I have an L09, but the only advice I can give is try different files. I had a lot of issues flashing things trying to get to 7.0 and I flashed the same version of the same images multiple times, but for some reason certain files did not seem to work. After trying other people's links eventually I found a post in which all links flashed through in a breeze and without issue.
thanks a lot for you support friend.

Perhaps it was possible to make without dc phoenix, I had the same issue like you, you saw it. I said you that I had used the dload method and factory reset after... but I forgot to say you, I've also repair several partitions (system - data - cust) via the TWRP. I made it before.
Sorry to have forgotten... maybe This you will have avoided to spend 15€.

Hi , would you please tell me how can I "reboot and install again" ?
Since the touch screen is not working , I restart the phone by pressing the power key a few second . Restart the whole process for more then 10 times but the touch screen is still not working .
ASUS messed up the touch screen by updating the firmware nearly in every version, I suggest you upgrade to the newest ROM and flash twrp again. For reboot just issue ' adb reboot ' ..
May I know your firmware version ?

Hi , thank you for your suggestion .
I can't get the firmware version in the hardware information section , so I bet the software version will work as well ? Actually , I just updated my phone few days ago , so I think I'm already in the latest version .
( maybe this one ? )
After entered the TWRP , no matter ADB or Fastboot has no response , so the only way to reboot is to press the power key for about 10 seconds .

Root and OTA
Hi,
If I used your unofficial bootloader unlock method and install TWRP and root, if I want to get the next asus OTA update, can I unroot and download the full firmware from the ASUS wesbite and install it even though I have the bootloader unlocked? Thanks.
Hi. I want to have root but I want to know how you get OTA or how to get back to stock ?
Sorry , it's me again . Just a few hours ago I roll back to stock system , and perform the OTA update . After that I've root with the system again the system keep going into the recovery and cannot return to android system . Is there anyway I can return to the normal andoird system ? Thank you .

If still on TWRP recovery copy the full ROM (downloaded from ASUS, do not unzip, just copy the zip) to a SD card or to internal memory of the phone, reset to factory from within TWRP and perform an install. Worked for me. First boot takes ages

Well , I've tried this at the very beginning , but no luck . Seems the recovery is corrupted and keep stuck in it .
Finally , got a .img reocvery image , flash it via TWRP and the system resumes normal , at least it is working for me now .
Hello everyone,
I consider an update to the latest 15.0405.1712.83 version, so I'd like to know if there are any issues with TWRP compatibility or getting root back on the new ROM. Any modified boot needed?
Hello everyone,
I installed the twrp on my Asus Zenfone 4 (ZE554K -WW_14.1050.1708.36). I tried to root it, but no success... After several tries, I just gave up and now I'm trying to get the stock recovery. I couldn't find the stock recovery.img on "google" for this model. Is there any way to remove the twrp from this model of phone and some way to get stock recovery.img ? I tried to download the firmwares from official site, but I couldn't find the recovery.img inside zip files.
Thanks in advance.!

I just use the above TWRP, just can use it to install Magisk to get root.
This cannot backup data...
(Therefore suggest just boot off the custom recovery TWRP without installing it until a new version release)

Thanks again for your suggestions.
I was on 14.1060.1709.80 version of ROM with the TWRP 3.1.1 (2017.10.11).
Somehow I've managed to update to the latest 15.0405.1801.89 stock, and then flashed TWRP 3.2.1 from the @shakalaca Medium blog, so the credit goes to him anyway.
Seems like it works just fine, I successfully did a nandroid backup and flashed the latest Magisk version.
P.S.: Unfortunately I can't post external links, so either you find it yourself or the author would post the link in this thread.

Thanks! Good news for about TWRP 3.2.1 !!!
Then I searched in Google and found a web site: Android Infotech
then download the TWRP 3.2.1 version and tested,
it can use the sd card and also can read the data!
Therefore it can use to backup!

Sorry for delaying on reply and thank you so much for helping !
Next day, after I posted here, I searched a bit more and found a link with some recovery files.
Unfortunally I can't post the link cause I'm new user, but it's a Stock Recovery from shakalaca, on androidfilehost.com (thanks to him).
Then I got the stock ROM and everything gone ok. Then I updated to Oreo and now I'm trying to troubleshoot an usb file transfer issue. Another long history...
Is it safe to do this? I am with ZE554KL and a week, and I want to do root, but I am afraid and doubt, if someone can tell me if it is safe, I am grateful.

é seguro fazer esse procedimento? estou com o ZE554KL e uma semana, e quero fazer root, mas tenho medo e duvidas, se alguem puder me afirmar se é seguro, fico agradecido.
Any way to un-unlock the phone? I unlocked the phone and never had any luck booting into twrp. Ended up in a boot loop (fixed) so just going to give up on it for now before i brick it. I see no point in leaving it unlocked

It is safe to root the device , however , please make sure ALL your data already backup .
I'm not sure if it is due to the new android file system or not , but my storage is totally wiped out after I root the device . it's not happened for my previous android phone .
Just my 2 cents .

