HTC one m8_ul stock firmware flash - General Questions and Answers

I am on custom rom i.e. Lineage OS 14.1 on my HTC M8. I want to go back to the stock rom and recovery. I already have the full TWRP backup of stock rom. I want either a RUU or the stock firmware file that I can flash on my m8. If that is not possible then how can I go back to stock recovery on my phone from the TWRP backup? I have restored the backup but recovery is still TWRP and not the stock one.

[Q] Bootloader No OS entry

Hello, I have been trying to root my Verizon Htc One (M8). Everything went well until I tried to flash SuperSU through TWRP. I cannot mount the System partition and when i try to reboot System it says I have no OS installed. Other than this the phone functions correctly albeit no root. The getvar-all returns:

This confuses me as all other ones I have seen have a Version-Main entry included.
As always any help is greatly appreciated.

My wife's stock phone has no OS listed on hboot. So I don't think that's your problem. Did you flash a bad Rom or accidentaly wipe system? You can try my ruu in the regular development section.

I'm STUCK - Please help

I'm trying to either get My mother in law's phone back to stock or updated to sense 6.
I Can't get S-OFF
The only rom I can flash is Pure_Stock-tr1gg3r84.zip
The only firmware I can flash is "KitKat_4.4_Firmware_One_Mini.zip" from the FUU-page (Only when I did it manual)
When I try to flash a different rom it doesn't boot (white HTC logo)
When I try a different firmware I get error 12 (signature) or 43
I have twrp installed.
when I install a different rom I flash boot.img from rom in fastboot
I relocked to install firmware. And unlocked againg afterwards
Why can't I do anything?

Try Philz recovery.
I had trouble using TWRP, it didn't want to install any rom for me. Not sure why.
Also make sure you are installing ROMS that are made for your firmware/partition layout.
I'm not an expert but that's what I've learned so far from other members.

Only able to use TWRP v2.6.3.3????

I am currently running ARHD rom 82.0 and was looking to install liquid smooth but i need TWRP 2.7.1.0 and it wont work on my phone, actually no recovery except TWRP 2.6.3.3 will work.. all other recoveries wont boot.. they just sit at the htc screen and say entering recovery but never do.......

Custom ROM for HTC one M8 Eye

I have installed custom recovery on my HTC one M8 Eye. After installing this custom recovery, I did a stupid thing. i.e, without taking any backup of the current stock ROM, tried to install a new OS(crDroidAndroid) through this recovery by doing full format. Later realised that this ROM is not for M8 EYE, but for HTC one M8. Now my device is not booting. When I restart the phone, it flashes with HTC screen with that red text "this build is for development purpose only" and then go back to bootloader.
I searched all over internet for a custom ROM for M8 EYE, but with no luck.
Anyone developed a custom ROM for HTC one M8 EYE?
P.S;
my device's bootloader is unlocked, S-OFFed.

Wrong forum section. You already posted in the M8 device section, which is a better place for this type of question.
