Well unlike Google Play Services, MicroG does not track you.

I just now instead need a custom recovery to dismiss the stock ROM at all, to seek for the full power of my A12
With GSI’s flashed on my A12 by a custom recovery, so that i could start using MicroG instead of real Google services
And he is correct that MicroG doesn’t track you, like him i also dislike Google

So how's going on?
Is the battery improving?
BTW, have you successfully installed Viper4Android?
I'm really looking for any ROM that support V4A for this particular device...

Hi
Is there an easy way to uninstall "Gapps" on stock OOS 9 ?
If you are a root user, you can uninstall pre-installed apps without any problem
Arrgh
Wish I could do without gapps. Tried this week but 1 app I really need. Google is constantly wanting location. Irritating, to me anyway. Other reasons also. Like their one sided news stories.
Titanium backup
Titanium backup works great. I even deleted the pesty update to 9.0 notice popping up.

On Oxygen OS you cannot achieve this, even if you disable all gapps and oneplus apps(yes oneplus also tracks you). Try unofficial lineage OS, it can save you somewhat.
Why won't you install H2OS instead?

I thought about it.
But i don't know what to think about it.
Chinese government doesn't want Gapps but who knows if they are not asking for backdoors in Hydrogen OS to spy on their people ?
Would not be surprising..

Exactly, that is why I would like to request @optimumpro to make a rom for our device, as he is a pro in security stuff.
Did anyone tested lineageos microg version? They have a website and they fork lineageos with working google play without gapps.

Yes, uninstalling Magisk will result in your device going in no-root stage. Uninstalling Xposed doen't affect device's root-stage.

You have to differentiate between GMS-core and GMS-apps. Google Play Store is part of GMS-core.
BTW: GApps is a term of aftermarket GMS versions.
