the OTA update, I know of nothing that will get you to 11 without wiping your data. (That is why backups are good.) lolinet has 11 firmware. TWRP can be had on Telegram. Magisk is available on the github.

I have all the files needed, even without root ota says you up to date security patch January 2021 lol. I heard somewhere to edit the fstab to not auto reboot, kinda like Odin with Samsung's. Then flash thru twrp, thinking that would delete twrp, but hey is 11 really better?
I don't think you can flash a stock ROM with TWRP. No, I don't think 11 is better. That is just my opinion.

I honestly hate everything after 5 lol. 10 is frustrating. 11 has rw I'm doing it, hell 5g speeds 200 apps, 10 minutes lol and for splifs and giggles, imma try thru twrp, replacing recovery.img with twrp, vbmeta blanked then go into service file and flanh file and change the md5, what could go wrong?
Let us know how that worked out I have Moto one 5ga's with Comcast, mine is also rooted.

Question Newbie trying to get a12

hello people, I have a small Problem, i have a redmi Note 11 Pro 5g global bought over Amazon in Germany, before i got it i checked for sure that it will get a12 now in my news app they are talking about the Note 11 Pro 5g will get a12, the last Update was only November Security Patch.
and cuz' i read a Bit more about it there are custom Roms, but without twrp so If it gets updatet i need to Reset my Phone again.
sooo is there a way currently to get me a12 or a newer Version with OTA Updates?
since in the MIUI Downloader App there is a global MIUI 13 a12 Rom, with Recovery i read so much about those Things now i dont have a clue anymore i'll attach some Screenshots downbelow.
If there is a Option with only one time resetting the Phone i would do it, with a safe Guide thanks for Reading.

If you checked that the update is for your device, then you can take it, and flash it through your stock recovery.
By taking the other route, i.e. flashing a custom recovery, and so on, you always can return totally to stock, to take the update you want, if it is available. Also, when some TWRP appears (based on your words), then you can flash any stock ROM, that is prepared to be flashed through recovery.

Sorry for delay, I will show you with images.
Go to Settings/about phone:
Then open it, and tap on 13
Then tap 7 times on 13 Miui 13, to have more options
Then go to the three dots, up to the right, then you'll see the options to flash the package to your device, download the latest ROM package, and navigate to it, then your device will make the rest. Be sure to enable USB debugging previously, and set all the drivers correctly, to have more options, just in case.