Hello, I need some help.
I got a brand new X650 (4GB/64GB) two days ago and tried TWRP from laikexpert in fastboot mode (not flashed).
This was just to see if it is a suitable candidate for flash. TWRP loaded succesfully, but was completely in chinese and did not respond on touch. MTP with PC worked.
Only choice to get out of this was long press of power-button. Even I did not flash or did anything else, Phone got stucked in first leeco screen.
Stock Recovery was still ok. I tried to perform factory reset but it did not succeed.
Maybe I mistook something with stock recovery but when I checked back later with fastboot of TWRP 3.1 from laikexpert i could see at my PC that all files were gone from phone except an empty TWRP-Folder was there.
After this I tried other older TWRP (LePro3AI_TWRP_3.0.3_recovery) from other post which had standard user interface in english and responded almost normally. I did a backup from what was remained in the phone and copied it to my PC. Afterwards I flashed this TWRP 3.0.3.
Finally I decided to flash "Le Pro3 AI version X650 EUI5.9_25S streamlined ROOT V4" which succeded in booting system, but now I am without IMEI. Means my phone is perfectly rooted and has somehow custom-ROM, but without IMEI and therefore is useless.
Can somebody help me out ?
fastboot ok
TWRP (LePro3AI_TWRP_3.0.3_recovery)

The zip-file from the linked thread below restored my phone. IMEI's are back. Phone is operational again but is now EUI 25S CN
(english language is available)
It is not exactly as before, because in fastboot it was named somehow "X650-oversea" before the mess.
Now it is changed to "whole netcom".

If you can flash by fastboot, you can try to install twrp again and flash magisk for root, if something goes wrong, you can restore the phone again via fastboot.

I tried already flash of TWRP succesfully afterwards of fastboot restore, but TWRP asks for password and could only be used in read only mode.
Phone has encrypted data partition after fastboot restore with "leecopro3 ai.zip ". I tried "default_password" and also method with setting PIN in restored phone and tried this PIN for TWRP, but without being successful in both cases.
I formatted data partition and reflashed "streamlined Root v4" again, but than again both IMEI are blank.
Would flash of "STOP_Orange+_state+S20.zip" and "no-verity-opt-encrypt.zip" help against blank IMEI in streamlined rom?
Any idea how to continue ?

Ok, I flashed again the LePro3AI_TWRP_3.0.3_recovery. Due to encrypted data partition I formatted data partition, rebooted into TWRP and put Magisk on the now available data partition.
Flash of Magisk was succesful, reboot also !
Only thing is, that english language was gone due to formatted partition, but meanwhile I know where to touch to come inside the menues.
Magisk was not there and no GSM and no IMEI was available.
Now I am back with leecopro3 ai.zip method.

Your linked Youtube video is for classical TWRP which I know well, but please see my screenshot in my previous post. It has completely different user interface and look
After some months i want to explain how to pass from hydrogenOS to OxygenOS and vice versa.
The first thing you need it's the stock rom, you can find here:
XDA Thread
Official OnePlus site (OxygenOS)
Official HydrogenOS site
You have to make sure that the version you are installing is more recent than the one you have on your mobile phone or the process will stop giving you an error, this is because oneplus has blocked the downgrade of the rom (You can also install the same version of the rom ).
At this moment you need to:
Push the stock rom on your internal storage ( in the main folder )
Go in settings/System/System updates/Setting icon on the top right/Local upgrade
Now you should select the stock rom you want to install and then need to click on "Install now"
You need only to wait the process finish to reboot your phone.
After rebooted you need to restore your phone, you can do it through stock recovery or better from Settings/System/Reset Options/Erase All Data (I suggest you include "Erase internal storage").
Now your phone is officially rebranded.
I made a video to explain how to make this local update:

Hello. I have a question: I downloaded Oxygen OS 10.0.9 from a XDA Developers link and installed it via local update on a brand new OnePlus 7T HD1900 to flash out the Hydrogen OS 10.0.7 (fresh out of the box) . The device took it successfully without the "downgrading is not allowed" error and I did a reboot after (as the phone prompted after each local update). The reboot time is taking forever (running at about 35 minutes now as of this typing), stuck on the OnePlus circling animation. Is this normal? I'm so nervous right now, I might have bricked my wife's surprise birthday gift. Can you please help? Thank you very much in advance!

Stuck on boot screen means boot loop. You've bricked your phone.
First I want to know if it's worth the risk, because the last time I've rooted a device was a moto g2 back in 2015, and afaik Galaxy devices are easy to brick.
I want to do it because Android 11 it's a mess and bad optimized to A10S. Since the last update my phone just got worse, and since a week ago it just closes almost every app without even warning.
I can't even open something like a browser without a 2 min loading.
I want to know if downgrading can make it less heavier, and if yes, I want at least to know if it's worth using an old original SO (Android 9 or 10), or if it's better using a custom ROM.
From what i understand there are no custom roms for a107m, it doesn't even come twrp. I tried and my phone went into hard brick but luckily I revived it.
When I managed to revive my device, it went up to binary 5, so I had to put Android 10. The problem with this is that I can't open the camera and I don't know if I can go back to Android 9 (the one I had originally) due to the binary . That is my situation. If you know any solution to my problem, I would appreciate it.
Sorry for my bad english.

Downgrading is not possible unless the binary of the downgraded firmware is equal to the binary of the currently installed firmware. If the binary of the downgraded firmware is lower than the binary of your currently installed firmware, you will not be able to downgrade. No, there are no "tricks" to bypass the binary block, it is not possible.

Camera may not be working due to leftover data from the previous system, if this is the cause of the issue, try booting into stock recovery and choose the factory reset option then choose the wipe cache partition option then reboot the device.
If the binary of the android 9 firmware is the same as the binary of your currently installed android 10 firmware, you should be able to downgrade to the android 9 firmware.

Extract the stock recovery.img from the firmware file then use it to create an Odin flashable .tar by using 7zip to compress the recovery.img into .tar format using the highest level of compression. Then flash the newly created recovery.img.tar via Odin. Place the recovery.img.tar in the AP slot.
Then see if you can boot into stock recovery.

Luego, vea si puede iniciar la recuperación de valore

Hmm...Strange.
Try flashing the full stock firmware again.

Oh boy, this is sad to read. My friend told me that the newest Samsung UI was developed to run on their high-end phones and this made me a little upset to why they insisted on bringing it to weaker devices. If I could just override it with another UI or an new rom, my life would be a lot easier

Intente actualizar el firmware completo de nuevo.
